Daniel Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Tastes ok, maybe a little rubbery in texture :P
Jimbob Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Pfft, that's not a chocolate cake. This is a chocolate cake! Took a little longer than five minutes, though. Fair enough, but i reckon it took 5 mins to post the pic and eat the cake at the same time. (model not included with cake i suppose) I got an email about this a few weeks ago, i did give it a go in work but it kind of exploded because of the size of the mug i used (small). Was nice though.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Jordan has the supercock. Sorry! May one inquire how thou knowest this?
jayseven Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 There was this one time, at band camp... OR! When Letty and I were having this, like, totally cool sleep-over in London, she told me everything. Everything. Everything. Everything. Everything. Or, y'know... not.

EEVILMURRAY Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Jordan has the supercock. Sorry! Well it's a good thing you and Jordan are destined to be together.
jayseven Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 In a Final Destination sort of way, though.
S.C.G Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 *cough* meanwhile back on the topic of all things cake related, I decided to have a go... It was nice, 85% spongey on the outside and 15% crunchy on the inside >> I believe this was due to the cooking time, the three minutes stated is much longer than is required and from cooking this first cake I would recommend two minutes 15 seconds on 900 watts, oh and next time I'm gonna grease up the mug first or line it with grease-proof paper because the cake stuck to the cup like a tongue to an ice-cube lol Other than that though I was reasonably pleased with it and I'd rate it as far as cakes go a 7/10
EEVILMURRAY Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 In a Final Destination sort of way, though. Even though I know of the existence of the films. I can't help but think of the Tales of Symphonia soundtrack when people say that.
Dyson Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Me too EEVIL. Too much of an impact on my life, I think so. What flour are you guys using for the cakes?
MoogleViper Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 I don't have cocoa. And when it says cake flour, does it mean self-raising? Surely having an egg in it and not cooking it properly is slightly risky? Cooking it in the microwave is fine. Besides it's highly unlikely that you will get salmonella from an egg.
Kirkatronics Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 A single mug?Thats just lazy :p Lol, i really am when it comes to cleaning. I hate it. Does look worth it though.
Letty Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 I don't have cocoa. And when it says cake flour, does it mean self-raising? . I used hot chocolate and halved the sugar, and yes! Also, its true, Jordan does have a super cock.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Also, its true, Jordan does have a super cock. O_O *facedesk* Anyway, I really oughta try this one out. Looks really mushy and tasty.
MoogleViper Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 I used hot chocolate and halved the sugar, and yes! Also, its true, Jordan does have a super cock. Don't have that either (the hot chocolate that is, I do have a super cock.) Did everybody's cake turn out easily enough or did you have to cut them out.
Letty Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Don't have that either (the hot chocolate that is, I do have a super cock.) Did everybody's cake turn out easily enough or did you have to cut them out. I ate mine with a spoon out of the cup!

You know, that can be taken one of two ways to be honest. I hope you meant the cake and not Jordan. I'm giving the cake thing another go with lesser ingredients next time, hopefully won't explode as before.
Dyson Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 I just made it - tastes rather good! Was enjoyable watching it rise in the cup and then dive back down again after the microwave pinged Impressive stuff!
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 You know, that can be taken one of two ways to be honest. I hope you meant the cake and not Jordan. Why is that?
MoogleViper Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 How long did everyone cook it for? I have a 700W microwave.
Dyson Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 I gave it 3 minutes on 700W and it worked fine. Haha, such a weird texture. Hard to describe. I think more chocolate is needed next time
Jimbob Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Why is that? Well, i'm only guessing. Who knows what happens behind closed doors
ReZourceman Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Hhmmmmm. I'm how long do you have to leave it out of the microwave until its just warm,.....like....vagina warm if you catch my drift.

ReZourceman Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Please tell me you aren't going to eat it afterwards. Don't be ridiculous. I'm not wasting an egg.
