ReZourceman Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Aye this is the most amazing thing in the world. (assuming its the same one I've favourite on YOOOTYOOOB)
Bren Posted January 12, 2009 Author Posted January 12, 2009 its not the scissors one if thats wot your thinking!
fex Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 I believe its called Holophonic sound. And god knows why they dont include this in films etc. I think Pink Floyd have used the effect on one of their albums there is a better example with matchsticks here
Jav_NE Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 They had this at Universal Studios, or was it MGM studios, i cant remember. It was all an audio experience and getting your hair cut was one part of it. Its pretty cool. Cant remember what else they did, though a fly buzzing by each ear seems to ring a bell.
Bren Posted January 12, 2009 Author Posted January 12, 2009 Yeh iv heard a few, but this one was just so funny, and when the bag gets put over your head, that was just a weird feeling :S Lovin the whisper at the end, made me jump lol
Rummy Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 I heard this about a year ago now, pretty amazing, damn brilliant! Though it has its flaws and that, and as far as I' heard they haven't yet managed to develop an algorithm to transform the sound for both left and right ears consistently, or something? The easiest way to make it is just have a dummy head with two mic's hooked up where each ear is?
LazyBoy Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 OMG, FPS games now. Seriously, f*ck your graphics and your online and 1000 enemies, I want this. Incredible, bloody incredible.
Paj! Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 They had this at Universal Studios, or was it MGM studios, i cant remember. It's used a lot in theme park attractions. In fact, it's a vital component of Stich's Great Escape! in Magic Kingdom in Florida, and other similar things like that.
Konfucius Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 This is absolutely brilliant. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
EEVILMURRAY Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 That is pr0. I shall be showing my family this tomorrow. It's just a shame he didn't do/say more things other than "I'm moving to your left. Now I'm on your right."
dan-likes-trees Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Someone posted this here a while ago. Brilliant nonethless. I believe its called Holophonic sound. And god knows why they dont include this in films etc. I think Pink Floyd have used the effect on one of their albums there is a better example with matchsticks here Jesus that one takes the cake!! Awesome!
Mokong Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 I don't hear anything after he says "I'm Manuel" just silence? EDIT: Oh you have press play at that point....why? it was already playing...ok doing it now EDIT2: Haha, that was cool, at the end when he talks to your "ear" was awesome
ShadowV7 Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 I had that aswell, I kept refreshing and everything untill I just pressed the play button again and it worked fine after that Pretty cool this. Only downfall was that it was shorter than I thought.

I believe that was MGM. And that was much better than the virtual barbershop.
