Do I start my personal statement now, and risk it being crappy and unoriginal, or wait till after the weekend, with the added stress of having wasted a weekend!! When I did mine, I wrote mine honestly, which, on the face of it, looked a bit boring, but they like that - unless you're applying to Cambridge or MIT, they want you to be a normal human, and not some workaholic robot. Oh, and if you put something really cool, but absurd, like, say, that you can pilot a plane, then you will get the one lecturer in the Uni who actually can.
