I've been reading NGamer's ongoing coverage of this for a few months now, it looks like a riot. I think it has the potential to take off in the West!
Well I'm definitely glad to hear that. I mean you were right about Rhythm Tengoku Gold, so here's hoping... *crosses fingers* :smile:

 

By the way, is there any coverage on this in the current issue of NGamer?

There's been a bit of Wii-vival in my household recently. I've been taking care of my youngest niece (7 years old) on a number of occasions and I usually let her play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on my Switch.

I booted up my Wii last week for the first time in a while. Had a pretty frustrating couple of days at work and by the end I was fed up so much I needed to let off some steam, so I booted up Wii Sport

ya why was dead space ex actually made? It boggles me really.

 

It's a game wii owners haven't heard, plus no marketing, plus an archaic game design rail shooter

 

how did they expect this to sell very well?

 

It's all about building a franchise. The conduit should be allowed to continue as a series and have improvements everytime but gamers on wii will always compare it to the best 360 titles and scoff it off despite games like killzone 1 being a load of arse on the first attempt despite hype and getting a sequel which improved everything. Granted it was on the next gen console but still.

 

Gamers like to see 2s and 3s next to their titles it reasures them that THIS title will be improved over the last and THIS game was good enough to get a sequel. thats my opinion.

 

I suppose it will be interesting to see who ends up publishing the Grinder now, since Sega probably aren't going to at this point.

High Voltage Software said they had a number of offers to publish The Conduit, so I'm sure they'll be able to find someone. Personally speaking, I'd say since The Conduit, they've probably realised a lot of their mistakes and have revamped The Grinder quite a bit. Mark my words, when we next see The Grinder it will be totally different from what we've already seen of it.

I've just been browsing the Wii Shop Channel, and noticed this 'Connection Ambassador Promotion' thing.

 

As I have just re-invested in a Wii, I would qualify as a new user. So anyone who wants 500 points for free let me know and we can arrange something.

I'm not doubting they'll find one, I'm more curious as to who it is. Fingers crossed for EA so there's a chance of not having to use friend codes.

do you ever find that with gametrailers if you play the embedded vid it only plays a corner of the video? anyone else have this problm it's been annoying me for quite a while.

 

That doesn't happen often with me, but often enough to be irritating.

 

As for that video... I guess the graphics look...enjoyable?

So, KIA:

 

  • Metroid Prime Trilogy

  • Wario Land: Shake It!
  • Mario Strikers Charged

 

Not confirmed that this applies to Europe as well, but seems very likely. Get 'm while you can!

Australia gets another title to go with it!

 

In our research to validate that Metroid Prime Trilogy has indeed be discontinued in Australia, we were also saddened to find out that Mario and Luigi 3: Bowser’s Inside Story has also fallen to the same fate.

 

While most games do eventually get discontinued, it’s odd that Nintendo of all people have decided to take this step to not only a Mario game but a Metroid one as well. Nintendo’s games have excellent legs at retail. The appearance of Mario Kart DS in this week’s charts will attest to that.

 

Just because a game isn’t new doesn’t mean DS owners won’t pick it up; sadly, in a few months someone looking for the title may have trouble finding a copy.

Damn, I got next to nothing when I sold these last year so perhaps I should have held onto them for just a little longer.

 

I still have BWii knocking around somewhere so maybe, just maybe I can get a decent return on that.

I'm going to have to get copies of these at some point now I guess. I always was, but I thought I might have a little more time to see if the prices got a bit more reasonable here before I purchased them.

Thats what I thought as well (Especially with Metroid Prime Trilogy)

Wow, wtf is happening? I just assumed that Metroid Prime Trilogy would stop being published in exchange for Metroid Prime: New Play Control or a MPT without the collectors edition stuff. But this is just strange...
