Emasher Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 if by best you mean worst, i agree with you Elaborate please, there isn't much point in saying you hate something without backing it up, it just pisses people off.

ShadowV7 Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 (edited) Capcoms solution to the New Play Control games Edited April 13, 2009 by ShadowV7
Fierce_LiNk Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Capcoms solution to the New Play Control games Maybe they should concentrate on giving us New Resident Evil games. Resident Evil Remake Wiimade. Being a Resident Evil fan is fucking expensive.
mcj metroid Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Capcoms solution to the New Play Control games good deal if you ask me.. both massive games in their own right and very difficult it's unlikely many people will get through both.
Emasher Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 I hope its true, I wasn't into that sort of game last generation so I missed out on these. Although, I do wonder how they would work with Wii controls.
Guest Captain Falcon Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 I hope its true, I wasn't into that sort of game last generation so I missed out on these. Although, I do wonder how they would work with Wii controls. Hasn't it been reported that the games makes no use what so ever of the additional functionality offered by the Wii remote, or have I dreamt reading that...
Dante Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Hasn't it been reported that the games makes no use what so ever of the additional functionality offered by the Wii remote, or have I dreamt reading that... Your right about it not using functionality of the Wii remote and you cant used the GC controller for it.
Retro_Link Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Funny how we've had regular updates on Another Code and Punch-Out since their reveal [at what ever that show was], but there's been nothing on: Endless Ocean 2, Sin & Punishment 2, that Sword Fighting game, that Space walking game etc... Guess we'll be waiting til E3 now!
Strange Cookie Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 (edited) zero mission is one of the best remakes ever seriously I hear ya! Truer words were never spoken! there's been nothing on:Endless Ocean 2, Sin & Punishment 2, that Sword Fighting game, that Space walking game etc... S&P2 had better be at E3, or else I'll... wait, I guess? This is the sequel to the game the Wii was made for, so my hopes are up. I just hope they don't cater too much for the 'casual market'; Dreadful word, but you know what I mean. Edited April 14, 2009 by Strange Cookie
Dante Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 The rumoured Shining Force Cross for the Wii turn out to be for the Acarde.
S.C.G Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Odd choice... why are they taking the Shining Force RPG series in the direction of what looks like an arcade hack 'n slash title?
D_prOdigy Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Ubi's press release for Assassin's Creed 2: SAN FRANCISCO – April 16, 2009 – Today Ubisoft announced that Ubisoft Montreal is developing Assassin’s Creed II on all current-generation platforms for a scheduled Holiday 2009 release. The initial installment of Assassin’s Creed® was released in November 2007 to popular and critical success, selling 8 million copies worldwide and garnering awards such as Best Action Game 2007 from 1UP and Outstanding Achievement in Animation from the AIAS. Assassin’s Creed II is the product of over two years of intensive development by the original creative team behind the Assassin’s Creed brand. In a vast open world environment, the game invites players to incarnate Ezio, a privileged young noble in Renaissance Italy who’s been betrayed by the rival ruling families of Italy. Ezio’s subsequent quest for vengeance plunges players into a captivating and epic story that offers more variety in missions, surprising and engaging new gameplay elements, diverse weapons and a profound character progression that will appeal to fans of the original Assassin’s Creed as well as entice players new to the brand. “Our creative team is working hard to top the experience of Assassin’s Creed,” said Patrice Desilets, creative director at Ubisoft. “We’ve made improvements to every aspect of the game. We’ve plunged ourselves into the stunning history of the Italian Renaissance so that we can offer fans a unique, varied and innovative Assassin’s Creed experience.” Additional details on Assassin’s Creed II are revealed in the May issue of Game Informer. Excuse me for being skeptical as fuck. Then again... PSP game is on the way too. Easy engine transfer.
Ashley Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Don't forget, 360 and PS3 are 'next-gen', Wii is Gamecube 1.5
Diageo Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Maybe they're saying wii isn't current generation hardware...

Emasher Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Well I'd love to see this come to the Wii, I'm doubtful. If we get a decent version of it though, and Red Steel 2 turns out decent, Ubisoft are fully forgiven.
Diageo Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 reminds me of that sonic screen in that style that was up a while back. I think if they made a beautiful sidescroller like this for sonic or donkey kong they'd sell by the bucketload.
Emasher Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I was in one of those stores that sell everything and have a really crappy game selection earlier today. I noticed they now have a dedicated bargain bin for Ubisoft games.
darksnowman Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Oh. My. Lord. I've not been on NeoGAF in weeks so I missed this. Consider my desktop changed.
S.C.G Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Oh. My. Lord. I've not been on NeoGAF in weeks so I missed this. Consider my desktop changed. Seconded. ^^
D_prOdigy Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 If UK retailers do pass that price hike onto consumers, and if the Japanese market continues to shrink, I can certainly see that lead become less profound. Iwata admitted that Japanese sales were unhealthy, but dismissed a price cut. I think they could get away with not slashing the price if they had some imminent big software hitters, but they don't particularly (although there's arguably Wii Sports Resort). It's not doomsday by any means, but Nintendo should certainly be looking closely at the situation now before leaving it any longer. Now the pinch has hit them at home, the ball is well and truly in NCL's court.
