Goron_3 Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 So it's basically more Hotel Dusk than it is Another Code? Right, I need! Any idea when it might get released here in Ingerland?
Patch Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 June, according to the recent release dates posted on the main page. Can't wait for this. I love the graphical style. The Japanese boxart is quite nice too:
Dante Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 Another Code European release is scheduled to hit stores in June.
Owen Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 I love that Boxart! Hopefully we'll have the same but with English (Obviously).
Strange Cookie Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 (edited) Looks pretty sharp. Another Code was great (if short), so I'll be keeping my eyes on this. Now someone give this gal a shotgun! Edited April 17, 2009 by Strange Cookie
Retro_Link Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 EU Release date: http://www.cubed3.com/news/12151 Nintendo Europe has set a date for Another Code R for Wii - coming this June to European adventure fans. Another Code R: A Journey into Lost Memories is due out in Europe on 26th June 2009. Be sure to check out the latest trailer on the Nintendo Channel.
darksnowman Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 A week before my birthday - great timing! Exactly three months before my birthday...
Mike Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Just seen the new trailer for it - it's actually got proper British voice acting! Take that, America. This is definitely my most anticipated Wii game for the first half of the year.
STOOPIDDITTIES Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 I seriously can't wait for this! And was quite surprised by the british voice acting too but love it all the same.
dazzybee Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 There's loads of games coming out in June! Why do they schedule stuff like this?!?!
Retro_Link Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Yeah crowded summer!! Another Code ExciteBots Grand Slam Tennis Virtua Tennis Punch Out Little Kings Story Wii Sports Resort Ghostbusters Tiger Woods All potential buys IMO!
Fierce_LiNk Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Yeah...out of that list there's at least four that are must buys, for me. Another one or two that I can see myself picking up later. I know many people are complaining that there's not enough on the Wii, but I'm slowly finding myself drowning in games. I can honestly see myself owning about 30 Wii games or more by the end of the year.
Strange Cookie Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Wow. That actually blew my mind! And up it goes, straight to the upper regions of my Most Wanted-list! Another Code was great, if a tad short. But there were some awesome puzzles inthere. I hope the same creativity can be found in this version.
Start/Select Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 Just got this through the mail. Nice boxing I must say. If you have any questions about the game, feel free to ask me and I'll get back to you with them
Retro_Link Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 Be great if you could just post some impressions once you've gotten stuck into it!
Mike Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 My girlfriend went to the Nintendo HQ in London today to playtest this (I'm jealous!). I'll let you know what she thought later.
Start/Select Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 I'm a good three hours in but only on chapter 2. So far so good. Visuals are quite nice of the Wii but some of the character animations are hit and miss. A lot of dialogue and sadly no voice acting. The story so far is pretty decent too.
marcel Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 @Start/Select, How come you got a copy of the game a week before its release date? oh well. I’ve got 2 questions for you. 1. I know that the Japanese version has a reversible box art (like the new play control games) it is also the case with the European version? (if so could you please make a photo or so) 2. The makers of the game stated in an interview that the game is best played on a big TV, but are there any noticeable jaggies?
Mike Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 My girlfriend played this for two hours or so yesterday at Nintendo HQ, and said she enjoyed it. She said the graphics were pretty good, with nice character animations. Controls all worked well, too. The puzzles all seemed to be pretty easy ('use match to light a fire' kind of thing), and the music, which she said reminded her of The Sims, was all okay. No voiceovers at all, though (so it seems that Ashley is only British in the trailer!), and there's a LOT of sitting and pressing A to scroll through text. If you don't mind that, it sounds like a good game!
dazzybee Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 Yeah crowded summer!! Another Code ExciteBots Grand Slam Tennis Virtua Tennis Punch Out Little Kings Story Wii Sports Resort Ghostbusters Tiger Woods All potential buys IMO! If only Excitebots was coming out.... And ghostbusters is going to be Autumn isn't it?
Retro_Link Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 If only Excitebots was coming out.... And ghostbusters is going to be Autumn isn't it? Yeah I made that post quite some time ago, there's been a few changes since then.
