welsh_gamer
Only 13 titles to pre-order over at Gameplay?! Yikes! Anywhoo, I expected this to be March so I'm happy as I've got a lot of games to play on Wii, DS and 360 over the next few months thanks to the sales. Yeah the PS3 and 360 list is brilliant, and the Wii has had some great sleeper hits to get through this year..so thats good...BUT we've gotta agree that with the 'competition' having amazing titles in the first 2-3 months alone, that the Wii's list is lacking..lets hope Nintendo release Endless Ocean 2 etc...we need that Q1/Q2 release list Ninty! and yeah i think thats the same time as GOW3 Daft.. Daft
Cool. Well they're pretty different games so I think I'll grab RS2 as well (Time permitting. I'm going to have to leave a lot of titles for later in the year). I have no interest in the yawnathon that is FFXIII.
LostOverThere
Could we get a show of who here's going to be getting this? I'll definitely be picking this up unless on the rare case it gets sub 7.0 reviews. As for the release date, I was guessing it would be April '10 so I'm feeling pretty good about a March release myself.
D_prOdigy
I will definitely. This and No More Heroes 2 are my two day 1 certainties for early 2010. Edit: Add Silent Hill to that list. pff. Edited December 27, 2009 by D_prOdigy

I don't think we're getting No More Heroes 2 in the UK early 2010, i thought i read somewhere it needs to find a publisher and that the latest news is that 'Rising star' games was publishing it and it won't be out till summer time! might have dreamed that, mind you..haha I'll be playing Silent Hill today, i give some impressions of it later! Daft
I'll be picking this up. If not on release then soon after.
Dannyboy-the-Dane
I shall most definitely pick this up! Despite its flaws, I just loved Red Steel 1, and this looks as if it will surpass its predecessor in every way!
Sméagol
Yeah, me too, this has been on my must-buy list for a very long time. I also like the first despite its flaws (must finish it one day with the good ending though, couldn't do the last fight because I was suddenly having problems with the motion recognition (batteries perhaps)). And I've actually already played this one (demo @ Köln), so I already know the controls are smooth.
Ren of Heavens
Ubi has little faith in RS2: Ubisoft Cuts Sales Projections In Half For Red Steel 2 News "Ubisoft projects sales of 500,000 for Red Steel 2 as the game prepares for launch in March of this year" A bit more than The Conduit, but way lower than RS1. D_prOdigy
Seems basically like a foretelling that they won't market it.
Daft
Well that makes no sense... I can only guess it's because March is a massive month for the 'hardcore'.
welsh_gamer
Pre-order WITH the Wii Motion Plus + for £29.99 at Amazon
Retro_Link
Pre-order WITH the Wii Motion Plus + for £29.99 at Amazon That's wierd!! I can't see this being a budget title at £19.99, so that's effectively a free MotionPlus!
Owen
I think i preordered it from GAME when it was £29.99..probably change it so i don't get a motionplus..but i don't need anymore anyway. I think it'll do pretty well sales wise...boxart looks cool..got cowboys in it..swords/guns..should be alright. They can only blame themselves for releasing it in such a epic month.... Retro_Link
I don't really need any more MotionPlus right now past the 2 I already have, but makes sense to get one if you can just to sell it!
welsh_gamer
Sold my spare MotionPlus+ for £12.10 yesterday, so Red Steel 2 for under £20 on launch for me, and I might just sell the one I get then too if there's not a whole lot of MotionPlus+ compatible multiplayer games coming out for the rest of the year. Fused King
I'm hoping that the game will sell beyond Ubi's expectations. That way, we might just get to hear some new statements about the wii and such:laughing: 'Red Steel 2 sold pretty well, because the wii is a great piece of hardware for games like these and still is the only console out there with motion controls. We'll scratch Raving Rabbids 4 and from here on out, Rayman will be property of NINTENDO'

This could match its predecessors sales figures and Ubi probably wouldnt bat an eyelid; they seem to be a publisher pitching themselves at high end tech now. They've shat on the Wii and are happy to now flush it down the pan.
dazzybee
Surely if the first game did over a million, this can too! Surely! I think it looks great, but they can so easily get it wrong. Would love them to nail it and build on it with amazing online for Red Steel 3!
