Are you talking about E4 because that would be the 8th season which was the end...until it ended and they decided to carry it on.

The 9th season is kinda a half-continuation. Bill Lawrence wanted to called it Scrubs: Med School (or something) but the network won't allow him because it loses the brand name. Anywho Dr Cox and Turk are still around, set one year after the end of season eight, and Sacred Heart has always been a teaching hospital but now you're going to see the college. Everyone else is popping up at some point (except, presumably, the Janitor as Neil Flynn is on a new show...unless that gets yanked) in varying degrees. Braff is doing the first six episodes I believe to 'ease the transition' (again, network's decision). Oh and actually, not sure about Jordan as Christa Miller is doing Cougar Town...but as both are run by her husband I can see her popping up now and then. The voice over will be done by some new girl and even the episode titles are different. Before it was "My...." (except the occasional "his/her/their story") and now its "Our..."

There's my non-spoiler fact file on Scrubs v2. Oh and it doesn't begin airing til January in the states.

Well GOOD. And also, Dante, if you show any spoilers whatsoever without spoiler tags, or in any way ruin the virgin blanket that the new series is to me, then I will infract you. SO BE ON YOUR TOES.

Nice. I'm terrified sometimes to come into this thread. It's just so tempting with its popularity. I feel like I'm missing out.

Yes but surely its improved your life so it all balances.

Actually, one of the students (although not one of my students) in my lecture yesterday said she watches it which surprised me. Don't hear that often.

I've had 3 people at work ask about Veronica Mars DVD's, it surprises me every time too. It's as if I can mentally sum them up in that instant :heh:

Hmm strange, before this woman I'd not met anyone who had watched it that I hadn't made watch it.

Oh and ABC have picked up Cougar Town, The Middle and Modern Family for a full season. So I'm guessing Scrubs season 9 will be Janitorless.

Not watched it. Looks average and I can see Flynn just playing the janitor with a family, and less crazy. Not really interested in it im honest.

Seems that the E4 repeats are working a bit then. Shame its been slashed for daytime viewing.

TVGuide.com -Mad Men star Christina Hendricks Gets Married

091012christina-hendricks1.jpgMad Men co-star Christina Hendricks has tied the knot with Geoffrey Arend, People reports.

Hendricks, 34, who plays the voluptuous and fiery Joan on the AMC drama, and Arend, said "I do" Sunday at Il Buco restaurant in New York City. They exchanged platinum wedding bands — each with two rows of pave-set diamonds — by Tacori.

Mad Men's Christina Hendricks engaged

The couple was introduced by Hendricks' Mad Men co-star, Vincent Kartheiser, and got engaged in December.

Arend, 31, most recently appeared in (500) Days of Summer.

Desperate Housewives Mid-Season break spoiler. Lost "Easter Egg" too.

Half way through the season a plane is going to crash into Wisteria Lane, and it's supposedly going to be the plane from (from the same company? Same flight number?) Lost. Or something along those lines...I didn't really get the Lost reference. Anyway, plane crashing down onto Wisteria Lane? Amazing.

Oceana is the fictional airline from Lost, and it'll be one of their planes.

Personally im sick of the usual Sweeps episodes OTT drama. The supermarket robbery was interesting, then we've had what; a hurricane, a fire, and now an airplane crash?

Joss Whedon to direct an episode of Glee.

Oh and Fox have confirmed they will show all 13 episodes of season two of Dollhouse.

Well Dollhouse has been shelved for November sweeps in the place of...repeats. There will be an episode this week, and then two part episodes on Fridays in December (Christmas day has yet to be confirmed). So essentially, Dollhouse has been cancelled.

Nice while it lasted.

They will be filming 13 episodes which were ordered. There was the chance a back 9 would have been picked up, but it was about a 0.5% chance so I presume Joss has planned for 13.

Katee Sackhoff will be swinging by The Big Bang Theory for a brief cameo on November 23rd and apparently "there may be nudity".

Kristin Chenoweth will return to Glee in the new year :D!

And also, in case anyone hasn't heard, Madonna has agreed for all her music to be used on the show so there will be a Madonna themed episode...I may miss that one out :heh:
