I love both pretty much equally. I plan to own hundreds of each when I leave Uni and can provide them with a stable environment.

Unfortunately, I've never owned either because my sister's allergic.

My favourite dogs are Italian Greyhounds - Small versions of greyhounds

and my favourite cats are Singapuras, but any moggy will do.

Getting them from rescue shelters is totally the way foward.

Post pictures of your dogs and cats too!

I have a dog called Jane, about 6 or 7 years old. Whenever I come home she makes this noise that we thought at first was just a yon but it sounds very similar to "Hello".

I don't mind cats though, a certain few of them I'm not very fond of however.

I quite like cats. I don't own a cat unfortunetly, however the neighbours cat which spends most of its time in our garden is great. It doesn't behave like normal cats do, as they run off at the sight of you. However this cat will bound up to you, jump on your knee and even come in and walk around the kitchen.

How can you not like that:

Also i've never really liked greyhounds, they just seem scrawny to me.

See you could post these decent enough pics of dogs until this thread dies... but you have to look at it this way:

Sure, you get small cute dogs (and sloths!) but inside every one of them is a evil. Cats purr, but dogs are just waiting for a chance to turn against you.

I'm not going to argue with you there! :)

I'm sure my cat is plotting world domination and slowly gathering supporters for his diabolical scheme!

Evil isn't a bad quality per se but they're too smart for their own good! :p

Also, I can't argue with this:

Also that Baby Sloth is so Cute!

I know, I want one!! :(

Nero disagrees:

Nero...interesting choice of name...:p

Nero seems pretty cool, but don't tell him I said that.

They are harmless though, when I had cats I played with them and let them scratch and bite me. As long as you aren't a wimp its all good.

Most dogs aren't aggressive, and alot of them that are have been trained to be, so as long as you aren't a wimp dogs are good too. And what about Lions, Tigers, cheetahs, leopards, ect. They're still cats.
