Or something like that

Not really sure what I am. Thought I was a bit of a casual gamer, but I don't know...

I don't have much time or money to spend on games, but I do love them and buy different kind of games (though no sports or FPS). I go for the mainstream ones (Mario and Zelda) as well as some more obscure ones as Chibi Robo, Ouendan, Rhythm Tengoku...

I guess I'm a Hybrid, though I do finish most of the games I own, just not all (due to time being limited). Don't really have anyone to play with so can't do much multiplayer (though I do own such games and have at least two controllers for every console I own). And online I'll only do occasionally, cause I seem to get a lot of lag. =O

I think i'm exactly this to! :D

With maybe a bit of Solo and Hardcore Thrown In!

That's right I'm an odd gamer.... :heh:

I've gotta go with Hybrid I think, I love my solo gamage, but then I can't help but love a nice bit of multiplayer(online or off) with peeps. Not hardcore, I've dropped off from games compared to how I used to be back in the day, and I'm usually not the best of a multiplayer bunch, but enjoy it regardless. Having said that, I don't know if anything quite beats slaughtering my friend and his puny empire to a bunch of cowering villagers in AoE II, even after he turned on his faithful ally against a CPU beast, which he inevitably tries every time, and fails to do. As for not finishing, rather guilty on a number of counts.

(Now I bet he's gonna read this and get incensed up about it. Resulting in epic win for him, or epic lulz for me once more)

I put hybrid because I freaking hate these "hardcore", "casual" tags and the importance give to them these days.

I'm a mix of casual and hybrid, there are times where i play games to amuse me (Sundays) and there are times where i feel i must complete something to satisfy (Saturdays, Worknights).

I'm not anything else really because i don't have time to be anything else.

Hardcore all the way for me. I hate having unfinished games on the shelf. I suppose im a Solo gamer aswell as I barely play on Xbox Live even though I have a gold account.

Hybrid. Cool for whatever. Happy to go solo, always an extra controller whn friends come round.

Interesting, it was kinda neat how much the hybrid choice described my pattern.

It's kinda weird though, I've chosen games as my life, you'd think I'd be more of a hardcore gamer. (I'm going to college to learn how to create game art)

I went with Hybrid, basically because i don't fit anywhere else. I was thinking Online until i read Iun's description. I like my online multiplayer, but my room ain't no "command centre" I'm not obsessed enough to be Hardco', the only videos i watch at 5am are porno

I would have gone for hybrid but I almost always complete my games so I went for hardcore...I like to call myself an "avid" gamer. I enjoy games on the same level as a good book.

I think the fact that my job is to play computer games also pushes me towards the hardcore end. I only actually play games when I have nothing else to do...basically Sundays! :p

I prefer single play experiences but I like to mix it up a bit. I like it when a game captures me like when I'm reading a good book.

I'm between Hybrid and Hardcore. All those nights staying up at E3, all those little glitches used to my advantages in games but, alas, in the end I went with Hybrid as I have now kinda realised that I am not as hardcore as I once was. Last year I would have been more hardcore than hybrid but now I suppose I'm a little bit more hybrid than hardcore but still...a gamer at heart

haha

I've put hybrid as I have a habit of dipping in and out of games. Recently though I've been going back and completing games I never got around to finishing. This ranges from Mario 64 to Second Sight on GC (I got stuck on one level and just gave up after about 30 attempts, then went back later and completed the whole game)

So yeah, although I now do complete most games I put hybrid. I also love Multiplayer but can't afford all the controllers so sadly that can't happen too often, and I stay up late waiting for E3 news and learning every character in Brawl as soon as they are announced. I'm a mix I guess.

I voted for hardcore, however I'm more a combination of hardcore, hybrid and solo.
