darksnowman Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 A New Beginning is a cinematic, interactive eco-thriller. In the classic adventure game an impending global climate cataclysm threatens the world, in a story ripped from today’s headlines, dealing with the defining issue of our time. At locations all around the globe, players will have to try and stem the tide– with the whole world hanging in the balance. In A New Beginning, players take control of two protagonists and explore the detailed, hand-painted backgrounds. The more than 30 characters are rendered in a realistic 2D style and are painstakingly animated by hand in feature film quality. Many challenging puzzles and adventurous situations have to be overcome to prevent the impending climate chaos. The ambitious adventure game project is in development for PC, Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii. More point and clickage coming the way of the Wii and DS.

Patch Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 Ditto - I would love to see Point and Click adventures make a comeback. This one looks nicely foreboding and atmospheric.

Fandango Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 Ditto - I would love to see Point and Click adventures make a comeback. This one looks nicely foreboding and atmospheric. Yeah, I would give my left arm for Lucas-Arts to stop making Star War games and go back to what they're good at, Point and Click Adventures : peace: ! The game looks promising though, I love 2-D.

dwarf Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 I think Fifa would be more fun multiplayer than this, seeing as this doesnt look like a raving party game. I think I'll get Fifa instead, mostly because anime sucks.
flameboy Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 love the art style. point and click were a stable part of my Amiga days and I do miss those games.
Noku Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 I think Fifa would be more fun multiplayer than this, seeing as this doesnt look like a raving party game.
