Is the point of Dead Space 2 to scare the frak out of you? Not my type of game so quit after the second save point for now.

You stopped playing because you got scared or because it's just not your type of game? :heh:

I may have to snap up Soul Reaver to play on my PSP. My PSP has now become my portable PSOne. :D

I did consider getting it as well....

This game arrived in the post for me this week:) :

If you're wondering why I got 2 is because I accidentally won on 2 auctions without realising (they were both ending within a few seconds of each other) :p

Fortunately a friend wants to buy the other copy.

*waits for comments that Infamous 2 is so good it's worth buying twice*

Ridiculous? It's not worth buying twice.

Three times, maybe. Probably four, though.

Anonymous Purportedly Hacks PlayStation Network Again

Infamous hacking group Anonymous claims to have hacked the PlayStation Network again. The following was posted on Twitter:

psn.jpg

The group linked to a lengthy document of the data they purportedly mined, including e-mail addresses and what appears to be other encrypted information.

It's important to keep in mind that this is totally unconfirmed. It's also worth noting that PlayStation Network is still up, so if this is real, it was a data leak and hasn't led to an outage (at least at this point).

We’ve reached out to Sony for comment and will update when we hear back.

Update since then (same link)

- Data is old data.

- Sony said it isn't true.

- Anonymous have removed the tweet.

If anyone has a Vita you have to pick up Sound Shapes. It's brilliant. The level editor is so easy to use, too. Honestly cannot recommend it enough. It has cloud syncing too (unless I've missed something it's the only game I know to do it), so switching between the PS3 and Vita version is easy as pie.

Made one short level, working on another now; http://soundshapesgame.com/profile/Daft

Is it possible to copy game data from the Vita to PS3, then move it back from the PS3 to the Vita later on?

I'd rather not delete stuff and have to download it later.

Yes, just hook it up via USB and use Content Manager on the Vita.

You can use a PC if you prefer, too.

Use a cable? In this day and age?

No WiFi or Bluetooth option?

You say that like it's some huge hardship to plug in a cable whilst you're sat within a few feet of your PS3/PC anyway.

Besides, the process is slow enough over USB. I dread to think how ponderous it would be wirelessly.

Just Cause 2 is also free this week.

I noticed this accidentally and was pleased when I realised as I was annoyed that the last games have all been ones I've owned...Dead Space 2, Borderlands, Red Dead Redemption, Saints Row 2. Although I did download Saints Row such a good game to have on HDD and just fire up and muck about.

I've own Borderlands and Red Dead on 360, I rented Dead Space 2 and didn't get far, and I've rented Just Cause 2 and is probably second to the Doctor Who Wii game as my worst game this generation.

I've never played Saints Row 2 or Just Cause 2, but I also haven't played the first game in either series and I hate skipping games, so that's a bit annoying. :p

I'd also never played Dead Space 2, but I was never that crazy about the first game. I'm up to chapter three and keep being haunted by a bug where monsters don't spawn in areas where you're supposed to be locked in a room and have to kill all of the monsters for the doors to open. Strangely enough, the doors always open on their own if you stand around for five minutes or so.

The only other person I've found with the same problem had to restart the game to fix the bug. That would only mean replaying two hours, but that's still two hours of a game I'm just going through the motions with. Maybe I'll just deal with the lack of monster ambushes. Sure makes the game easier, at any rate!

Edit: Never mind, started over. Only got five minutes into chapter 3 before getting stuck in another room where monsters wouldn't spawn (they sure were making a lot of noise from somewhere outside the map, though), so this was completely ruining the game for me.
