Retro_Link Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Some nice effort has gone into those controls! Think this will be a tough choice for many, between awesome graphics or immersive controls [providing they work properly!]. Atm, the Wii version is probably winning it for me!
blender Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 no yoda = fail (however, the new soul calibur which isnt coming to wii which i guess is why we get dual mode on our versi0on)
DCK Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Looks real promising! Nice controls and it doesn't look half bad either.
Deathjam Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 I plan on getting a ps3 in the near future but damn if I had it now and had to make a choice, would probably break the bank and get both >.<
Fandango Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Graphics look decent enough, though I dunno will the force controls be a big enough oush for me to get the game. PS3 version looks really stunning, guess I'll just wait for impressions of the two games to come out before making my move.
Hellfire Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Im probably gonna get this version and the 360 one :P If it's any good of course
Strange Cookie Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 Hmm, looks more promising than I had dare to think. The force is stro... No! Must... resist... clichés! Still it's a long way between what's written on paper and to make it work. It certainly looks the part, but I want to see it moving. Ah, we truely are the generation spoiled by the net. I'll be keeping a close eye on this one.
dazzybee Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 I would much rather get the wii version, but if its naff then the PS3 version for me
Guest Maase Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 Wii version is the best for me, that was kinda what i expected when buying the Wii :X
Hellfire Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 This is from a guy from Krome over at NeoGaf: Play the game then I'll be happy to hear all complaints about the Wii version being some kind of suck because we did the bulk of the work for the PS2. And I'll pass that on to the Wii team that added the hires textures, normal maps, depth of field, motion control AND the entire Duel mode with it's new levels maps. I'm sure they'd LOVE to hear how they're shafting you after putting in that effort into the Wii version.
The fish Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 Hmm, nice to see it's not just "quick, stick motion controls onto the PS2 version", and that they've not only put in intuitive controls, but also upgraded graphics et al.
Helmsly Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 This is from a guy from Krome over at NeoGaf: Sounds very promising
darksnowman Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 We'll see what the finished product is like when the game launches on Sept 19th.
Jamba Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 Didn't really look like there was normal mapping from the sceens... but yeah good news. I hope that this turns into a really great Wii game, I really do.

... Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 This is from the 10th of April, so I'm sure most of you have read it already, but since it's not posted or discussed here, here goes the hands on from IGN: http://wii.ign.com/articles/865/865776p1.html Bozon says the controls work great and that it's definitely a Wii game to keep an eye on.
Platty Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 Yeah looks good to me too. Will defo be getting it being the big star wars fan that I am
Noku Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 Yeah looks good to me too. Will defo be getting it being the big star wars fan that I am No shizzle? Would've picked this one over the other consoles' versions should I have owned them. That Duel-Mode alone looks more fleshed out than Super Dragonball Tenkaichi Budokai Sparkling! 5264 Kamehameha Edition, if you ask me.
Jamba Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 Damn it's going to be very hard to chose which one to get now. Duel mode might swing it though. If the game in general handles well on all platforms then I dont think that I'm going to be to botherd about getting it for a prettier version alone.
D_prOdigy Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 Duel (Vs.) Mode has just been demoed. Interestingly, instead of piping my interest for the game, any hope I DID have has just been diminished looking at this video: http://www.g4tv.com/xplay/videos/21570/XPlay_Exclusive_Star_Wars_The_Force_Unleashed_for_Wii.html
blender Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 it looks like red steel wooden clubbing weilding mode. Also it shares the stab dunctionality. lukes jacket looks like a marsemellow. FAIL
