Tellyn Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Who's developing it? Nintendo or a second/third party?
Cube Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Who's developing it? Nintendo or a second/third party? Nintendo EAD.
welsh_gamer Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Cool. Sounds much better than I thought it would. I had asumed it would only include the basic Wii Play shooting gallery style game(s), but I am very pleased to be proven incorrect. Nice boxart too. Is it just me, or does the Wii Zapper look somewhat diffrent from the E3 images?
Tellyn Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Nice boxart. And is it just me or have they edited a Twilight Princess art image for the logo (I'm talking about Link)?
Retro_Link Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Nice boxart. And is it just me or have they edited a Twilight Princess art image for the logo (I'm talking about Link)? That's what I originally thought, but if they have, it's the one piece of Link artwork I can't find!I think surprisingly it's a new image!
Gizmo Posted September 21, 2007 Author Posted September 21, 2007 It's free with the zapper isn't it?Like the Wii-motes free with Wii Play. Yeah, but I'm already planning on getting one of, if not both, RE:UC and MoH:H2. Considering I have 2 Wiimotes, I don't need a third too urgently.
Retro_Link Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Yeah, but I'm already planning on getting one of, if not both, RE:UC and MoH:H2. Considering I have 2 Wiimotes, I don't need a third too urgently. Can't see this game being sold on it's own, just like Wii Play isn't.So you'd have to get one of the other games without the zapper bundle.
Zechs Merquise Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 I'd never have thought we'd see a Zelda FPS lol!
Falcon_BlizZACK Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 You know...Nintendo always know how to pull in the guys sitting on the fence. I thought little of this...But this actually looks good and if the game features different parts of Hyrule or even new parts that would be great...Yeah, I'll buy this. I'd never have thought we'd see a Zelda FPS lol! I'd say its actually quiet a natural transsition since we have the ability to go in FPS mode in the main games, even while moving.
flameboy Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 well nice enough box I guess....give us an EU date damn it!
Serebii Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 First screens, apparently from Nintendo Power
nekunando Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 ..I think it's looking nice enough No doubt it will be in my collection sooner rather than later
DCK Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 Looks like we're re-entering the Temple of Time.
triforcemario Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 Looks like a more linear, no story-line version of Twilight Princess :P
The-chosen-one Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 it think ill get it i only want to see how it turns out
Retro_Link Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 haha, What's with the Goron's targets!! They're strong and all, and no doubt can take a lot of pain... but that's just asking for it!! Gorons: > >
UziT Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 You know, they could have still stuck with his normal Bow & Arrow.....
Dante Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 Every area from the game is in it... Snowpeak Ruins. Hyrule Field (Bridge of Eldin is in this part). Ordon Village. The Lost Woods. Kakariko Village. Hidden Village. Lake Hylia. Gerudo Desert. Zora's River. Death Mountain. Hyrule Castle. This next part is not confirmed, but potentially some of the "temples" will be featured in it, and some of the ranger stages will have boss battles. The game takes place in Twilight Princess' world, though I am not being told if it is "during" the game (alternate universe type thing) or after the game's events. I'm not sure if we can post the images from Nintendo Power (even cropped to look like screenshots) since it is an English publication. Last tidbit: Princess Zelda may be unlockable if you obtain high enough scores in every stage. This is completely unconfirmed as the wording of it from my contact is more of a "tease" than anything solid.

This seems like an awfully comprehensive game for the price tag, and with the zapper bundled, it's a steal! PS3 Time Crisis 4 eat your heart out lol
Owen Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 Looks exactly how i thought it would have looked, which is brilliant! Goron targets?!
Strange Cookie Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 Hey, that looks pretty decent actually! Nice! And do you really have to aim for those Goron's... private parts? They do wear something behind that target, right?
Kirbii Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 the wii zaper should pull of wonders with this game im likeing the multipayer mode seeing as it is a free game and all
Zechs Merquise Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 If I'm correct, the last light gun game Nintendo made was Yoshi's Safari on the SNES! This has been a long time coming, I hope they follow it up with Duck Hunt.
