Konfucius Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 Capcom are doing a poll in their site on which platform the next Megaman game will be released, according to gamefront.de Currently Wii is in the lead and with a little voting in Wii's favour we can keep it that way. The poll is to the right. Everything is in japanese but you can make out the word Wii and a vote button. http://www.capcom.co.jp/rockman20th/
pedrocasilva Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 Wow, it's not even a contest :p I rather have other mature games from capcom though, but still, bring it on.
Meta_Omega Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 Sorry for my ignorance, but what is AC, arcade? How would they print money in a Nintendo-like fashion by releasing an arcade with Megaman-theme?
Slaggis Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 Voted. Always wanted to play a megaman game but never got the chance. This would help.
motion Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 Megaman 1 to 6 on the NES were the only good (ie. fantastic) Megaman games, ever really. Particularly 2 and especially 3.
Ike Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 Better not turn out to be another Battle network game.
Mokong Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 Wow, look at the distance between Wii and everything else...wonder would the same happen if they did a poll on the RE series?
Sméagol Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 Just release VI on VC, I'll buy the rest 2nd hand for my NES & SNES :P.
Petey Piranah Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Wii it is. But based on the results I can still see it going onto PS3 as well unfortunately... Hopefully he'll be in Brawl as well But thats wishful thinking on my part...
Hero-of-Time Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Hopefully he'll be in Brawl as well I hope so aswell mate. The Blue Bomber is so suited for the Brawl universe and seeing as we have seen a 3rd party character in it surely Megaman can now make an apperance. HERE COMES A NEW CHALLENGER!
Petey Piranah Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 I hope so aswell mate. The Blue Bomber is so suited for the Brawl universe and seeing as we have seen a 3rd party character in it surely Megaman can now make an apperance. HERE COMES A NEW CHALLENGER! Samus vs Megaman, the ultimate battle of the arm cannons. The 1st stage of Megaman X could be a perfect battle arena for the game, cars driving by on roads, you have to jump over them while in battle and then occasionally those large droid enemies drop down on the stage and destory a large chunk of the road and also those huge pinkish helicopters shoot at you and you have to avoid the bullets to avoid taking damage similar to the Corneria stage in Melee. For music the stage would feature a reworked version of the music from that 1st stage...
Zechs Merquise Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 I hope if they do this it's a beautifully cell shaded classic Megaman game in 2D played simply with the remote on it's side in true NES greatness! I don't believe the Megaman collection title on the 'Cube ever came to europe did it?
Strange Cookie Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Current standings: 1. Wii: 912 votes 2. PS3: 186 votes 3. Xbox360: 159 votes Need I say more? I'm quite surprised thet the DS doesn't have more votes, though. I always felt that the GBA/DS was the perfect place for Megaman.
Cube Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Need I say more? I'm quite surprised thet the DS doesn't have more votes, though. I always felt that the GBA/DS was the perfect place for Megaman. *points to the 4 or more Megaman games currently in development for the DS*
Hero-of-Time Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 I don't believe the Megaman collection title on the 'Cube ever came to europe did it? Neither the original or the X collection were brought over here, luckly we have the Freeloader so I imported them, brilliant games
Pit-Jr Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 I respect just about everything that comes out of Capcom.... except for post-SNES Mega Man. Whatever console it comes to, i hope its a return to form.
Strange Cookie Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 *points to the 4 or more Megaman games currently in development for the DS* My point exactly. I think it's comfortable right where it is now.
Kurtle Squad Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Neither the original or the X collection were brought over here, luckly we have the Freeloader so I imported them, brilliant games I still haven't got round to doing that.
Zechs Merquise Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Neither the original or the X collection were brought over here, luckly we have the Freeloader so I imported them, brilliant games Damn living in Europe! I hate it when that happens, I really do. I would've snapped both of them up.
pedrocasilva Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Neither the original or the X collection were brought over here, luckly we have the Freeloader so I imported them, brilliant games Starting today we don't anymore, that is... Unless we own a cube or didn't update the firmware.
Hero-of-Time Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 Starting today we don't anymore, that is... Unless we own a cube or didn't update the firmware. I kept my Gamecubes although the Pearl White one doesnt work with the Freeloader either so I just use my Resident Evil 4 one.
