As of Thursday, some of you already know that I am moving to Shetland.

This is a fairly major step for me, I will be living reasonably close to Letty (around 20 miles or so away from her) and shes one of the reasons i'm leaving Halifax.

  • I'm leaving because, quite frankly, i can't stand 3 members of my family.
  • I'm leaving because, no matter how hard i try, i can't get a job around here T_T.
  • and because, i am crazy in love with Letty, with our 1 year aniversarry coming up, i figured its about time i did something about the distance between us.

This however, comes with problems. I'm moving into temporary housing, meaning i'm probably not gunna have an internet connection and the only way i can get online (and more importantly, follow E3 this year) will be by being over at Letty's.

So, i might not be around much from Thursday, for a few weeks, maybe even a couple of months. I'll stay on as an admin for as long as i see fit, it took me a very long time to get to this position and i'm not going to give it up that easily :).

I adore this community and i really like most of the members and staff. I'll be hanging around for a couple more days, mostly packing however (a jack load of stuff).

So, wish me luck!

Very cold. Good luck surviving winter!

also note how Birmingham is in the Midlands and the middle of England-ish. So let us all see that it is not fucking north nor fecking south!!!

Wow, good luck and all the best, man. What does your family think about this?

Everyone in my family really likes Letty, we've been to each others houses alot, so we all know each other apart from our respective parents :p.

That however will change come August :p

Where is Halifax anyway? :S

I didn't know where Folkstone was till september lol Then again the majority of Londoners don't know anything outside of a 20 mile radius of where they were born-poor fellows.

I got bored and checked out Google Earth again, Halifax is quite close Bradford. I've been up to Bradfore but I don't remember going through Halifax.

And it's pretty close to Manchester. The joys of looking at maps.

Awwwwww

Good on ya fella - you're a better man than me - I could never leave the Midlands. I love it too damn much!

All the best for you both. Shetland is meant to be really pretty (when the weather lets up) - I love a bit of rugged terrain me.
