Demuwan Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 I'm sticking with my optimistic 2-0 to the Arsenal score line. Come on you Gunners! P.S http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_3400359,00.html - I hate how United never have any serious injury problems....one of the reasons why they won the title last season and its proving to be case this season as well. I know its so Annoying. They looked vunerable when I watched the Boro match without Vidic and for some part Ferdinand. Luck with injury is something us Gunners haven't had for a while.
Eddage Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 P.S http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_3400359,00.html - I hate how United never have any serious injury problems....one of the reasons why they won the title last season and its proving to be case this season as well. Oh right, I didn't realise that Neville had been playing all season, Park didn't miss the first half of the season either and I must have forgotten about Silvestre screwing up his shoulder...
Demuwan Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 Oh right, I didn't realise that Neville had been playing all season, Park didn't miss the first half of the season either and I must have forgotten about Silvestre screwing up his shoulder... True, but nothing compared to our list this year. When is Ronaldo gonna break a leg. ? (Who am I kidding he'd probably score 40 a season in a wheelchair.)
UziT Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 Oh right, I didn't realise that Neville had been playing all season, Park didn't miss the first half of the season either and I must have forgotten about Silvestre screwing up his shoulder... Saha being out most of the season, Hargo not being fully since we signed him, Fletcher being out now aswell...
kyletherobot Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 You don't need any of those players really though. They are squad players at best with the exception of Hargreaves.
Happenstance Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 Damn that first half was hard to watch. Liverpool started awfully, so damn glad that Hyypia got that goal to bring us back into it. Im sick of Rafa playing players out of position. Apart from that one good run Carra didnt look particularly good in right back, that should be Finnan and Gerrard drifting into the middle all the time leaves us way too open on the left.
kyletherobot Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 Mmmm. That's some good hat eating. Well done mate. : peace:
Happenstance Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 TORRES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dyson Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 Heres me eating my hat. LMFAO, I respect a man who sticks to his word, fantastic stuff. As soon as I heard Arsenal had scored I thought "Oh man, that guy on the forums has to eat some hat :D"
spirited away Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 How i love you Fernando. Lol, what a shocker by Adebayor. Unlike him. I DONT BELIEVE THIS! WHAT A GAME!! Absolutely amazing run by Walcott for the 2nd Aresnal goal. Then a penalty for Liverpool. 3-2 !!!
Happenstance Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 I think my heart is gonna explode watching this match!
spirited away Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 I think my heart is gonna explode watching this match! Lol, same and I don't support either team I'm a Liverpool fan tonight. Also Chelsea 2-0. Edit : BABEL!!!!
Demuwan Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 Dunno what to say really! I feel gutted, shattered and broken but, WELL DONE LIVERPOOL. (coming from a Gunner)
Haden Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 Wow as a neutral that was one of the best games ever to watch! Well done Liverpool and well done Theo for one of the best runs Ive seen in a long time. That hasnt come from ronaldo!
The fish Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 That game was simply amazing. That is all you need to know.
Ramar Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 I'm gonna sound like a bitter tw@t but Babel has robbed us there. That was never a penalty. Hleb's one last week in my opinion wasn't a penalty and the one awarded was definitely not. I'm glad that scummy wanker never joined us. The fourth doesn't seal the win, because it wouldn't have happened if the bastard didn't dive for the third. If we'd have lost 2-1, I'd have held my hands said well played, Liverpool deserved it. But to cheat to the semi final, I hope joke club Chelsea beat you. Yes I'm fucking bitter. Boo hoo.
Ice9 Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 What an absolutely ridiculous penalty. Last week's and saturday's appeals weren't penalties, then that 'foul' was never in a million years. Maybe Arsenal need to learn to commit more subtle drag downs, Toure didn't even have hold of him. Maybe if the crowd weren't refereeing the game in true Old Trafford style.. edit1: I'm gonna sound like a bitter tw@t but Babel has robbed us there. That was never a penalty. Hleb's one last week in my opinion wasn't a penalty and the one awarded was definitely not. Amen.
Monopolyman Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 Shit. I wished I watched the whole thing now. Yay 'pool!
dazzybee Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 I'm so happy! Those dirty gooners winning nothing AGAIN this year Couldn't be happier! Well done Liverpool! Now stop Everton from getting 4th!!!
Gizmo Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 I'm so glad I don't support either of those teams. If that was a Celtic v Rangers game I wouldn't be able to cope.
Emerald Emblem Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 I can't believe it, we got what should be the winner 5 minutes from time and they gave away a penalty 1 minute later. Babel's goal just rubbed salt in the wound. Back to try and take the Premier league back.

I feel stunned still, not angry, or jealous or bitter and I also don't feel robbed. I feel for the players though because for me they deserve it for giving their heart and soul out there. EDIT: It may seem as If I'm not passionate, but believe me I am. I thought If something like this would have happened I would have to commit an act of terrorism to exude my anger/frustration. But at the end of the day it doesn't change anything. Whatever will be will be. I also add Pool fans be gracious in Victory, because if provoked I probably would throw all of that sportsmanship out the window.
Emerald Emblem Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 The point of the matter is that the sheer clumsiness of the tackle lead to the penalty. Be gracious in defeat fellow Arsenal fans.
