Eternal Sonata it isn't!!

I have no idea where this game has come from but there is a trailer for it;

Gametrailers say, 'take flight in a unique title that could make its way to Wii'...

so I don't know if this is a PC demo, or just that the game hasn't recieved a publisher, or what?

I thought the art at the beginning of the trailer was great and maybe it was an adventure game like Hotel Dusk!

...then the in-game started! :blank:

Seriously, what?!!

This doesn't make sense, the game is covered in fog and you play as an allergy bulb...

I can't wait! Really! In a non-sarcastic way. It's hard to make a non-sarcastic post after my first line. Oh well.

That looks amazing. If the game was in the style as the small video at the start it would have looked good, but it looks good as it is.

The music is wonderful, really soothing.

I hate pollen because of hayfever but the game sounds interesting.

Besides, I think the ingame graphics aren't so bad at all...

In fact, these are awesome graphics. Really like the style. And I think the game could be nice.

Waiting for more information.

Does anyone else think this game is about sex?

Yes! That instantly sprang to mind when the opening shot show an "erect" flower and then you see the boy and the girl later on, got my mind wandering.

Could be interesting, it did at first just look like another roll-a-thon but does look to have some other interesting elements like flying etc....

It seems our teaser video on YouTube produced a lot of hype very quickly. That was fun to watch, but we have to be honest with everyone. The game is a currently intended to be a Wii game, but the prototype has been developed on the pc - we have nothing actually running on the Wii yet.

The production period has been under a month so far, and without any further funding we will not be able to continue our work full-time. We are certain that our team has the diverse skills needed to go further, but for now we are not able to do so at the speed we like.

Some people has expressed their worries with the simplistic game play. That is just a result of the very short production period though. We have plenty of ideas on how to expand the game play; for example different pollen sorts with different abilities, more advanced group behavior and coordination between the main pollen and the pollen flock, a richer world with more to explore and a larger story evolving around the poetic fates of the pollens.

And that is it. Please continue to wish for an actual release - then it just might happen someday.

There's a mock-up Wii box art on there, as well as a prototype demo built on the Source Engine.
