Eenuh Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 Haha okay, if I end up doing another colouring job on Photoshop someday, I'll try to remember to take some screencaps and post them here (with some explanation of course). =)
Paj! Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 I painted a mug. The theme; Kate Bush's "Suspended In Gaffa" Quite bad, after looking at the photos, her arm inparticular. And the lyric obviously had no time taken on it. It was therepeutic. And It put me off going back to revision.
chairdriver Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 I love the hair and the green sleeve, but the lyric and handle look kinda bad. Plus, I don't like the pic it was copied from. But overall, it's brilliantly lovely.

Letty Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 I did this dinosaur type thing today in my sketchbook.
drahkon Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 I did this dinosaur type thing today in my sketchbook. Awesome (edit: ok, I looked up "awesome" and realized that it can be translated into German in two ways. One is "great" and the other one is terrible". Of course, I mean "great"). The "dinosaur type thing" looks amazing. How long have you been drawing?

Dante Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Amazing Letty It reminds me of Silent Hill monster.
Ashley Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 He looks oddly friendly. I think its the tiny eye and the expression on his face. Kinda like "HALLO!!" But fantastically drawn
Ashley Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 First time I've made something in ages. Text needs to be worked on but will do that another time. Procrastinated enough for now;
nightwolf Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Aww it's eve! I'd be interested to see it inverted, sort of like when eve and wall-e are flying together with all the sparks everywhere.
Ashley Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Wall-E's in there too :p Its inverted mostly because I wanted something bright coloured. Dark wallpapers aren't my thing. Although if you invert EVE she looks scary. As I say, text needs improving. And going to try and incorporate the other lyrics in a tad better. Am pleased with it though
dwarf Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Anyone make me a wallpaper for the PS3? Plain background featuring Old Snake(MGS4), Sev (Killzone 2), Nathan Drake (Uncharted) and the Power Armour suit from the Fallout 3 front cover. Cheers anyone.
Letty Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Currently working on this at college Its a Bustle, to be worn over a skirt - like the olden days! Obviously its not finished, but it'll be on my dA page when I'm happy with it!
Paj! Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Looks like a joke. I love when fashion looks fun. Just did day 2 of my A2 art...I love it though. I'm using the life model with 3 (and a fourth every so often) girls, but we have some of the best pieces so far no doubt. I love when I actualy get praise, as I usually...don't from the teacher. So I'm basking in it. :p "Fantastic" - A lovely comment. That said, the head isn't "done", and that could ruin it. (I won't post a pic until I get a decent one, but yeah, I'm buzzing!)
Eenuh Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 It's awesome Letty! I especially like the bird in there, heh. =D How long does something like this normally take you? Because it looks like it's very time consuming!
Ganepark32 Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 That's actually amazing Letty. Like doing those kind of drawings myself where you just do a couple of lines/scribbles and then before you know it you have this huge thing appearing on the page because you just keep adding little things to it.
Letty Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 It's awesome Letty! I especially like the bird in there, heh. =D How long does something like this normally take you? Because it looks like it's very time consuming! This one took me about 3-4 hours non stop- its A3. I have actually had a comission to do one like this though, so I think it will take a lot longer
nightwolf Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Letty - lovely work! So instead of spreading them around HWYD I thought I may as well whack them in here and update my post every so often. I'm new to photoshop, in the last couple of weeks or so I've finally gotten round to learning it properly, my uni uses cs3 and for some reason they couldn't put up fireworks for me. I'm usually trying to make signatures, 400 by 100 px. But I've always got a soft spot for vector graphics and I've got a ton of brushes for it now! The last one is supposed to have a border..god knows where that has gone..
