Emasher Posted May 13, 2007 Posted May 13, 2007 (edited) i thought this board has been a little dull latly so i thought a new thread might make more people come here anyway the point of the tread is just to post any creation you've made (images, movies, flash (links obviously) ect.) and with cs3 out its probably a good time to make a thread like this EDIT: Things that should go in this thread: Drawings/Paintings/ect. (Hand or computer drawn) Pictures of art that cannot be scanned in (Sculptures, ect.) Digitally created images Artistically modified photographs Flash Work (Games/Movies/ect.) Non-podcast type films Comics 3D Renders Anything similar That I've missed. (Obviously it should be created by you, if it was created by a friend post it, but mark it clearly to avoid confusion) Things that should not go in this thread: 5 Minute paint drawings (Paint drawings are fine if they have some effort put into them). Photoshops to chance a picture (Give someone a 3rd arm, ect) but add nothing artistic Photographs (There's already a thread for this, otherwise they could go in here). Meme related pictures you have made (unless they're artistic) Anything that you took from somewhere (including a photograph you took) that has one basic photoshop, ect filter applied to it. Anything similar that I've missed. Generally, if its artistic post it, if not, post it somewhere else. Edited August 4, 2009 by Emasher
Cube Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 http://djcube.deviantart.com I need a newer version of 3DS Max.
Fresh Posted May 20, 2007 Posted May 20, 2007 Continuing my obsession with Heroes I've made this: I plan to do one for every character.
Jasper Posted May 20, 2007 Posted May 20, 2007 I'm starting my personal Portfolio website (I hope) sometime soon and this was one of the first of the images made together with my logo for 'Polar Ice, inc.' (it's from a Dutch song, 'Poolijs'). I'm not quite the illustrator myself, but I find it pretty good (I'm skilled at Illustrator, bit i'm not an Illustrator by heart, more of an Graphic Designer). Whaddaya think? By the way, feel free to use the wallpaper. No slicing, though.
Gaijin von Snikbah Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 Thats pretty sweet, it looks very professional. Perhaps a little too complex in some places, but that could be me. Ive been inspired by the iPod commercials and tried my hands at making some cheap ass porn. What do you think?
Letty Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 I dont like how shes standing on the other girl's ankles, but thats a very smooth cut out!
Paj! Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 I love that Spidey swinging around town. *needs to post his own art* *can't*
Emasher Posted May 29, 2007 Author Posted May 29, 2007 just make a few more posts and you'll be able to or do you not no how to anyway this is just a little gif i made
Eenuh Posted May 30, 2007 Posted May 30, 2007 Finished my painting for school (58 x 38 cm I think). We had to do a "family portrait" including at least 7 figures. They were not allowed to look like humans or monsters or other creatures, so pretty abstract. I went with the idea of acrobats, and since that is sort of Asian, I picked bamboo to build the figures. We were only allowed to use three colours to mix, so that was a bit of a challenge (I went for a light yellow, dark olive green and a dark brown); done with acrylics. Pretty weird, but I'm happy enough with the result (especially since it was basically all done in one day). X3

I think it is a really imaginative and creative drawing. I like the way in which the bamboo is intertwined with each other. Brilliant. You're the most talented artist i know.
The Bard Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 Eenuh, you're far too talented. It's kinda unfair o_0.
Bluejay Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 Eenuh, you're far too talented. It's kinda unfair o_0. Precisely, its plain selfish. If you split your talent equally, theres enough for maybe 8 or 9 of us to be great artists. Hogging it all for yourself is just wrong. Sam and Max. I need to use colour more. Digital or pencil? Any good tutorials for basic colouring in photoshop.
Gaijin von Snikbah Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 I think digital would be awesome if you have a tablet. If not then go with the old way.
Bluejay Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 I think digital would be awesome if you have a tablet. If not then go with the old way. No tablet here, no experience in photoshop either. Still I want to at least attempt to colour it digitally. Any tutorials anyone?
