Viruses, I run Avast which is pretty amazing, but unless you download crap from random sites your probally safe just scan everything first. Just not stupid ones that end in .exe. Basically, as long as you get the right release groups (check nForce.nl, totally legal, just has nfo files showing what is out etc.) you'll be fine. Thats exactly what i do aswell, and you cant go wrong doing it that way... well as long as AVG has the latest updates that is... which it should have because it does it automaticly.
