Dude, you've been brownnosin that band for months. They are brilliant though, just taxing to listen to continuously.

I know, I know. Thing is, every time I think I'm over it, I just put Mirrored on again and it melts my face, then i run here squealing about how good it is while I try and stop listening to it all day every day again.

it could be worse though. just imagine if someone spent post after post trying to justify the artistic credability of Avril Lavigne or something! that'd be ridiculous!

lol shit stir. Hope they see this post!

I'm going to the Ben & Jerrys sundae festival tomorrow!

Bands playing are: My federation, Noisettes, Emmy The Great, The hours, The Holloways, The Ordinary Boys and The Proclaimers!!!! and I would walk 500 miles and I would walk 500 more!

Not only that there is fairground rides, activities, a farm and free Ben & Jerrys ice cream ALL DAY!!

All that for £8 not bad eh?

Woo, a fellow fan of a band I like: that's a rarity in these parts...

lol, yeah they are a great band. Their huge in america

On an note almost no-one will care about, I just found an old B-side Avril Lavigne song I've never heard. It's now one of my favourites, it sounds a bit Spanish/country.

There's also a cover of Coldplays Scientist she did (my favourite song ever) which sounds pretty great.

Same here...

I be listening to Every Second Counts. Hey There Delilah is a bonus track.

I like "All That We Needed" alot. I'm not sure which is better, that or the new on your listening too.

I've not heard their first two yet.

Hmm.

A lot of my friends hold the view that British indie (and maybe music in general, but tends to be about indie) is superior to American. And I can see where they're coming at and I do like several British indie bands but frankly I'm sick of hearing about how shit this country is. I don't like this country and I do want to move but can songwriters in this country not think of anything else to sing about?

Anyone care to share in the British vs American indie debate? Or just discuss British indie in general?
