I can't stop listening to Pendulum at the minute! Hopefully I shall soon be getting tickets to see them in November as well, I want to go so much. Anyone else got any opinions on them?

So I'm a bit annoyed... got my e-mail from Radiohead saying they would send me a code in the morning tomorrow. I as wanting to listen to it at midnight! The dark atmosphere and everything makes it nice.

Oh well.

Also, they're releasing the music in 160kbs...

I didn't think anyone else had ever heard of them.

I like some of Bloc Parties stuff, can't say I'm a massive fan mind.

All this scene and indie bollocks just pisses me off, if it's good music to your ears why turn it into a battle of styles

Radiohead's new album.

Thoughts people!

I think they should of kept Arpeggi as it was when they did it live.

Heh, yeah I only know of a few people who listen to them too.

Yeah, coz it's highly uncommon that people would know one of the most famous indie bands ever. :indeed:

Ever the sarcastic.

But really, not many people have actually heard of them. For such a famous indie band...

New Radiohead album is pretty good after first listen, stand out favourite so far is Weird Fishes/Arpeggi, sounds a lot like Stereolab which is ne' a bad thing when it comes to music.

Production is a little strange, Yorke's voice is quite odd on some of the songs and drums seem to dominate the mix on a few occasions. Still, thoroughly enjoyable.

Just got back from seeing Maximo Park in Wolverhampton. Good to see them again, last time was in the upstairs of a pub. Poor Paul had severe food poisoning though and vomited at the side of the stage halfway through the gig. Despite that they still made to the end and through an encore even though he looked on the verge of death and powered by adrenaline alone.

So I wasn't the only person who thought that upon first listen!

I'm on what must be my 10th listen now. I can't get enough of it to be honest. I love love love 15 Step. The kids cheering 'YAAY!' makes me smile every time. :P Bodysnatchers rocks me and is the perfect 1-2 punch with 15 Step. Other favourites are Jigsaw..., Nude (which is GORGEOUS now) and Faust Arp. Getting used to the 'new' Videotape now, after initially being disappointed after hearing the live version so much and expecting an epic crescendo that never happened. But now I appreciate it for what it is.

And I really couldn't pick my favourite Radiohead song. It changes all the time. :heh:

Wish they did a proper studio recording of Big Boots though, that'd definitely be up there...

See to me, that sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.. Maybe not.

I prefer Timbaland personally. (As a producer)

So glad Joni Mitchell's new album got into the UK top 40!

Was going to see Bugz In The Attic, DJ Food & DK & The Herbaliser tonight but feeling a bit too rough. Shame.

Oh, and yes, that concept album sounds amazing.
