Some of my mate WoW nerds use words like 'plx', 'nubs' and 'lol' in real life.

Come on people. YOU'RE FRICKING DUTCH.

I heard someone say 'OMG' today (separate letters), which is strange enough since we don't speak English. Still it was sorta as a joke. No text speak crap for us, as far as I know.

'lol' is a word in dutch ;)

Yeah, and it actually means 'fun'. Thing is I can't stand it because I know they don't mean it that way :heh:

By the way your language knowledge scares me.

Arrgh, you bastard, it burns!

I've not noticed anyone using this kind of stuff in real life. It would just sound a bit daft. Although I do call people noobs and say pwn in a piss taking ironic way sometimes when gaming with friends. Generally I just try and keep clear of the whole shebang.

The only thing I say is lol but not in real life, only on teamspeak with my online gaming nerds... I mean friends  . I hate that I say it though, I started just as a joke to make fun of the other people that were saying but then it became habit.
