Oli1983uk Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Just got home from work after driving for an hour in it, I got home and took a few pics, Take some of where you are. Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7XmOGlARsZg
Guest Jordan Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 No snow here yet, we'll get it in around 4 hours.
The3rdChildren Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 It's snowing here too. This is a pic I snapped out the kitchen window of the garden where the snow is actually pretty damned deep... and still coming down. Untouched beauty.
Oli1983uk Posted February 8, 2007 Author Posted February 8, 2007 Its a couple of inches thicker then when I took the pics now.
Aimless Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 I haven't looked outside, but my window's ajar and I can hear rain. There goes my chances of being snowed in and unable to work tomorrow.
gaggle64 Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Nope nothing here yet. We're forecast for it today and tomorrow on the BBC five day, but the current 24 hour forecast looks clear. Go figure.
Oli1983uk Posted February 8, 2007 Author Posted February 8, 2007 Update from my house just after over an hour of snow: good few inches now! think the pics come out ok for being taken at around 5 in the morning.
The Peeps Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Got snow here but it's about a centimetre deep and we probably wont get any more until next winter now I'd take a pic but I don't have a camera, only a webcam and it doesn't reach the window hehe I love the way everything looks in the snow though, pure white goodness
killthenet Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Ohh, I feel like virgin again. There really is nothing like sitting on your balls in the snow.
The3rdChildren Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Jesus, the snow is deep. Really quite impressive to see it unspoiled like this.
The Peeps Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Managed to get a pic, hope the squirrels don't find it too cold (there are 2 that live in my tree )
gaggle64 Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Ohh, I feel like virgin again. There really is nothing like sitting on your balls in the snow. Uhhh... I'll just take your word for it.
Ashley Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Only an inch or so here. My assistant manager said where he lives (about 15 miles away) theres about five so hopefully it will shift that way. Although with the snow, and with it being the town's market day (even if its not open, most people will avoid) I'd imagine the store will take about £5 today. Whoop whoop!
The Peeps Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Nevermind, have some of this Remember when you were young and used to think snow actually fell in great blobs like that? Or was it just me.... And it just started snowing again, I almost don't want to look incase it stops.
Letty Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Theres no more snow here than yesterday Hopefully it'll start again some time today
Whizkid Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Oh yeah I get the day off school. I dont :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:
Strider Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 The school is open, but stuff it. It hardly ever snows in england and i want to make the most of it.
Atomic Boo Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Yayness! schools out for winter. Or at least today anyway. There seems to be a lot more snow where i am than where the BBC is fussing about. Anyone up for an s.fight? it is a bit stupid how the country breaks down over the smallest bit of snow though. Ah well, i guess we should be thankful of Britains grit laying problems.
Cube Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 No, its raining... Can we swap forms of precipitation at our locations?
Strider Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 I woke up at 7am and it wasn't even snowing, went down stairs put tv on had some breakfast and it was already settled. I win the bet between Moogleviper and me
