@BowserBasher I can't believe that you fell for the walkoff Final Smash bait twice
-
Right. You guys make a start, I'll probably be joining in at about 20:30
-
Guys! You can’t do a Kirby music tribute without mentioning C.R.O.W.N.E.D, that’s not allowed! Oh, you want more electric guitars you say? Well then, the Rainbow Curse arrangement has got you covered
-
Yeah, I’m in tonight
-
Real Kirby players beat True Arena with Hammer. You know it to be true
-
Only lamos use archer though
-
Continuing this... The True Arena in Kirby's Adventure Wii/Kirby Returns to Dreamland is a nightmare; thanks to That One Boss (You know who...) Speaking of which, Meta Knightmare Ultra is a solid challenge as well to get a decent time on too. And then there's Extra Mode in the original Kirby's Dreamland... Which rachets up the base game's difficulty from a 1 straight up to 11 on a dime! Oh and Kirby Triple Deluxe? You get not one, not two but THREE extra super bosses to fight in its True Arena! And they will break you!

More than anything else, I just want the abilty to play PS1, PS2, PSP and PS3 games natively on a modern console. If Sony offered them up for sale like they used to back in the PS3 era? I'd buy a PS5 straight away. Anything that would let me just retire the ol' PS3 that's still hooked up to my living room TV would earn my money more or less immediately.

The difficulty will come in the optional challenges and post-game stuff. Just getting to the end of a Kirby game is easy, but mastering it is always very difficult! Oh and I am 100% certain that you will need to find all the hidden Waddle Dees/optional missions in order to get access to the True Final Boss and True Ending... I know Kirby, I know what's gonna happen lol. And undoubtedly, that True Final Boss (and the inevitable unlockable modes you get from beating it) is gonna be soul meltingly hard, in true Kirby fashion

Holy cow! the Sword Treasure trial's par time is ridiculously harsh! I've tried more than half a dozen times now and still haven't cracked it! Edit: Just beat it! Found a sneaky way to skip the boss' second phase and kill it much more quickly!
-
Absolutely pathetic.
-
Also, calling it now, the PS1, PS2 and PS3 games will be made playable via cloud streaming; not actual native hardware emulation.
-
If their new first party games don't appear on day 1 of release on this service? Then it's no Game Pass competitor. End of.
-
Sorry we got caught basically. I fully expect them to turn the heat up on this boiling frog more slowly over time until we get back up to where we were before (and beyond) though. We've already seen the mask come off and we already know their true intentions. If I were a GT fan, I wouldn't touch this game with a barge pole.

Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition (Out Now!)
Dcubed replied to darksnowman's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I'd be shocked if it didn't. Pretty much all of S-E's remasters (outside of the FF Pixel Remasters) let you select the original or newly arranged soundtracks. If they don't? Then people will riot, and rightly so. Chrono Cross' soundtrack is absolutely superb in its original form! -
Some proper quality clips tonight! Great stuff as always!

Vote: The Greatest Smash Bros Character Reveal Trailer Of All Time

That bastard stole my thread idea!! Damn you Sakuraaaaaaiiii!! -
It's nice to see that the classic Nintendo-way of making games is alive and well
-
Cheers! Just nabbed it

That's a great interview! Some really interesting game design talk throughout! I freaking LOVE this stuff!! I had never even considered this! Their solution for collision detection and hit box registration is really inginious... and sounds very abuseable for speedrunners! In short, they use a combination of proximity to the enemy, combined with camera position to create dynamically shifting hitboxes that give enough leeway so that the player "hits" the enemy if it looks like they should from the camera angle that they're facing towards at the time... This is SO getting abused by speedrunners! There's also an original language for fans to decipher... and even MORE insane Kirby Lore to discover! Can't wait!

They couldn't even be bothered to fit his full face on the damn thing lol!

The 2016 movie absolutely was not well received... The second one in 2021 was also a huge commercial failure... resulting in a ~$20 million LOSS in comparison to its $185 million budget. And that is against worldwide gross! Its domestic sales (the most important factor, considering that less profit is made on international box office revenue) was a pitiful $56 million! Cursed franchise is cursed.

This is ridiculous! It'll be coming out almost EIGHT WHOLE YEARS since Rocksteady's last full game! What the hell happened during this game's development!?!? I can't imagine that it's gonna be successful at this point; what with it launching after two critical & commercially panned Suicide Squad movies now? Why are WBIE still pushing along with this game at this point!?

Nice to hear that the technical side is solid this time around (1080p Docked with DRS down to 810p at the worst, mostly 720p Portable with minor DRS, and a rock solid 30FPS); was very disappointed with Star Allies in that regard. Also really glad to hear that it has proper 5.1 surround sound support. Drives me absolutely nuts when Switch games don't support it!
