  1. God I hope this one happens. This game being unreleased is perhaps the single greatest travesty of the Wii era. I mean... it's not like there isn't a sodding Rogue Squadron movie coming out or anything...
  2. My thoughts exactly, all this controversy could've been easily avoided if SEGA just had the one SKU for €39.99. This strategy was stupid with Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania and it's even more stupid now. All it does is make SEGA look greedy and money grubbing.
  3. Soleil and Rocket Knight Adventures died for @Glen-i's sins...
  4. That’s amazing @BowserBasher! I didn’t even know that you could Pirahna Plant boost through a blue shell! I just love the way that your Mii looks around all confused after it happens
  5. Oh boy… I’ve got some class clips tonight… And no, I’m not even remotely sorry @Glen-i. You deserved every bit of that video
  6. Those are some genuinely nice visuals. Looks like a solid effort that should please Digimon fans
  7. Devolver on-point as always
  8. Sounds like they’re gearing up for a delay to 2023… Wonder what Sony’s big 2022 Xmas game is gonna be now if GOW:R does indeed get pushed back…
  9. That sounds a hell of a lot like Sonic Delta… I hope that’s the case, because Sonic Delta is a ton of fun!
  10. Interesting that Headcannon only worked on the S3&K port… Guess that means that SEGA ported the Headcannon/Christian Whitehead versions of Sonic 1, 2 and CD internally? Strange.
  11. “Additional Music Tracks from the Megadrive titles”? Are they charging extra for the original MJ Sonic 3 tracks!? Why even bother with this money grubbing? Just put the one SKU out there for €39.99 and be done with it! And all that extra stuff smacks of stuff being ripped out of the game and sold to you separately; like menu character animations and camera controls? Seriously? How pathetic!
  12. Wow Nintendo... You just did this game proper dirty... Here's hoping that LAL gets shuffled forward or back... or else it's gonna get crushed by Xenoblade 3
  13. I’m assuming this means that Splatoon 3 must’ve been delayed then… Why else would they be pulling XB3 forward so much!? This is very obviously Splatoon 3’s original release date (both previous titles were summer releases). Something must’ve gone horribly wrong with that game, and so they’re scrambling to fill the release hole by pulling XB3 forward. Calling it now.
  14. Yeah, I'd buy the crap out of that; and I don't even like Mass Effect! 64 Bits always does amazing videos of games I wish I could buy for real...
  15. Very good video. I'm not a GT fan by any measure (Always been an arcade racing guy myself), but that was a great watch and super interesting! Had no idea that they pulled a Sonic CD with GT1 & GT2! I can sort of see why they felt the need to do this at the time mind you... Wipeout was huge during the PS1 era, and that was in no small part due to its licensed music; while the Japanese soundtracks were somewhat out of sync with the music that was popular during the late 90s... though the move comes across as a bit cringeworthy nowadays? I can certainly see the logic for the time. I can't believe that those cars are only 150 odd polygons though! That's crazy low, even for the time! Remarkable artistry on demonstration there! And that UI is still remarkable modern; doesn't feel out of place compared even to GT7! They really nailed the series signature look, feel and identity right away! Really nice that they give some historical context with comparisons to other contemporary releases too; you can really see how GT1 & GT2 especially looked like they came from the future in comparison to the competition! Looking forward to the follow-up episodes
  16. My turn! Thoroughly lovely game! HAL have absolutely succeeded with making a transition to 3D gameplay here; in fact, I'd argue that it's the most graceful transition that any Nintendo franchise has made going from 2D to 3D, as the gameplay feels like a completely natural follow up to The Modern Kirby Trilogy (Return to Dreamland/Triple Deluxe/Planet Robobot) and Star Allies. Even the likes of Mario 64, OoT and Metroid Prime saw substantial changes to the core gameplay & game design structure compared to their respective 2D entries; but not-so with Forgotten Land, instead feeling exactly like how you would expect a 3D Kirby game to play! More detailed and spoilerific thoughts are listed below... be warned, the following will contain unfettered spoilers for not just Forgotten Land, but for many other games in the series too... Overall though, this game was a winner from start to finish. After the somewhat lackluster Star Allies? (outside of its rather fantastic DLC that really saves the game), Forgotten Land is a great return to form for the pink blob. It's a completely natural and effortless feeling transition into 3D gameplay and it's a brilliant handcrafted adventure of the kind that I crave so badly! Though I probably wouldn't put it quite on the same tier as the Modern Kirby Trilogy or Superstar, it's certainly a tier above the Dark Matter Trilogy and Star Allies... so... I'd say that it's in the same tier as Kirby's Adventure/Nightmare in Dreamland (NES/GBA) and Amazing Mirror, that sounds about right to me. I do hope that we see more 3D Kirby titles that feature more enemy & copy ability variety that double-down on the more Bayonetta-esc Stylish Action combat that we see here. Fantastic game, very happy with it! Long live 3D Kirby!
  17. And that's Radical Dreamers finished! Thoughts below under the spoiler tag... In short, Radical Dreamers is a thoroughly enjoyable side-story with an interesting story that is told in a genuinely unique and compelling fashion. I never thought that a survival horror text adventure would've been an appropriate way to follow up the original CT; but it offers a far more compelling follow-on story from CT than Chrono Cross ever did! But yeah, absolutely well worth playing, I can't quite think of another game quite like it. It's kind of like what would happen if Zero Escape: 999 and Resident Evil had a baby, absolutely not what I was expecting, but I thoroughly enjoyed my time with it! Oh, and Chrono Cross' story and storytelling is absolute wank; the fact that a Japanese-only SNES Satellaview text-adventure made on a positively miniscule budget completely shows it up in that regard is absolute testament to how complete and utter wank it is!
  18. Definitely not my finest hour, but I scored 7 disgusting walkoff KOs in one match; and that’s all that matters
  19. That was a beautiful disaster. I swear, I have never played that badly at Mario Golf before! Ahh, that was great fun! We'll have to do Mini Golf and Speed Golf next time
  20. Personally, I’m more bothered by that Charizard pose; what the hell is it supposed to be doing? The Thriller dance!?
  21. Radical Dreamers has a fantastic soundtrack. Mitsuda’s sophomore effort is a superb one that is filled with melancholy that is accompanied by a thoroughly pensive atmosphere throughout the game. It really surprised me how much the game resembles the survival horror genre, much more so than a traditional RPG like Chrono Trigger; and finally getting the chance to play the game really helps me to understand the soundtrack much better now… Music tracks such as Gale now make sense here; the chaotic nature of the song makes absolute perfect sense as a scramble for survival against an unforseeable and sudden terror! I’d even argue that its use in Chrono Cross is somewhat misplaced as a regular battle theme now… And I’d also argue that the SNES version of Gale sounds much better than its PS1 counterpart too But yeah. Radical Dreamers’ soundtrack is short, but really awesome! It’s a great Survival Horror score that is steeped in melancholy!
  22. That’s a damn good deal you got there @lostmario! That complete boxed copy of Pokémon Stadium alone easily fetches £50-60 on its own! Nice job
  23. So I’ve been playing Radical Dreamers… and it’s really rad! It’s almost like a survival horror text adventure game! It does actually have a combat system, with narrative based attacking/defending/dodging mechanics… as well as hidden HP and Relationship stats that determine how the story progresses and whether you live or die! You can’t actually see your HP in the game, but you can actually die in combat or other scripted sequences that present danger; and you can recover HP too by finding certain items or making certain choices! There’s locked doors & keys to find, story beats and lore to uncover as you explore the mansion, It’s very Resident Evil esc… but as a text adventure! I really like it! Has a proper creepy atmosphere throughout, with a somber tone and a very pensive score that is punctuated by music in certain sections that’ll be familiar to anyone who has played Chrono Cross (Speaking of which, it’s pretty neat hearing Chrono Cross music in its original SNES form!). Super happy to finally be able to play this game after so so long! It’s always looked like such an interesting game, and it definitely lives up to its novel reputation. Thoroughly enjoying this one, though ironically, its subtitle “Le Trésor Interdit“ is true no more!
  24. They are, but they surely can’t have been working on just Sonic Frontiers for all of this time!?
  25. Indeed. Makes you wonder what the hell Sonic Team have been doing all this time!? (Apart from Puyo Puyo Tetris 2; which is basically just a glorified mission pack for the first PPT that originally came out all the way back in 2014). Actually, SEGA's internal game development production has fallen off a cliff in general since 2017. They basically don't make anything internally anymore outside of RGG studio now (and even they are poised to fall apart now with Nagoshi's recent departure and the concomitant poaching of staff by Netease).
