  1. The game is worth the price. Absolutely fully deserving of a retail release.
  2. Wii U version!? Yep I'm happy now
  3. I highly doubt it. RE:Revelations for Wii U was just announced and I have no doubt that they'll be showing that off tomorrow...
  4. Well that's one of the Nintendo Direct announcements ruined! Glad to see that it's getting a Wii U version after all. It's the only platform where a port actually makes sense (since it's the only console that can properly replicate the controls) Very good news
  5. Right on cue! Time to knock our socks off Iwata! (and for Shibata to show off a new Balance Board controlled F-Zero game and Miyamoto's new Mermaid IP PLZ!) Also Nintendo reviving the old Rareware and gathering all the lost wayward souls back together!
  6. Good stuff. NOE will surely do a much better job of promoting it than those muppets at Konami would That trailer is old old old though.
  7. Not really, but that's why they'd offer two different models At least that way they can advertise the fact that it plays your old PS3 games...
  8. Hard drive corruption becomes a feature and not a bug :p
  9. And so the list of Nicalis games that are out in the US and not EU expands even more...
  10. I bet that they will have PS3 BC... but you'll either have to pay extra for a model that has the PS3 hardware inside, or get the cheaper model that plays PS3 games via Gaikai streaming.
  11. The true hardcore gamer's machine
  12. NO FUCKING WAY!!! Never in a million years did I expect it to get localised! GOOD GOING NAMCO YOU MAGNIFICENT BASTARDS! I hope that the game is better than Namco X Capcom though. From what I've seen of the game it looks to be all fan service and no substance...
  13. Well if the (freshly leaked!) Durango specs are anything to go by... one of those two consoles will be very powerful (if still decidedly mid-range on the PC scale) at least...
  14. Had a patent you mean. It has expired now, which is why Sony stole the internal design for the Vita's D-pad (It's also the reason why it's much better than any previous PS D-pad too!) BTW, seems like the full specs have leaked! http://www.vgleaks.com/world-exclusive-durango-unveiled/ The specs seem surprisingly modest actually! Doesn't seem that far ahead of the Wii U really... (and quite a bit behind the PS4 in terms of GPU grunt - though they seem to share the exact same CPU) It's actually quite refreshing to see a non-Nintendo console manufacturer not go overboard with the hardware spec! Including a Kinect 2.0 and a hard drive in every model (as is suggested by these specs) no doubt have eaten into the console's silicon budget... The gap between the PS4 and 720 should make ports very interesting. It having a WiFi direct chip is also very nice. It means that it'll be able to connect to wireless devices locally while also being able to stay connected to the Internet over WiFi at the same time (Wii U has a WiFi Direct chip as well BTW) Also a HDMI in!? I smell DVR functionality! (As I had foreseen many moons ago :p)
  15. This week haul (and it's a good one!) PICROSS!!! Any idea what this NSB update does?
  16. Capcpom will never live those down Shane Kim "announcing" RE5 for the 360 1 year late is another classic gaming cockup that people will continue to make jokes about forever
  17. I know it's not Metroid, but Paper Mario Sticker Star is very similar to Super Metroid in that it is completely bereft of handholding and hints...
  18. Yay! The update is out! http://Https://twitter.com/ShinenGames/status/292777746118090752 Fixes the leaderboards flag issue (the one where the flags appear on top of the leaderboard position) and the strange control problems that happen when your Gamepad loses its wireless signal
  19. Interesting... Seems that Nintendo may be dropping the business address requirement for indie developers looking to release games on the eShop! http://purenintendo.com/2013/01/20/nintendo-to-remove-office-space-restriction-for-indie-developers/ This would mean that (literal) garage developers could release their games on the eShop!
  20. It takes some time for it to appear. Should do so within 24 hours (did for my digital copy of Nintendo Land) It being the weekend might also have some effect...
  21. If our Q1 list looks anything like the US one, I will be buying more retail games in March-April alone than I bought in the entire year of 2012 combined! That's not too shabby No matter how you slice it, they have a fantastic lineup this year (A GODDAMN NEW PIKMIN AND LUIGI'S MANSION AND A TRUE 3D POKEMON!? HOLY SNAPPLECAKES!!!) And the best part is, that's just for starters!
  22. They said that they had "no plans to release them commercially", that doesn't mean that will remain the case forever... That being said, the way that they're treating the VC is simply criminal. They could release 3-4 games a week and still not run out of games to release even 6-7 years from now!
  23. I think that some of the Capcom Unity mods said that they were considering doing a bundle of the two versions on Capcom's own online store... No idea whether or not they're gonna do it at retail or not though (but either way it's up to Capcom, so who knows!)
  24. Please be a Luigi VS Waluigi mode!!!
  25. Yup. Still do it all the time (was so disappointed that they took it out of the GBA version!) This was the first game I ever played BTW, back when I was 3 and it's still one of my favourites in the series (though NSMB Wii now holds the number 1 slot for me) The sights, the sounds and, most importantly, the secrets were absolutely awe inspiring for me as a kid! I can't count the amount of times I've ploughed through this game and still find myself smiling like a moron every time I successfully fly underneath Cheese Bridge I also have my childhood copy of the game signed by the Shigster himself (as if you couldn't tell that it's special to me!)
