[VIMEO][/VIMEO]It does seem a bit stupid when you consider that you can actually use a NNID to actually create a My Nintendo account and that it is actually used for Nintendo's own social network (Miiverse); yet you can't use it for Miitomo. They're probably afraid of people making friends on Miiverse and then giving out personal details via Miitomo (which wouldn't be monitored by moderators like Miiverse is) though I suppose. I would imagine that the last thing they want is another Flipnote 3D/Nintendo Letter Box situation... Facebook & Twitter though? Not Nintendo's problem.

Yeah, I can understand why, given that DSiWare games were only ever designed to run off internal memory and not SD Card. I know that Advance Wars Days of Ruin took up more or less the entire internal memory on its own when it was released in Japan! (That was really cool though; seen as how it never got a release there originally, despite actually having a full Japanese script locked away in the US/EU versions).

First trailer's out, and we have a release date! June 28th in both Europe and the US! Digital only in Europe It's also getting a PC release on Steam as well, out of nowhere!

Gold coin conversion rate seems the same as the Nintendo Network Premium Programme... But the games seem to cost more than they otherwise would if you could just exchange your coins for cash, so it's not quite as good as it used to be sadly... Really? They released Wario Ware Touched as a DSi game for this? That's really weird, especially when the game is already out on the Wii U VC, why not just offer that version? What a shame that it's confined to your 3DS' internal memory. There's basically no space there at all.

Miifoto definitely has... potential

Ha ha! Well at least they used an actual pic instead of a stock one I suppose

Speaking of people coming back to make levels... I am actually gonna get an evening to myself for once! So I am coming back to make a new level or two tonight!!!! (And I'll get a chance to play your new levels I've not been able to get round to yet ) I am not going in with any specific ideas, but it has been about 3 months since I last got a chance to play Mario Maker, so I'm coming back with a fresh mind (and not one, but TWO sets of updates I've not played with yet) and we'll see what crazy concoctions I come up with GET HYPE!!

Most carts will have that. It's nigh on impossible to find something like that in absolute pristine, brand new condition. Even the most well kept game will probably have some kind of very small indent or scratch on the label like the ones you see in that image. You do just have to be realistic about it. These N64 carts can be up to 20 years old, so you'd expect some form of marking on it, however small; unless it's still sealed and has never been opened of course.

EhHEH! I lied... I'ma gonna finish EARLY this Thursday, so I'ma IN! and I'MA gonna win! WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

The cabling situation is pretty hilarious as well... I doubt that I'm the only one who's reminded of this when looking at PS VR's wiring... Best bit is that that diagram doesn't include the PS Camera in that as well, so there's actually even more wiring required than it suggests
-
Price is about what I was expecting, but not including the Move or the PS Camera is pretty sneaky...

It is a bit weird isn't it? I suppose it could be that these people are buying console bundles, stripping them of the bits they want/need and then are flipping the remaining bits back onto eBay...

Thankfully I've been lucky with Dreamcast games myself, but I can imagine that they're more fragile than normal CDs, due to the fact that they're a customised version of the format, with more dimples pressed onto each disc for that extra disc capacity. You know what's really bloody fragile though? PS2! PS2 discs are a bloody nightmare! PS1 discs aren't even as bad as them! (I swear that Sony are just super bloody cheap when it comes to their disc pressing - PS3 aside, since BD discs are much more durable by their nature - and don't get me started on their hardware reliability! They're by far the worst!!!) Xbox originals are generally fine. The hardware is reliable and the discs are durable enough, much moreso than PS2. Xbox 360 is a very different matter... I don't really need to say much about the hardware (as I'm sure you all know the stories surrounding them), but the consoles have a tendency to scratch the discs through standard use as well! (good going Microsoft!). Thank God for the HDD install option! Do it on all of your games without exception! (the faster loading times are reason enough, but it also goes a long way towards preserving the state of the discs as well) You want to be careful about Disc Rot though. From what I hear, Dreamcast discs are more prone to the evils of disc rot than other console discs (the crappy cases that let UV light in don't help either!) Saturn games aren't bad really since they're just bog standard CDs and CD manufacturing was a mature process even back then (why Sony chose to use their dodgy black CDs for PS1 and, worse even still, the dreaded blue discs for PS2 is beyond me!); though I have had some issues with them... My copy of Panzer Dragoon Saga has a problem with the 4th disc sadly... The security portion of the disc is damaged and I have to use the disc swap trick to get around that (thankfully it works just fine after you do that, because I am not buying another copy!) I would say that the Saturn is a much more reliable console than the DC overall though (not to mention a LOT more quiet!). It's a pretty nice machine really I've never had a dead cart though, or a broken Nintendo console game disc either for that matter :p

It depends on what version you had physically. All Wii U games share the same save files. So you can use the same save file across both physical and digital copies just fine with all Wii U games... BUUUUUUTTTTT... NSLU is a special case because there is actually a standalone disc version and if that's the version you played before (rather than the combined NSMBU/NSLU disc version), it wont actually work with the NSMBU/NSLU DLC download because it's technically a different game as far as the Wii U is concerned.

AFAIK the graphics are identical to the arcade version (which also has the same soft look, as far as I can tell from the images/videos of it online), so I wouldn't bank on it necessarily coming to the NX console; certainly it's not indicative of anything. With the LAN mode in place and them going out of their way to have the arcade controller made for Wii U, it's pretty clear that TPC want to see the Wii U version used for the forseable future in tournaments like EVO.

BTW, I didn't bother to point this out in the review because most people probably won't care, but I'm pretty sure that the game is running in sub 720p resolution for the 3D elements. The 3D visuals are noticeably softer looking than the 2D elements (which are probably full 720p) and while it usually looks fine, some of the Synergy Burst moves can look noticeably jaggy (Tekken Tag Tournament 2 on Wii U did the same thing, so it probably runs in the same resolution as that game did). It's a fantastic looking game and it runs like a dream outside of Local Gamepad play (which runs at a solid 30FPS), but it is a very soft looking game as well. Personally it doesn't bother me, but I like the idea of beating Digital Foundry to the punch here, so I figured I'd mention it here :p

It would work like in Street Fighter 4. You sit in a lobby together where you get to spectate matches and chat with other players while you watch. It's designed to try and simulate the experience of gathering around an arcade machine. You do get into matches quicker this way the way that Pokken does it, but a lot of players like the communal experience that comes with lobbies; so it's a shame that there isn't an option for it here. Before you lynch me here, I do think it's a good game and the online netcode performance is terrific (as expected from Namco at this point). But I do feel that the online feature set is rather anemic; it's functional and nothing more. I am impressed with the LAN mode options available though. I wasn't expecting there to be multiple ways of hooking up two Wii Us in place and I will be looking forward to giving them a try when the game actually comes out The fact that it unlocks everything automatically (just for that LAN session, not permanently mind you) is very nice as well. I know from personal experience that TOs are gonna really appreciate that (Smash 4 is a nightmare in that regard and I've seen how frustrated they get over the way they have to ensure that everything is unlocked on everyone's Wii Us being used).

Hopefully that includes mine BTW, if any of you have any specific questions (or if you want me to check anything for you) I'll gladly answer them/do so! : peace:
