Get God of War 1&2 first, then get 3. Ignore the rest unless you REALLY want more... You really need to give them a chance. At first glance you might be tempted to write it off as a mindless hack and slasher, but later on it turns out to be more like a linear Zelda game with lots of puzzle solving, platforming and exploration

Same! I'm glad that this is more Heavy Rain than Beyond, because the branching story paths are what actually interested me about the game in the first place and this basically looks like Heavy Rain mixed with LA Noire

Yup! I'm really glad to see that it's not just more of the same (even though I really liked their take on a Paper Mario style battle system), glad to see them try something new. It looks to be every bit as good as Stick of Truth was. Writing and humour is spot on and the gameplay looks really fun. What can I say? Hurry up December!!!

Oh yeah, you're right. Forgot about that one. It's still very uncommon though and hasn't really been explored much, so it's still a pretty fresh idea

Very impressed with the look of this. GOW so badly needed a complete shake up and it looks like they've delivered. While it takes some clear influences from the likes of Tomb Raider 2013/Uncharted/TLOU, the over the shoulder melee combat is definitely original. How many other games have similar camera views with an emphasis on melee? God Hand is the only one that springs to mind! I just hope that they don't ditch the puzzle solving and exploration elements that made the series so good... They seem to have removed platforming (and the ability to jump all together), but maybe we'll see something of the sort later on... Either way, I'm really glad that they're shaking things up. As much as I loved the first three numbered games, the series is seriously stale at this point.

Until the game is on store shelves and in my hand, this date is fake :p

South Park looks amazing! The new battle system looks great too! Glad to see that it's not just more of the same (however much I liked the original) and the humour is absolutely spot on, just like SOT. Easily game of the show so far! Interesting to see Yvse basically end the conference with a big middle finger to Vivendi; talking about how they value their freedom.

Yeah, it does feel like a tease for a full length video (which I suppose makes sense, considering that this is actually all buildup for a longer video going over all the games).

Probably the only time where I'm actually happy to see nothing on the VC this week! Dare I dream?

Good thing that every single Kirby game ever made (with the sole exceptions of Kirby Super Star Ultra, Kirby Air Ride and Kirby's Tilt N' Tumble) is actually available on the Wii U/3DS eShops right now (Kirby Super Star Stacker is JPN only, but you have a Japanese console, so you can get it on that region's eShop), so they're all easily accessible after you beat Triple Deluxe

Looks quite nice actually. Quite an impressive size reduction (with internal power brick to boot!) Microsoft beating Sony to the punch with 4K Blu-Ray movies is a legit surprise as well!

You can say a lot of things about last year's show, but it certainly was surprising. I don't think anyone predicted that we'd see Earthbound Beginnings get announced out of nowhere, or Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival being... A thing! That being said, I expect nothing this year. My hype is simply through the floor. They only just about got me to bother watching it with their latest backtrack announcement, but I don't expect anything new to be announced or shown outside of what we already know.

It is legit amazing that they haven't made Amiibo Pokemon TCG cards yet. That is a gold mine just waiting to be... well... mined!

Sony ripping off Nintendo AGAIN!? THE BASTARDS!!!!

True. They could announce the Slim and the Oculus Rift initiative and leave details about Scorpio until early next year... I'm not sure if that's a good idea though... I dunno about that... MS' tune is pretty much the same as Sony's and allowing them to run away with the narrative of having upgraded hardware is a risky move. If they announce some details about Scorpio early, (i.e, it's gonna be more powerful than Neo. It's next gen hardware, not a .5 step etc), it might scupper their plans a bit, even if it's coming late. I suppose it depends on just how far behind they actually are. If it's a no show at E3, then I suppose we know that it's not coming out till probably late next year :p 200K in the month where Sony released their biggest exclusive of the year, with one of the biggest marketing campaigns they've ever had? I don't think that's a good result at all, and the fact that Sony aren't bragging about it speaks volumes...
