  1. If it's coming out this year, it'll be shown here. No way would they leave a shorter window of hype than that. Retailers have to be briefed, developers need to be given info and their games/hardware needs to be hyped up in time for an October/November launch. It's only like 4-5 months left to go now, it's time! MS is a big ???? though. From the sounds of things, they're not ready yet, but rumours are mounting fast and it's really not gonna help them, especially after Sony lift the lid on Neo. They may be forced to talk early, but they're between a rock and a hard place either way...
  2. Spotted this on GAF... http://www.finder.com.au/62-of-games-from-e3-2015-press-conferences-still-unreleased Rather interesting data here. In short, 62% of games shown at last year's E3 are still un-released! Seems that 2015 was the Year of Dreams indeed Hopefully 2016 is more a Year of Reality, but I somehow doubt that...
  3. TBH, it's not been a good month for any of the three hardware guys really. Xbone is just barely hovering over the 100k mark and PS4 just barely above 200k, pretty poor for a market leader... The rumours about Neo/Scorpio probably aren't helping either. It's in their interest to get them out quickly in order to stop people waiting on buying...
  4. Agreed. The Shopto prices are the real sale in this case :p Great news to see them finally joining in on the download codes! Shame that getting them early on the sly won't work here though
  5. Good man! You'll love it no doubt! (And then you've got an entire series to catch up on afterwards. Almost every Kirby game ever made is currently on the 3DS/Wii U eShop now ) I'll be diving into Robobot myself today as well, so... woo!
  6. You're missing out on one of Nintendo's all time best series! It basically plays like a single player Smash Bros game (well, actually it's the other way around since Smash Bros is basically Kirby turned into a fighting game :p ) The games are generally breezy and easy... Until you get into the unlockable stuff of course (the games are also very very speed runner friendly... Which is of course as hard as you make it) Honestly, you can just jump into any of them. They're all great (though I'd say that Kirby Super Star/Super Star Ultra, Kirby's Adventure Wii and Triple Deluxe are the best of the traditional mainline series). The spinoffs are also all round amazing, not a single bad one! Make room :p
  7. I'd love to, but I'm working today (I have my copy of Robobot sitting at home waiting for me and all )
  8. I'm not the only one who thought that the blue buckle on Epona's face was actually her eye at first glance was I? This sprung to mind immediately... ... before I saw her actual eye anyway :p
  9. It needs Gold coins though... LOTS of them... (140 in fact!) It actually is a pretty good deal (it's about twice as good as the Digital Deluxe Promotion equivalent for the amount you'd have to spend to get it), but the barrier to entry is high for this one...
  10. Only 3 episodes? Where's the rest?
  11. Agreed, Heavy Rain was great. People moan about all the plot holes and the hilarious acting at times (JASON!!!!), but really, when you look at it, the game actually really did succeed at what it set out to do. How many games out there have choices that actually do really change the story? I still think it's amazing that you can have key characters in the story die and it just carries on, with the plot changing to compensate. It's really brilliantly done, even if it is ultimately just an absolutely massive, multimillion dollar Choose Your Own Adventure book when you really think about it. Also... http://speeddemosarchive.com/HeavyRain.html#BestTime Yeah... This game makes for some funny speed runs
  12. Rockstar don't normally appear at E3 though. Would be really weird to see them make new game announcements here... Speaking of which, anyone else think it's a bit weird that we're seeing so many announcements before E3 this year? (FF12 HD, WOFF Western Release, Watch Dogs 2 etc)
  13. The juxtaposition of the serious sounding voices and the utterly adorbs characters is hilarious The FF10 style ATB battle system looks to be up my alley as well May just have to get this if it turns out to be as good as it looks!
  14. http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/yooka-laylee-delayed-to-2017-playtonic-internally-handling-wii-u-and-pc-versions/0167997 Apparently the Wii U is the lead platform alongside PC, while Team 17 are porting it to PS4/Xbone. Bit more gameplay here as well... I love how even the rings that you pass through have googly eyes
  15. Fantastic! I expected a delay, but man that looks great!
  16. On the bright side, you're gonna be REALLY good at drawing circles afterwards
  17. Aaaannnnddd it's up! Thanks be to @RedShell for showing Bowser B Dashing in a good light. The King of Awesome is pleased with your work and will reward you by not docking your pay this month: peace:
  18. Wait, they're releasing Pokemon Ranger 2 and 3 in the same week!? Ohhhhhhkkkaaayyy.... Bit weird, but nice still At least it's not another dead week!
  19. Yup, I'll be picking this one up myself shortly. Love Burnout Crash mode and how can you possibly go wrong with combining Burnout Crash mode with explosive golf? You can't!
  20. You'd think so but it's not really stopping the big Youtube names it seems... I still reckon that Livestreaming and the Youtube audience will play a big role on NX. They'll find a "Nintendo like" approach to it and really push it hard (securing exclusive content from the bigger names would not go amiss either...)
  21. I reaaaaaaalllllyyyy doubt that. Pushing adoption of their 4K TVs is the whole reason why Sony would want to do this in the first place. What other incentive do they have? They're already up and away the market leader.
  22. It's more likely that an NX reveal at E3 was originally his idea; before they "delayed" it till next year.
  23. If you were wondering where all the kids went... The rest of them are all watching Youtubers
  24. Hmm, that's an interesting idea... It wouldn't be the first time a console manufacturer has done it though. Microsoft did the same thing in the US with the 360 for the last few years of its life. Can't really remember how well that went though.
