If we look back at 2013 (the year that is the closest analog to this year's lineup), both Pokemon X/Y and Zelda ALBW came out in November. So far, it looks like Nintendo have been attempting to replicate that year's lineup as best they can... So I suspect that they'll pull the same stunt again here!

Mainline Zelda games always come out in November. I expect the Link's Awakening remake to be no different.

Physical version is coming soon after the final DLC launches (which is launching on the same day and date on all platforms; including Switch!) -
In related news... Nintendo Life found something really cool! A cancelled port of Virtua Racing for the GBA! Looks ruddy bloody stunning for the GBA! Damn shame that this didn't get picked up... Apparently it was just pitched too late in the GBA's life. Real shame, it actually looks pretty far along; and actually quite a bit better than the 32X version already! Super impressive!

Separate downloads and smart compression. Also probably a 64GB Game Card. Switch games are always smaller than their PS4/Xbox One counterparts anyway.

It's completely fair. It's definitely the good kind of difficulty. Tough but fair. It does have an easy mode if you find it too hard though. -
Never mind... The guy has retracted his statement now... Apparently Ori and Halo are coming to Switch later on...
-
Jesus... that list is terrifying! And that isn't even half of what they own! Somebody stop them before they buy everything!

So... err... anyone gonna talk about the fact that Sony have just partnered with Epic to put out Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls and Detroit: Become Human on PC? It's kind of a big deal! Sony are willing to sell the PC publishing rights to their first party titles! The floodgates are now opening! Pretty surreal to see this!

Yeah, I guess Sonic Mania did pave the way for this really! Wouldn't surprise me if it really influenced Nintendo here! Oh man, the possibilities are amazing! Get Matt Makes Games making... well... Nintendo games! I feel really sorry for the guys responsible for reviewing developer pitches at Nintendo... They're about to get completely flooded! -
What the hell!?!? https://www.gamerevolution.com/news/512143-heavy-rain-beyond-detroit-pc-later-this-year#GlqQdy3oT4x4shzo.99 Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls and Detroit: Becoming Human are coming to the Epic Games Store!?!?! WHAT THE HELL!?!? First Microsoft go third party on Nintendo platforms, now Sony!?!? What is this? Bizzaro World!?
-
I for one like this Microsoft-supporting-Nintendo-platforms future! Looking forward to seeing Gears of War, Forza and (eventually) Rare Replay on my Switch!

Instabuy! This game is every bit as good as it looks folks!

Still more of a proper Zelda game than Breath of the Wild! -

Hey guys just joined in the stream what's goin' on her.... HOLY SHIT CUPHEAD!?!?!? -
I’d imagine that a potential second Castlevania Collection would be focused on the Igavania titles. This first one seems to be just the 8 and 16 bit titles; so I’m expecting the four remaining titles to be Dracula X/Vampire’s Kiss, Bloodlines/The New Generation, Simon’s Quest and Castlevania Chronicles/Castlevania X68000.

Seems like Konami remembered that they used to publish games, because they just announced a new series of classic game complications for Switch! https://www.konami.com/games/50th/ac/us/en/ The game lineup known so far... Arcade Classics Contra Collection Castlevania Collection From the website description. it looks like there might be more than one Castlevania collection coming? Going by the online chatter I’ve seen, these collections are apparently being made by Hamster; the guys responsible for the Arcade Archives series. So the emulation will probably actually be good here! eShop only. $19.99 (probably €19.99/£14.99 for us); and a lot of hopes and dreams!

In Startropics’ case, it’s especially bad because you actually need it to beat the game! The secret code that was included in the original instruction manual (and the electronic manual included in the Wii, 3DS and Wii U VC releases) is nowhere to be found in the NSO app anywhere... Whoops!
-
Loving the (very fitting!) new avatar you’ve got there! Fingers crossed that the next wave brings some of those games along as well; but Virtua Racing will do just fine for now I just want Gain Ground already!! My Flip Grip is crying for it!!

You pretty much just quoted what a friend said to me, word for word, when I was chatting to him about Stadia the other day! Creepy! Totally agree with you BTW!

Been a while since we last had an update, but we do have a pretty big one... Virtua Racing has 2P online play and 8 player local multiplayer!! https://gematsu.com/2019/03/sega-ages-virtua-racing-first-details-screenshots Might have to squint a bit here! Replay feature looks cool too... and hey! Is that Virt McPolygon!? Seems like this is actually a port of Virtua Formula and not just the standard Virtua Racing... a version of Virtua Racing that supported up to 8 cabinets linked together! Pretty freaking rad! Though why it seems to lack local wireless support is a bit baffling

This Stadia platform feels more geared towards Youtubers than it does to actual game players. Another way for Youtube to engage their audience and have them pay through the platform... Perhaps that's their real end goal here? Perhaps their competition isn't Sony and Microsoft, but rather its Netflix, Twitch and Amazon Prime? They want to pull people away from those video streaming platforms and back onto Youtube. It's the next logical step after the failure of Youtube Red, where they double down on the main thing that people are using their video platform for. Game content. This is Google/Youtube's answer to the threats of Twitch and Netflix; which have both already moved into the realm of interactive video content with things like Twitch Plays Pokemon and Netflix's interactive movies like Black Mirror: Bandersnatch and Minecraft: Story Mode. I don't think that they're really considering Playstation and Xbox to be their competition.

Shareable Save States is a neat idea, but there’s nothing stopping this from being done with more traditional platforms... Hell, Switch can already do this with its News feed! Nintendo only just did this a week back or so with Captain Toad; where they shared a save state that allowed you to launch the game with 99 lives put in place from the News article!

The controller links directly with the server? Well it’s a novel idea at least! Gonna be an absolute lag fest though!
