Right on cue. This should be a good ‘un!
-
Good news, though it did sell less than Bayonetta 2’s launch weekend in the UK (I’m sure it passed it if you include digital though). Still, that’s really good for a new IP on a single platform. About time that PG got a UK chart topper under their belt!

Super Mario Maker 2 - Level Share/Feedback thread
Dcubed replied to Ronnie's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Aaaaaannnnndddd here's another! It's mostly a standard style Mario course... mostly... -
That's exactly what I do; I split the cost with a friend of mine, hence I have no need for the 3 month code.
-
Who wants three months of NSO for free? I have a code for it that I have no use for (I’m using a yearly family membership with some friends, so this code is useless to me). First reply gets it via PM.

Me and @Glen-i played Super Koopa Kart BTW @RedShell! It’s fun! It works well, but it doesn’t work as well in local same screen co-op as it does in separate screen VS; since the leading player cannot pull the camera too far ahead of the lagging players. There’s no real way around it really, but this level would be a blast if you were playing online or had multiple copies of the game & multiple Switches to hand! BTW, here’s some hilarity from us playing your other new course... ... and something else that’ll make you happy... -

Pro Tip 1: The key in the hardblocks is a complete red herring; you can't collect it. Pro Tip 2: To get the final key... think about what you did the last time you saw a giant coin key... This level rewards close observation Glad you liked them! Yeah, I did consider the Endless issue; but sadly there's no real way around it... The person playing one of these levels in Endless isn't going to get the concept unless they view my profile and read the description, so I just had to accept that. -
Wow! They're actually finally doing something new after around a dozen games? Good for them! I suspect that the fanbase will probably scream, send death threats and cause the game to bomb at retail though; so no doubt SEGA will be forced to go back to the same gameplay they've peddled for the last 15 odd years, because 12+ games in the exact same style clearly isn't enough.

SK Dig looks really good! Bomb Chicken was pretty great, so it looks like the SK IP is in good hands with Nitrome Can't wait for Showdown though! That looks nuts! Brings back fond memories of Four Swords Adventures' Shadow Battle mode!

I knew it was too good to be true. There was no way that Capcom would allow Disney to release their game alongside the Virgin games; they’d want to do their own collection. Like what they did with the Disney Afternoon Collection. Whelp. There goes my interest in this release.
-
Well that’s a nice surprise! Guess that also explains Aladdin’s absence on the Mega Drive Mini as well. I’m only interested in the original SNES Aladdin though; don’t want a remake, don’t want the Virgin/Shiny Aladdin game and I don’t want The Lion King. So this package will no doubt be too expensive to justify the cost JUST for SNES Aladdin... Hopefully this means that Capcom’s Goof Troop will also see a re-release soon... Have always wanted to play that one!

Ahh... It might actually be due to the new EU PSD2 online transaction regulations that are due to come into effect in September 2019... https://www.digicert.com/blog/psd2-compliance-required-by-eu-september-2019/ So hopefully it means that they're not planning on killing off the older eShops just yet after all...

(You'll have to do it from the website form now on) WHAT THE FUCK!? NOT COOL NINTENDO!!!!! 3DS is still being sold in stores!!! Hell, the last 3DS game only just got released about 3 months ago!!!!

Man, @RedShell! You’re on fire with these new courses! You’re just cranking these out! Haven’t played your latest two yet, but will do so soon. Me and @Glen-i both cackled like hyenas when we unlocked the secret level after getting past the checkpoint; you’re right, it does get bonkers after that point -
Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - 26th Sept

There is a defined end point. I haven’t seen it yet, but apparently it’s about 10 hours or so into the story! -
That's because it wasn't made by them. It was made by Tecmo Koei (specifically the team behind the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series); with almost no involvement from Intelligent Systems whatsoever.

I lost... but I won! But I lost... But I won! I'm confused, but happy!

N-Europe's Top 10 (Voting over, check first post for results)

I think it speaks more to how weak the mainline Pokemon games were this generation. You have a hugely disappointing follow up to the best generation in the series (X/Y), you have a disappointing remake of the worst games in the series that fixes none of its original problems while introducing new ones (OR/AS) and then you have a game that tried doing some cool new things but ended up being hugely bogged down by incessent cutscenes, genwunner pandering and having all of the exploration & environmental interaction that the series is known for stripped out of it (S/M). That's not to say that it was all bad; X/Y's battle system in particular was the best that the series had ever seen; but sadly, the rest of the game just didn't come together. The entire Pokemon series (Mystery Dungeon withstanding) has been in a bit of a slump since 2013; and Sword/Shield have a lot to prove as a result. Game Freak really need to knock it out of the park here! But that being said, 3DS had a ton of fantastic games; and I think that all of the shortlisted titles deserved a spot in that top 10; way, way ahead of any of the 3DS' mainline Pokemon titles. -

This game is black magic on Switch, wow! Can't believe how close it looks to the PS4 version! My first time playing it here, I've just started the demo and it's off to a great start! After playing DQ7 on 3DS, I really appreciate how quickly they get you into some actual combat and (light) exploration here! Sets a very strong first impression The orchestral music is also absolutely beautiful! Lovely, lovely stuff! I couldn't get through DQ7 3DS, due to its absolutely glacial pacing, but if this start is anything to go by, DQ11 seems to be a lot more engaging and much more interesting so far.
