  1. Oh cool! His vids are great! Will defo check it out
  2. Cool. I should have time this week to get it done. Already have a neat idea for a P-Switch themed course swirling around in my head I like the idea of doing a remix course theme; but I already have a P-Switch idea; so too late now! Maybe next time!
  3. Both of them are Wiki-Wiki-Wiki-Wiki-WONDERFUL anyway
  4. To be fair though, Pokemon SS should be compared to Pokemon GS AND C; since the expansion pass takes the place of the usual 3rd version here. In that case, it’s not so rosy a picture... Good for 51 Worldwide Classics though! Good shit
  5. Very nice to hear that BC seems good so far. Was expecting a bit of a train wreck after Sony’s silence & pussyfooting communication surrounding the matter!
  6. Embrace the B-movie cheese! You’ll love it
  7. I finally got round to playing your levels! And my vote goes to @Sméagol this week. @RedShell, I liked the concept behind your level, but ultimately it’s too hard to be fully enjoyable (I know, I’d normally say this about Smeagol’s courses! I’m shocked too!). You’ll be glad to know though that I did find Baby Face this time around
  8. SEGASammy Holdings have just sold SEGA's arcade/amusement buildings and associated business... https://www.segasammy.co.jp/english/pdf/release/20201104_e_subsidiary_final.pdf Really sad... If any of you have ever been to Tokyo (or have played the Yakuza games), you'll understand how much of a loss it is to see the end of the Club SEGA arcade buildings
  9. Whole lotta boiling frogs in America right now... Even if Biden wins at this point, it looks like it's gonna be another presidency where the democrats get blocked by a Republican senate at every turn...
  10. It’s a port of the original Wii version, not the rubbish PS3 one
  11. Activity Cards seem like they really will be the Vita's Livearea concept finally done justice. Awesome!
  12. Geist is a good shout @Cube. Fantastic concept that was incredibly poorly executed and ultimately wasted. Anyway, my vote goes to Epic Mickey. Amazing concept, but ultimately just not executed very well. It's a concept that really deserves another chance! Another one for me is The House of The Dead: Overkill. I love absolutely everything about this game... other than its gameplay... It's such a shame. All of the surrounding trappings (like the writing, the characters etc) is absolutely AMAZING! But the actual light gun HOTD gameplay here is just so piss poor! It's an awful HOTD game with shit pacing, shit level & enemy/boss designs, but it's just SO damn funny! I really wish that SEGA AM1 could have a crack at remaking this game. Keep the writing, characters and Grindhouse setting, but have the actual HOTD team make an actual good HOTD game around it!
  13. The only reason why DQ11s even exists is because Nintendo paid for it. Be grateful that you get to scrounge Nintendo's funded game on your console of choice now.
  14. Likewise. I've basically stopped playing my Switch all together since the start of this year. Outside of Monster Hunter Rise/Stories 2, there's nothing I'm really begging to play on Switch at all anymore. I've been on a retro binge all year!
  15. I actually just played through NSMB Wii again a week back or so and 100%’d it again (Yes of course I got 5 shiny stars on my file; I ain’t no scrub ). Still the best 2D Mario game! Just restarted Skyward Sword last week as well; though it has been put on hold for a bit since me & @Glen-i started a Wind Waker Randomiser run (In case you haven’t seen our exploits in the Logic Randomisers thread; TLDR: It’s bonkers fun! )
  16. It's a shame that the GBA version was so shoddily made. The fan patches help, but ultimately it's a lesser version than the original; even with the patches. And really? I don't feel that the new translation is as good as the original (despite fixing some issues like "Fenix Down"). It's not the disaster that the Chrono Trigger DS re-translation was, but it does lose some of the original game's character and appeal. FF4 GBA and FF5 GBA are straight upgrades over the original SNES games though (and FF5 GBA is straight up, the best version of the game available till this date - it's the only GBA FF port that has nothing really wrong with it; even the OST is basically a spot-on conversion!).
  17. The Hero of Time is back to save the land of Hyrule and we couldn't be happier!
  18. Well so far it looks like they're taking the best elements from World and are integrating it into the mold set by MH4/MHG. Which is basically all I wanted really. I do hope that the online lobby system is modelled more after World than MHG, but as far as gameplay goes? I couldn't really be happier with how Rise is shaping up really!
  19. HoT!!! You're alive!!! We missed you!! Looking forward to playing MH online with you again! (Especially since we finally got our internet working properly again the other day!)
  20. So... hey! Our online is finally working again! It didn't completely shit the bed with two of us in the same room! HOORAY!!!!!!!! Monhun and Kart is back on the menu!
  21. Sounds like the backwards compatibility might not be the slam dunk that we thought it was... https://www.resetera.com/threads/ubisoft-connect-not-all-ubisoft-ps4-games-will-work-on-ps5-update-3-ubisoft-pulled-the-article-stating-this-information-contains-inaccuraties.316237/ https://www.resetera.com/threads/on-the-subject-of-ps5-bc-compatibility-current-listings-from-sony-api-compatible-bootable-not-compatible.316441/ Let's hope the "errors" are not too egregious.
  22. Cross fingers that Glen-i's witchcraft solution (which really shouldn't have worked!) has finally cracked the problem! Would be great to actually be able to play online together again... Will have to test it myself at some point today!
  23. It’s the uncensored version everywhere? Even better!
  24. Fab news! I don’t like NMH2 nearly as much as NMH1 (It wasn’t directed by Suda51 and it shows), but it’s a lot more contemporary and palatable for a mass market audience; so if you’ve not played a Suda51/Kill The Past game before? You will probably find NMH2 to be much more accessible than the first. The original NMH is a proper Suda51 game through and through; meaning that it’s not gonna be for everyone. If you’re a fan of David Lynch and Quentin Tarantino’s works though? You may well just love the original NMH; it’s just dripping with SO MUCH subtext it’s unreal!
