  1. A lot of the questions were ridiculous and out of the blue, was the creator of this a homosexual? I didn't really understand what the questions were getting at.
  2. Yeah, especially at the moment with what's going on off the coast of Somalia. Pirates were all the rage with teenagers a few years ago, but now they are just not cool. Let's hope that the ninjas behave.
  3. I prefer streaming video than actually downloading it (ok, perhaps thats the same thing). If I like something I've watched online, like Monty Python, I will go ahead and buy the original tv series on DVD for the improved picture quality and the convenience of watching it on TV. Streaming content online should be perfectly legal, but in order to prevent this free media from rivalling the stuff you buy in shops or pay to download, there should be a legal limit in place to limit the video resolution or sound quality. Fibre optic and 200Mb+ wirless broadband are just around the corner and they'll easily be able to stream HD content. When we are all used to HD, they could offer SD or less for free. If they did this, I bet it would be so much easier to regulate content! Sites could just limit their resolutions and comply with the law. I only use torrents for Adobe products because they are so overpriced! I'd happily give Adobe £30 for each of their programs, not £500 for a glorified notepad....
  4. The Animals of Farthing Wood was a pretty good TV series, altough the story was really sad.
  5. I liked watching Totally Spies when I was a teenager...... I used to love cartoons like Pokemon when I was younger, but now its all documentaries, sci fis and historical Chinese TV series (Monkey, Lotus Lantern, Magic Phone, Strange Tales from Liaozhai, Romance of the Three Kingdoms and etc).
  6. 1) I find most things boring these days. Those story books and cartoons I watched as a kid really mis-sold this world. 2) Most people (no need to offend anyone) 3) The UK because its dead and stagnant compared to other, more lively and younger places 3) The destruction we have done to this planet 4) The fact that the planet is being destroyed in order to support me 5) The slow worms, frogs, fish and newts which I removed from their habitats when I was a kid. I think I am the reason for a local extinction of slow worms... I dont know how I'll ever get over the innocent cruelty my facination with animals led to when I was a child. I do give money to WSPA out of my salary every month. 5) hmm, thats all I can think of right now!: peace:
  7. Looks good, I'll wait for some vids that show off the browser before I decide on buying one.
  8. Being a vegetarian is definitely the healthy option and it wont make you skinny or anything (nobody just eats lettuce). There is quite a lot of food that has the same properties as meat. I've been a vegetarian for 3 years and I am healthier than I used to be. I used to have really bad allergies, but haven't had them since I became a vegetarian. When you are a vegetarian, you actually watch what you eat, instead of just having meat all the time in order to make food taste good.
  9. Wow, I just experienced my first banned Sony music video.
  10. How about letting the user decide between a few colour schemes by using CSS? (I'm a noob)
  11. Any chances of seeing this online? My digital reception isnt working.
  12. Woohoo, it wont be long now. 35mins guys.
  13. It must be your browser. I am using Opera and I can just right click and then copy it to my clipboard. I can paste it into CS4 without any problems. You could always print screen or save the image to your computer.
  14. Hey, I was watching that last night! Karate Kid 3 is legendary.:awesome:
  15. I think this one is incorrect. Edit: yep, here is an article from 2005: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/4443696.stm
  16. I'm ok, but my jaw hurts a bit. 5 teenagers (probably BCOT college students because they're retards) decided to come and sit next to me at lunch time and the psychotic one decided to blow a pink balloon up in my face. I popped the balloon and then found myself getting punched by him 3-4 times (he must have had ADHD or something because he was acting like a total freak). He was claiming to be a schizophrenic and he said that he had a knife, but he was obviously just mentally retarded. I think he somehow got it into his mentally ill head that he wanted my phone and that's why he sat next to me. I had my messenger bag around me and my phone in my hand, along with a bluetooth keyboard on my lap, so could barely move. I got up, threw him to the floor, got on top of him and then put my hand around his neck to then be told to get off him by his smiling and careless friends. I was tired and didn't want to get into any trouble because I was working and he was obviously mentally ill and I just wasn't angry enough to hit him. He was weak for somebody who was just under 6ft tall and I had complete control of him. I called for some help so that I could get this guy arrested or to at least get the situation under control, but nobody came to help me and he had 4 friends with him watching his back... I couldn't risk doing anything. He gave me 5 seconds to go before he was going to kill me with a brick (lol....this was just after I let him get up from the floor) and because nobody came, I just packed all my things and tried to ask him and his friends a few questions like whether they were at college and what was really wrong with him, but they didnt say anything. They must have been scared of him to just behave the way they did. I went to get security from the shopping centre next to the garden and they just didnt care because the garden is outside. I phoned the police and they are coming to see me on Saturday for an interview, but I bet that they wont do anything about it. I am not good with remembering peoples looks and I doubt that they'll even try to bother about looking for this guy. Oh well, I can manage facing a couple of people and have done in the past, but I dont know how to deal with 5 people. I will apply for martial arts lessons tonight so that I'm better prepared in the future (also because I am a big fan of Journey to the West and it's something I've wanted to do since last year). I also need to replace my messenger bag because fighting with a messenger bag on is ridiculous! It was like having an arm tied behind my back. Edit: Hope my bad spelling tonight is due to being tired.
  17. Had my head punched in by a psychotic teenager while enjoying my lunch on a garden bench. 10/10.
  18. You could always do a 2nd degree!
  19. I work for Barclays Commercial in one of their banking departments... Been there for 2 years now and I'm sick of it, but I'm trapped there due to the state of the economy. I started searching for another job just before the economy hit the fan.:awesome: The people I work with are really not my cup of tea. I'd love to go to university and study Chinese or go abroad and travel, but I cant because I'll be moving out and settling down soon and none of that is really possible! I'm studying Chinese in my spare time and I'll be taking my Intermediate HSK exam in October this year. I am also learning HTML/XHTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, MySQL and etc and I'll see where that takes me once I've mastered everything. Anything to stop my brain from rotting. The economy sucks, but we might as well make the most of it and improve ourselves during this time.
  20. Dubai's plans for the future have never made any sense to me. They'll eventually just end up with countless empty superstructures that will cost them a fortune to maintain.
  21. SPAM ......
  22. I had no idea that 4chan had 4000+ members.
  23. I need a new camera, my current one is and has always been extremely rubbish. This is one I like, although the picture quality isnt that great: A very tiny waterfall.
