Now, Nintendo, allow us users to message each other, so we can invite, etc.
  2. Completely correct.
  3. Wii U eShop releases for this week Wii U eShop How to Survive (505 Games, €13.99 / £12.59) — Zombies are everywhere on most platforms, though Wii U has somewhat missed out aside from the excellent ZombiU. 505 Games won't let that stand, and its isometric survival game — set on an island — in which you forage for items and fight off the undead is here to fill the void. We'll pack our cricket bat and head off to the island for our review. Wii U Virtual Console Wario Land 4 (Nintendo, €6.99 / £6.29) — The Game Boy Advance range picks up once again on the Wii U, this time with a terrific platformer starring the somewhat overweight and greedy villain. In addition to his impressively varied move-set, Wario can undergo transformations when attacked by certain enemies, while some mini-games are thrown in for good measure. You can check out our glowing recommendation in our Wario Land 4 review. Wii U eShop Temporary Discounts Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON'T KNOW! (Bandai Namco, €14.49 / £12.19 until 29th June, normally €44.99 / £36.99) Ben 10: Omniverse (Bandai Namco, €9.99 / £6.69 until 29th June, normally €29.99 / £19.99) Ben 10: Omniverse 2 (Bandai Namco, €14.99 / £13.69 until 29th June, normally €39.99 / £36.99) Family Party: 30 Great Games Obstacle Arcade (Bandai Namco, €9.99 / £9.99 until 29th June, normally €19.99 / £19.99) Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures (Bandai Namco, €19.99 / £16.29 until 29th June, normally €44.99 / £36.99) Rise of the Guardians (Bandai Namco, €15.49 / £11.99 until 29th June, normally €44.99 / £35.99) Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (Bandai Namco, €14.99 / £9.99 until 29th June, normally €29.99 / £19.99) The Croods: Prehistoric Party (Bandai Namco, €9.99 / £6.59 until 29th June, normally €29.99 / £19.99) Turbo: Super Stunt Squad (Bandai Namco, €14.49 / £12.19 until 29th June, normally €44.99 / £36.99) TNT Racers - Nitro Machines Edition (Keen Games, €4.99 / £4.49 until 19th June, normally €7.99 / £6.99)
  4. eShop releases this week for the 3DS 3DS eShop Color Zen (Cypronia, €2.99 / £2.99) — After a fairly impressive showing on the Wii U eShop, this soothing and aesthetically pleasing puzzle title makes its way to the portable. It's a formula that we enjoyed after a long day at work in our Wii U eShop Color Zen review, and we'll see how well it stands up on 3DS. 3DS Virtual Console Super Dodge Ball (Aksys Systems, €3.99 / £3.59) — A quirky spin-off from the River City Ransom world, this is a bizarre and violent take on the sport best known in schools and for a peculiar comedy movie. You run, you jump, you dodge, but it's actually a surprising amount of fun — check out our Wii U Virtual Console Super Dodge Ball review for the lowdown. 3DS Retail Download Tomodachi Life (Nintendo, €39.99 / £34.99) — Available from 6th June. This is sometimes, somewhat inaccurately, compared to Nintendo's 3DS blockbuster of summer 2013, Animal Crossing: New Leaf; yet in reality it is rather different. This Mii-sim is a particularly quirky experience, as you prompt and observe all-manner of peculiar scenarios and games unfold, and is ideally suited to short bursts of play. It's certainly unique, and we'll bring you our review soon. Farming Simulator 14 (Focus Home Interactive, €34.99 / £29.99) 3DS eShop Temporary Discount Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON'T KNOW! (Bandai Namco, €9.99 / £8.29 until 29th June, normally €34.99 / £28.49) Ben 10: Omniverse 2 (Bandai Namco, €14.99 / £12.19 until 29th June, normally €34.99 / £28.49) Madagascar 3 & The Croods: COMBO PACK (Bandai Namco, €14.99 / £12.19 until 29th June, normally €34.99 / £28.49) One Piece Romance Dawn (Bandai Namco, €14.99 / £12.19 until 29th June, normally €34.99 / £28.49) Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures (Bandai Namco, €17.49 / £14.19 until 29th June, normally €34.99 / £28.49) Power Rangers Megaforce (Bandai Namco, €9.99 / £8.29 until 29th June, normally €34.99 / £28.49) Project X Zone (Bandai Namco, €17.49 / £13.99 until 29th June, normally €34.99 / £27.99) Regular Show: Mordecai & Rigby in 8-Bit Land (Bandai Namco, €9.99 / £8.29 until 29th June, normally €34.99 / £28.49) Turbo: Super Stunt Squad (Bandai Namco, €9.99 / £8.29 until 29th June, normally €34.99 / £28.49) The Croods: Prehistoric Party (Bandai Namco, €9.99 / £8.29 until 29th June, normally €34.99 / £28.49) Hometown Story (Rising Star Games, €19.99 / £19.99 until 12th June, normally €29.99 / £29.99) Monster Shooter (Gamelion, €2.10 / £1.99 until 3rd July, normally €4.00 / £3.20) Wakeda (CIRCLE Entertainment, €1.99 / £1.79 until 26th June, normally €2.99 / £2.50) Witch & Hero (CIRCLE Entertainment, €1.99 / £1.79 until 26th June, normally €4.00 / £3.60) World Conqueror 3D (CIRCLE Entertainment, €3.99 / £3.59 until 26th June, normally €4.99 / £4.49) DSiWare Jewel Match (Joindots, 500 Nintendo Points) — It's Match 3! On DSiWare! We're not sure of much else to say, aside from the fact that it suffers from painful mediocrity; you can learn why in our Jewel Match review.
  5. Yet another Vignette of the turned Decepticon; Drift
  6. This happened to my GamePad, only it drifted upwards. Seemed to rectify itself after a few days, that was a few months back now and no further problems. I put it dwn to dust or a hair or something being introduced into the mechanism????
  7. No, I'm still waiting, too. And, will be after you 2 get yours! But, that's the choice of living in another country. No, the split screen on the TV is duplicated on the Gamepad???? Why???? And, just finished a Lego Batman 2 session with the little one, and 18 friends online, 16 playing MK8, so jealous!!!
  8. If you press the Home button, one of the selectable middle buttons is Set Controllers (or something very similar). Hit it and it'll allow you to reset all controllers, then turn on any other ones you need manually and in the order you want.
  9. You're all lucky b's. Got my dispatched email, but will be very lucky to have it in my hands before the E3 presentation. Damn half-way around the world distances
  10. Shit, I thought May was expensive. June and July are going for wallet, too.
  11. Awesome news. Loved this on 3DS, but never got FallBlox. The Wii U will do well to have lots of games like this on the eShop.
  12. Most reviewers said Origins is slightly worse than City due to the lack of Gamepad specifics, which made City Awesome.
  13. Full Wii U eShop releases this week Wii U Mario Kart 8 – €59.99/£49.99 (from May 30th) ** Special offer – For those who have downloaded Super Mario Kart, the price is €52.00 (£44.50) until June 30th Gravity Badgers – €4.99 (£4.99) Wii U Virtual Console The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap – €6.99 (£6.29) Price Reductions Batman Arkham City: Armoured Edition – €14.99/£12.49 (Ends June 5) Batman: Arkham Origins – €14.99/£12.49 (Ends June 5) LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes – €12.49/£9.99 (Ends June 5) Injustice: Gods Among Us – €14.99/£12.49 (Ends June 5) Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara – €8.99/£7.19 (Ends June 8) Resident Evil Revelations – €29.99/£23.99 (Ends June 8) I'm seriously tempted by Lego Batman 2 and Arkham Origins at those prices. I need to get a good Lego game. Any recommendations??

  15. Finished this a long time ago, but have recently been trying to 5 shiny star this. Done! And, what a beautiful platformer. The extra difference that Luigi adds to the levels makes it worthwhile going through all of them again. Just in time for Mario Kart 8.
  16. Few new trailers. Megatron Bruticus Bumblebee Optimus Prime Anyone else excited about this. The last 2 Transformers games seem to have had some critical acclaim to them. This is being developed by Edge of Reality, different to the first 2 games. What's the hopes this will be any good? I'm hoping for it, as I'm in a Transformers mood recently, been catching up on Prime and Beast Hunters.
  17. Picture taken from the back of the Japanese box. Take a look under player 1's icon, it clearly shows that the boxing game is played by using 2 Wii Motion Plus Remotes. Get in there. This should be so much better than the original.
  18. 7 wrong for me, 18/25. And 209m off the Tie breaker question.
  19. I had the same problem last night. Had to wake up early this morning to get a swim in with my son. Started this at 11:00pm for a quick taster session. When I looked at the clock it was just after 1:00am. Totally addictive, followed by lack of sleep.
  20. Well, I bought it in Taiwan, where everything is cheaper than in the UK. If you go into an electrical appliance store they pretty much sell 1TB drives now (or bigger). It's hard to find a 500GB one. I got that over 1 year ago for $998 Taiwan Dollars (which is around 20 quid). Crazy cheap, and a good brand, too.
  21. I have a Japanese branded 1TB Buffalo MiniStation HDD that I use with a Y cable and have had no problems, as yet. I have the USB 2.0 version though, with a green light.
  22. There's a send message icon there, too. Is this only via Miiverse? or in game messaging, which would be cool and quicker/instant?
  23. Still wowed by this game, just finished my first Championship round, and won. Which opens up the next course. Loving the Tournaments, and found the Challenges yesterday which unlocks moire stuff. So much to do, this will last.
  24. You're completely correct. The connector is different, don't know where I pulled that from. Sorry! ;P
