Personal favourite Amazing use of music. Also: as a big fan of the comics I'd spent a good deal of time prior to the film thinking: how the hell are they planning to deal with all the prose sections in the book? Seeing them all so brilliantly placed in the opening montage was just amazing.

Only thing I've ever had nicked is the phone I left in the bar once. Amazing how quickly phones get swiped that way- even if you call it within an hour or so your phone will be switched off, sans sim card faster than you'd imagine. Nobody ever returns a lost phone, they just take it.

Here's the problem: for months, they'd been doing Daredevil as this really cool thriller where Matt was doing a deal with the devil- taking over The Hand because it's either him or Fisk then they set up this excellent morality challenge for him which was all about 'can The Hand, historically an 'evil' organisation by any yardstick, be used for good if Matt Murdoch is strong willed enough? It was a fucking excellent scenario. Top notch. Then Shadowland...that bastard possession thing. It just throws out all the morality, all the suspense. After months of Murdoch walking the razor edge between using The Hand and genuinely becoming The Hand himself they go and piss on it all with a plot that may as well be 'A WIZARD DID IT! LOL!' What a fucking waste.

Did you read 77/78 of TWD, rez? zomg. Last two issues of The Invincible Iron Man have been awesome. Resilient has been too slow up till now, even for me (and I love me some slow burn comics) but the last issues have been beast. well beast.

I watched the first ep- entertaining stuff and I liked the chrono-hopping structure. It's light though, and sticking with it will require a bit more meat on the bones. Fun, though. When is it on C4 again?

Shit artists are quick to forget that as soon as we leave, nature will reclaim our cities in a heartbeat. Unless it's a scenario where the entire planet is dying due to nuclear winter etc(The Road, The Terminator) then the future without us probably looks absolutely gorgeous.

Yeah aliens makes sense- in that out there somewhere sentient life exists on a level akin to our own. It's just simple maths, really. Ghosts are just nonsense cooked up by people who attribute meaning when they've simply seen something they don't understand or perceive properly.
