  1. Grace by Jeff Buckley. An edlessly facinating and subtly brilliant album. perfect for almost any mood. I'd also say I know every single note inside out by this point, and i'm still not bored. In fact, I love it more than ever. best. album. ever.
  2. that's proper sick. I do love props and shit =)
  3. you might be right there...I thought it was craig at the time, but i could be wrong.. in fact. yes. I'm wrong. just checked it on Imdb
  4. 28 days later was a good take on the zombie movie. I really liked some of the stuff they did. helped by the presence Cillian Murphy and Daniel Craig. Dark Water scared the shit out of me good and proper. amazing build up to a truly great ending. had me screaming like a girl =) Ringu. the antidote to modern horror. it makes you think, it's genuinely creepy as fuck and the penultimate scene is a masterpiece of cinema.
  5. Getting my DS online. hanging out with cute girls being the only guy... having all of scrubs at my disposal new muse albums being good 'oh yeah' by Yello
  6. holy shit. that's good news must get freeview box in my house at uni....much cinema is to be enjoyed.
  7. If we're moving onto narcotics: Ultravisitor by Squarepusher. Mind bendly complex electro drum and bass. fills your head with wonderful, wonderful sound while you drift off.
  8. It's alright to be impressed. most people are.
  9. Ferris Beulers Day Off one of my all time favourite movies. great, great film, with a bangin soundtrack. also watched it in the company of two hot girls. always a bonus =) 10/10
  10. The original creeped me the fuck out. it's not 'scary' as such (except the end) but it's deffinatly a very disturbing film. perhaps people here expect a less cerebal horror and missed the more subtle attraction of ringu.
  11. good man. I think 'Twist' on Black Cherry takes the crown.
  12. I'd hate to see the story continued. It ends beutifully. It'd be foolhardyness of starwars proportions for Pullman to carry on.
  13. that sexy filth or do you just hate them?
  14. kind of. transformers the movie fo a fiver BUT! sent to my address at Hull. shit. I dont live there anymore.
  15. I think its like an Icelanding sounding thing....bah. I cant remember.
  16. fucking yes.
  17. My friend has an equation that is thus: Goldfrapp + Wine = sex. I'm very inclined to agree with him as both make me pretty horny...I think this applies mostly to Felt Mountain. An album that sounds like sticking your brain in a tub of syrup reverberating with phat, phat bass. =) anyone fancy expanding the thread past sex? Best album for a slow summers night like this for me has to be Grace. I love it so....it puts me in one of my thoughtful moods. not sad, just contemplative.
  18. I like Pullman. he's a very good storyteller, great imagination and he strikes me as a very smart, interesting kind of guy. Hopefully his material (excuse the pun) is in good hands also: brian blessed should be the bear. fact.
  19. what the hell? is this not the one necro post to end them all?
  20. Easily the best live act I've seen. saw em on the origin tour back in the day + T in the park on the absolution tour. Joygasmic.
  21. this is for one band
  22. I'm gonna go buy it now. wheee!
  23. Jonny Cash once sang 'I shot a man in Reno, Just to watch him die'. the real reason he did it was because Steam hid Half Life 2 on his computer and left no means of uninstallation except a time wasting manual folder destruction that took hours and made him want to kill a man. so he did.
  24. no x box? why the bejeez not?
  25. I love the scientology/tom cruise/ r kelly one. cracked me up so hard =)
