Yeah so how else are we supposed to label, if Earth is the only planet in our solar system that has living life on it then I would think obviously it would be the best place to start. I mean c'mon how else are scientists supposed to recognise the requirements for life? And its just unrealistic to think that if there is life on other planets, and Earth and that planet would not be similar in at least one way.

No the thing that is best about these threads are just the complete disregard about the developers themselves. I mean you've are all saying the Wii is easiest to develop for, its the cheapest, the funniest etc when quite clearly it isn't. I reckon that 90% of Wii owners with another next-gen console most likely leave the Wii to gather dust and when big game developers like say Mark Rein say stuff like that its pretty clear that a lot of the developers quite clearly prefer the 360/PS3/PC. And stop with the bloody complaining about the ports or the lack of. Infinity Ward spent about 2 years developing COD4 and it is one of the greatest FPS's made. Its single player story is phenomenal and its multi-player is so popular its outdoing Halo 3 for months. So why after all 2 years worth of hard work would they want to have to go back to the same game, downgrade everything single part of the game, have to take the code apart too make it work and for what? For a mere shadow of the original game, its ridiculous. If somebody told any of you to redo the job you had being doing for the past 2/3 years and spent another 8-12 months on it they I doubt you would be pleased. One more thing, I like how you all seem to be getting your hopes up about COD5. If its going the way its going which is being developed by Treyarch and abandoning Modern Warfare then doubt you all will severely disappointed. -

Die Another Day was like 3/4 years after The World Is Not Enough, I don't see how the new Indy is like it at all. I don't think I did rate it though I would give it 6/10. The plot takes away 3 points and THE jungle scene with Shia takes another point away. Seems fair to me.

Yeah Batman Begins wasn't a new beginning as in a prequel but as in a new beginning as a new franchise. And the less that is spoke about Batman Forever and Batman and Robin the better.

Yeah you can use the headset, I'm not sure how you would do the tambourine/cowbell sections, suppose you would just tap it. How come we aren't getting the tracks on sale? Blink 182 is only 80 points in USA and on the actual track page it says that its only a buck and its sponsored by McDonalds. Is this just an error? or are EA/MTV/Harmonix just disregarding Europe in all respects now?

Bioshock multi-player... Possibly one of the worst ideas ever, if there was such a thing you do know you would get people that would just run about with the Ice plasmid and freeze everybody. And yes I would be one of them. But also why would they go through all the hassle of creating a multi-player Bioshock when probably most of the team is on new projects and they have won enough awards for the original so why tack on something that can only detract from the value of the game. I'm surprised that there is some of the people that worked on the original working on this but I'm guessing they are just over seeing the contracted port team.

We do Rural Land Resources instead of River Basins, what do you do for the human interaction? The first question in paper 1 was annoying though, urban maps are so much easier.

So, and other fellow Geographers (hate that word), how did you do? I found it alright, it wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it would be but I just don't think I said enough in all the questions to get me an A pass. I'm pretty confident I've passed it and got at least a B but you never know....

I live in Kilmacolm, the school is Greenock Academy. Its about half an hour from Glasgow. I was praying she would be playing at T In The Park but her only UK festival is one down in England. I was so annoyed.

Ah right, the most are school does is up to AH, though our school is meant to be the best non-denominational school in Scotland. Don't see how that works... Meh it was alright, not as hard as I thought it would be but then I didn't do as well as I thought I would. Anybody do Information Systems? Was that not just the easiest paper ever? I finished it in an hour early... hopefully thats a good thing.

Is anybody actually buying this is the last Metal Gear Solid game? I know Konami have said it won't be the last Metal Gear but if the ending to 4 is anything like I think it will then I don't see how Kojima can continue the story. And no to anything to do with Raiden as the main character.

wha... Chair how come you, well I'm assuming, English style maths? No love for Highers? Anybody else do the Higher paper today, I really don't know how I did at all. I reckon I passed it but whether I get a C or a B is a coin toss guess.

Not kind of a clue? I always kinda though Nectar might of been a gimmick, it had potential and it just doesn't seem like FR to make a bad FPS but it seems that even with the delays they just didn't have enough time and Ubisoft just wanted it out the door.

You say that as a good thing. If Moffat is lead then do you really think the episodes with have the creative spark, I doubt it. Sure he will probably do a better job than RTD but I just think it would be better if he only did episodes once in a while so they remained fresh.

Yeah to be honest if anybody understood MGS2's ending then they are a better wo/man than me. Is Portable Ops crucial for the overall story?

My friend's PS3 Hard Drive became corrupted and he phoned Sony up and according to him they are just sending him a replacement and not picking up his old one. Is it just the hard drive that needs either formatting or replaced? I haven't been able to properly see it, only spoke about it on the bus, but he is pretty sure that it is only the hard drive that is faulty? So would I just be able to either format the hard drive or just buy a new one? Or do you think I shouldn't chance it. He said about £100 for it which seems fair to me imo.

I watched the first episode of Haruhi and I just didn't get it. It just seemed ridiculous and in a bad way. I really should watch NGE though, I mean I've seen Rah-Xephon which was a mind fuck and since it was heavily influenced by NGE, it makes little sense it not watching it.

With your case you cant just install a new motherboard, you would have to buy a new case and motherboard for you to be able to OC it.
