  1. Glad it's finally been done! Must be such a relief! I hope your recovery goes well! Take it easy!
  2. Jealous! Been to the Paris one loads of times, but Disneyworld is on top of my list of places to go! Hope you had a great time!
  3. Decided I actually want to make work of a trip to Italy, possibly for the upcoming Easter break! Only problem is I have no clue where to start on this. Has anyone here done a tour of Italy? Did you book it all with a specific company or did you just book everything yourself? Did you travel around by car, coach or public transport? Also, what places should be on our list to visit? I think a trip of about 10 days would be nice, and I definitely want to go to Rome, Florence and possibly Pompeii. But I'm not sure how much time it would take us to get around. Hmmm...
  4. Any idea if it might be a broken pipe, or if maybe it just leaked from the door? Cause we had the second thing happen in our old flat, soap/water just seemed to have leaked from the door onto the floor. Only happened twice, think it might have been an issue of overfilling the machine or putting too much soap in. After taking pictures to show to family of what we've done so far with the house, I decided to throw together a little before and after image for the main rooms we've changed. It's nice to see the progress we've made in the house over the last few months. The second bedroom is one of our next projects, as it currently just serves as a storage room for games/music instruments and other stuff. Loads of things left to do around the house, but it's getting there.
  5. From what I can tell, it has a very steep learning curve and lots of things you need to know but the game doesn't tell you most them. @Fierce_LiNk hated it and hasn't touched it again... I would look at some videos first if I were you, as it is completely different from No Man's Sky.
  6. A tour of Italy is high on my list of things I want to do! I did it once when I was 18 with my Latin class, we toured through Italy for 10 days on a coach and had our Latin teachers take us to all the monuments, ruins, museums etc. and they would tell us all the facts you otherwise wouldn't pick up. Loved it. We went to Venice, Pisa, Rome, Vatican City, Florence, Pompeii, Paestum, Siena, and probably lots of other places I'm forgetting. No idea how we fit it all in though! But yeah this is something I'd like to do again. That and going to Disneyworld in Florida!
  7. Congratulations! I hope the rest of the selling/buying/moving process all runs smoothly for you! I personally don't want to go through it again anytime soon haha (6 months of waiting just stressed me out too much). I've finally started tackling our massive garden. Well, I had already been doing some things before, mostly cutting down overgrown bushes and weeding (lots of it!). Now I've started digging out some of the plants/bushes (with some help from Jim). I want to start from scratch with the garden, or at least remove as much as is possible. I have some ideas in my head for what I want to do with it, but it's just a case now of saving up the money and possibly finding a gardener for help.
  8. Nah that shouldn't affect you at all. You can keep playing your games on your console. If he wants to play any of your digital games, he will have to log into your account on his console, then download the game from there to the PS4. Once it is downloaded, he can then access it from his account on the console. So it's just a case of logging into yours, download and log out again.
  9. Yeah you should be able to do this. He should add your account to his PS4, and then activate your account as the primary account on the console. He should then be able to access your digital games on his account as well. Here is a video to explain it:
  10. Question: we just paid for our annual subscription this month, but would we be able to buy another annual membership code somewhere, add it to our account and have them stack up? Or does it not work that way?
  11. That one took me a few tries, as tbe Shell Walkers usually ended up picking up the barrels. Think I got it in the end by angrily smashing into one of the Shell Walkers until the barrel just dropped out.
  12. Am I the only one who thinks this looks like absolute garbage then?
  13. I think at the moment the Japanese course isn't finished yet, so I imagine they will be adding more to it as they finish it off. And there might still be errors in it as well, so do report things that are wrong (they rely heavily on the community to report errors I think). I've been trying to study some Spanish through Duolingo, but I don't know how much of it is actually sticking heh. I've heard @Fierce_LiNk practicing Italian and I already seem to know more of the Italian vocabulary than I do Spanish, simply because I studied Latin. So maybe I should just switch to that. :P
  14. Happy birthday Animal! Hope you've had a great day!
  15. I'm so sorry to hear about your grandfather Ashley. My condolences to you and your family. It is indeed upsetting not getting to say goodbye, but at least it sounds like he passed away quietly and without pain, and that's something you/your nan can take comfort in. *hugs*
  16. I remember we tried to register our Sony tv as well when we got it, but it wouldn't let us because of the two step verification, and I don't think we figured out how to get around it. :/
  17. They'll be very useful if you get them! Jim used his stands a lot! We have something similar to this: Squat stands If you lived closer you could have ours, we actually need to get rid of them now that we have the cage. :P I desperately need to lose weight again. Using the crosstrainer 5 times per week and trying to watch my food, but so far it's not working yet. Need to work harder somehow!
  18. Congratulations to Portugal for winning! Happy that Belgium got 4th place, didn't expect it!
  19. I thought San Marino and Lithuania were a bit shit to be honest. :P So it seems that whichever one you like, that will be a song that won't do well! I've watched both semi-finals and thought there were some decent songs in both, but nothing that really stands out yet to me. I like the ones like Sweden, Norway, Greece, quite liked Hungary for some reason... I'm sure there's a few others but I forgot. :P As for my country Belgium, I didn't like the live performance much, it didn't sound like her voice was coming through enough (and the music seemed quiet?). Didn't think we'd get through... but then for the third year in a row they announced us last as going through! I have to say I much prefer the official version of the song, it actually sounds good! Better than the live version, so I really hope she can sing it better tomorrow!
  20. Congratulations! You didn't have to wait too long luckily! Enjoy being a homeowner!
  21. Well I've just ordered it! Won't get here until next week but that's ok. And yeah, it should be better than my current phone at least, which I am ready to smash against a wall in frustration haha. Thanks for the help! Now to try and find a flip case that works with this phone and doesn't block the camera.
  22. Groupon currently seem to have the LG G5 SE for £279: link here. Tempted to get it as my current phone just won't turn on anymore. I'm assuming this is the model you meant? Or are there different versions available? Also, does anyone have experience with buying through Groupon?
  23. Thanks for the suggestions! I'll have a look at the G4/G5 and OnePlus 3T later to see what reviews say. Ideally though I don't want to spend much more than £250, but we'll see. I was originally gonna go for something cheaper like the Moto G4, but then noticed they had a new model out. :P I think I will also have to see how much I'm getting paid next week, as that might influence my decision. Been doing loads of overtime to help pay for this phone, but don't know yet how much the taxman is taking away from it. If I had the cash, I would probably go for the Google Pixel or something, but it's so stupidly expensive and how people can spend that amount of money on a phone is beyond me! D:
  24. From what I can tell, the European model has the NFC chip (something I've never even used to be honest), but not the compass. Whereas the American model does have the compass but not the NFC chip. Phones like the LG G4 sound interesting, but as they are older models, they will most likely no longer be supported with Android updates. As I plan to have this phone for the next few years, I do want something that is quite new so it will at least be supported for a while.
  25. So my Nexus 4 is completely pissing me off right now, as it keeps turning itself off randomly. The last two days, I have only been able to use it by keeping it plugged in with a charger... Which of course makes the phone pretty much useless when out and about! So I have been looking to update to a new phone, and I quite liked the looks/sounds of the new Moto G 5 Plus. I was looking to order it soon, but then I found out that this model doesn't actually have a compass built in. My question now is, how will this affect my usage? We use Google Maps/Here Maps quite a lot when driving or when walking around, but I don't know how much the lack of a compass will affect this? Will I be fine without it? Or is there an Android phone out there with a similar price tag (£250) that does have the compass/is better than the Moto G 5 Plus? I mostly use my phone to check the internet and Facebook, take photos (so decent camera is needed), listen to Spotify and as a Satnav. Thanks!
