I'm quite shocked by VR's pricing, for something they want to be main stream, those price points and relative lack of content are going to make this be the 3D of the 70's/80's - ignored for over a decade I'll wait to see what Morpheus is like, but i'm suspecting i won't be getting any VR any time soon

*queue Inception music* its the quarterly monthly weekly daily trip down the rabbit hole of our mind thats N-Europe Is that spinning top still spinning? -
I've liked the beta much more this time, the bullet spongeyness of some enemies seems toned down and there is more variety of the enemies now, even a female one at one point so thats some more of my concerns gone. The dark zone continues to impress me, after my initial play though i was concerned it would be more people griefing players than anything else, as in the closed beta it seemed a lack of players made it seem fairly balance with rogue agents. However with more players in the open beta it was better than i expected! at one point there was a fireteam of 4 rogue agents who started attacking myself and two of my mates, we were pinned down........when about 8 other agents flanked the griefers from two sides and together we decimated them! The same team appeared on the map later trying to take an extraction point and again players banded together,it was interesting and surprising. Managed to get to lvl 8 and lvl 8 dark zone with almost all blue gear Think i'm sold on this game, its my Destiny replacement

If i had to choose which one got the better story its mAss Effect over Destiny any day, As Cube said, at this point you'd have thought they would have the story fairly fleshed out for a sequel out early next year, this kind of concerns me that either; they are once again altering a story for the sequel mid development, they aren't as far along with D2 as you'd expect, or have potentially kept content back from Destiny for a sequel and hes in to tie it all together with a neat bow I'm sure its a good thing by comparison to what we got with destiny (why do we have story elements hidden in cards only view able online) but i wonder if his script will make it through again (they made a shit ton of money despite exec meddling, why not do it again?) and what it means for the game of this thread Andromeda, will changes that a potentially detremental take place as a replacement at bioware puts their stamp on it?

NOooooooooooooo he'll be a freaking tea boy for the Destiny staff! Story is not even on the teams radar, i've read better stories on the back of toy boxes

fuck that tweet is brutal! Loving my Vita far too much lately (its in my pocket at work and tempting me....) What with P4D, Digimon Cyber Sleuth, Trails (in the sky and Cold Steel) AND a replay of P4G, i've not even had time to pick up my 3DS and play the TriForce Heroes i got for Christmas

Yeah anyone who's not seen VII and comes in here is a fool, i for one will not be spoilering that Kylo Ren is Han's son, he Impales and Kills Han in the final act or anything else -
oh my god what is going on with this film and its trailers First one - Awesome Second one - aweful This one - well i feel like i need a cigarette and to call it in the morning! could possibly an actor from one of the most mediocre super hero films, that put the genre back a few years, go on to be THE batman? the definitive on screen version? because so far he has everything down right, those fight scenes!

Fucking TVii:mad: and then the tease of a semi start up with new music only to get abandoned entirely feel like grampa simpson shouting at clouds with nintendo sometimes -
Whats the point (from a shareholder point of view) of coming to these meetings and being unable to discuss the future properly because you can't discuss future platforms? surely if they are scared of leaks in advance of big launches, have NDA's publicish minutes redacted or at a later date or hold them closer to big launches I'd be frustrated to get half answers to my questions on the future because they aren't willing to discuss a future project, especially one everyone knows is coming soon! it could only be worse if they publicly give details in the next 28 days

Happy Birthday Eenuh! -
Chalk me up as never expecting that either He has been dull in interviews but i wonder if thats because he wasn't interested, I've seen him on Graham Norton (with a drink or two inside him) and he seemed more losened up, maybe if he's paid to do the job he might be interesting? Who knows with this, i seem to recall he's a petrol head (although american cars), plus he is an international name so could retain viewers, cynically he'll appeal to women more than Hamster ever did Still think NuTopGear is all over the place with the reports coming out

I played this last night with my friends, As a single player i'm not convinced it worked, or certainly the beta, it was a little light on everything and the actual gameplay didn't work well for a single player - you're there in body armour with assault rifles and guys in hoodies come up to you gangster style with mach 10's and slaughter you. The easiest comparison for the game is Destiny, and compared to single player it felt crap, but its a beta so maybe its just so restricted its like that However when i joined a fireteam the game felt a lot better and in some ways more fun than Destiny's fireteams - the tachtical team based combat worked, someone lays suppressing fire while another flanks trough cover and takes them out. The 'Dark zone' felt very interesting, a very oddly gloomy take on new york with interesting levels and areas, with the loot system being particularly tense, having to extract it via chopper (i wasn't celar can you just go back to base and drop it off or only through a chopper? one extraction point was next to the quarantine base) The Rogue agent part of it really excelled at improving the experience, the tense uneasy truce between you artificially generates an atmosphere. Then wen an agent goes rogue it goes in multiple directions; a free for all, one rogue and everyone fights to stop them, people run and wait to ambush the survivors - it was all very different, although i have the fear (as i found once or twice) it could just become a game of camping out near extraction points and griefing players who appear, effectively making the dark zones off limits to all but asshats. Equally the negative aspects to going rogue are all over the place - you respawn slower, loose XP and are marked on the radar for a time, but if you are camping out an extraction near the exit to the dark zone you can wait, slaughter a team genuinely extracting and then just leave claiming their loot with no consequence and return when you feel like rinsing and repeating. I did have some other concerns generally; The Weapons were all over the place, the realistic atmosphere does not lend itself well to the loot system of getting slightly upgrade stats on a weapon, in reality a bullet is a bullet and hits as hard as it does and in a game where everything but the combat is grounded in reality it seems odd to be comparing a police m4 with 1800dmps to a police m4 with 1850dps, and worse still when you get an uzi which utterly outclasses an assault rifle Its an odd mixture of the real and surreal. Then there is weapon balance, guys with uzi's the same level as you are bullet sponges with no real 'zones' to their body, so your M4 feals like a pea shooter. But then Shotguns feel realistic and can 1/2 shot most normal enemies over some distance, compare that to the M4 i used which needed 1 and 1/2 clips to kill the same enemy type. Sniper rifles felt suitably weighty dmg wise, but when you can manually aim at their heads and only take of a bar or two of their armour it feels like they end up being under powered. I'm not sure if its damage fall off over distance or just poor balancing thats at fault The other issue i had was the enemies; i only encountered what could be described as gang bangers in hoodies, the boss you encounter is a guy in a different colour hoodie with an LMG and he positively makes the bullet sponge normal enemies seem like cannon fodder - will this be the most frequent enemy type? as again its realism destroying to think a cloth hoodie stops hundreds of bullets! I hope the main game has all sorts of gangs, corrupt former cops etc and bosses at least have some reason to be stronger, perhaps have the virus make the immune stronger or something to explain it Personally i'd up the dmg of all guns and reduce the ammo spawns to make it more 'real' Overall though it did feel like a fun game and i'm likely to get it at launch to play with my mates at the very least (its managed to get my friend who's only played GTA online since it came out on PS4 to consider a second ps4 game)

I've got Broforce on PC, its a great game really good fun, i just wish the Vita version was still happening as it seems the best platform for it
-
Probably because it came out late in the life of the Wii and got the least sales, so Nintendo released it first to give those who'd abandoned the Wii a chance to play it I had Galaxy 2 from launch but only ever played it on my WiiU, i'd abandoned my Wii by that point
