  1. Gotta agree with Jammy about MP3 and TP. If you've played 1 or even 2 previous 3D games then these are fairly walkthrough. Nintendo do run out of ideas at a point and frankly the challenge of actual exploration and puzzles in both of those games were amazingly tame. Now SMG was easy but I didn't care. I was enjoying myself too much :p
  2. This is my last post in this convo as, quite frankly I don't see any points really being raised and the classic is happening where people are sinking into detail rather than actually making a point. Let's face it. This discussion is the classic Nintendo fanbase response. You're getting pissed becasue there are no good 3rd party games (well not good enough for your tastes). Back in the Gamecube days it was because there wasn't the installed userbase to warrant a serious attempt at releasing a title. And if there was one then there wasn't enough advertising. Now on the Wii, there is a huge userbase and you're all screaming about there being lots of shovelware. You want high budget games but you're the minority of the userbase and the vast swell aren't really that bothered (smelling the irony much?). And for the love of god why does everyone seem to think that the Wii deserves anything different to what it gets?
  3. I can just about understand that paragraph. It's not throwing the Wii scraps. They are putting their flagship titles on the platform that would make them the most money and putting games on the Wii that would make money there. And as for effort, why should they put any in? If the consumer is happy en-masse then what's the problem?
  4. Maybe not for the type of ppl who have been long term gamers. But they are the minority of the Wii demographic now. If people have bought the Wii thinking it's going to be something other than a generally casual system sprinkled with yummy Nintendo franchise games then that's not Ubisoft's fault. If people want to be playing Gears of War, Resident Evil, Mass Effect and so on but only hav a Wii then the solution to the problem is pretty obvious. They own the wrong system. There is a demographic for the Imagine series and it's been selling like hotcakes on the DS from what I know. It's all over the place like the Argos catalogue and in kids magazines. There are no competitors for the Imagine series bar a couple of Nintendo efforts that lead the field. Why does everyone seem to think that there are better alternatives?
  5. Gotta agree with 'will's philosophy on this. Especially now that I get to see a publisher from the inside (sort of). Think of it like this. Micheal Bay makes awful, shit horrible movies that make a fantastic amount of money. They appeal to a certain consumer with a certain appetite and it fits the spot.
  6. Have to disagree with both of these points. Time is on the Town's side really as they are more in number. Every night brings new information whether someone dies or not and adding a potential lynch of an innocent is not going to swing the game in their favour. And I would expect a dumb cop to work as Tellyn has suggested. At the end of the day we just don't know and that's the point. We are meant to be suspicious of his information. Have we even narrowed down the chance that he might have had his target changed?
  7. Logs on? Well we'll see I guess. Tbh, if this situation was reversed, you would point out that saying stuff like that just sounds like you're stalling for time but I'm not making any judgements yet. I need a bit more time to read over things.
  8. Ah ok you're right. Sorry for the distraction. But with the info that he's a hand pupet then it becomes pretty obvious actually. I haven't been listening carefully enough Tellyn seems to be diggin himself a hole here or the mafia is out to get him badly.
  9. I thought that the narrator just spoke what Paddington would say rather than the bear actually talk himself. And are you talking about the singing in the rain video? That's just got the music from the original movie dubbed over the top it's not actually Paddington talking. If you actually have a video in mind can you link it?
  10. I think I've got it. Paddington Bear. That would explain the lack of talking right? All other TV bears I know can talk.
  11. I'm in no hurry atm, I personally don't see much benefit of playing roulette at this point in the game. Also, no one is online so it's probably best to wait until tomorrow IRL.
  12. Exactly how i think it is. I'm not worrying, I just find it strange that people are more concerned about shit stirring rather than looking at some good facts. As fun as it is to corner ppl and get some info, it's useless unless we examine the info that's already there as well.
  13. Sorry, where did I say it WASN'T Ellmeister's post? Cube's the GM of course I'm talking about the post that he quoted, not his post itself.... Chill man, have some Hot-Choc or summet.
  14. Happy bday guys! Hope that you're having fun
  15. Sorry to distract ppl from the bloodthirsty-ness of lynching but doesn't anyone think that Cube quoting a post is suspicious? He's trying to tell us something and that is likely to be that that post caused the skip forward in time. It's likely to be a triggered thing.
  16. Er a certain returning member is having problems authenticating her account. I'm guessing that's because she's returning to use her old name.
  17. Isn't it fairly obvious now that these 2 aren't mafia? Would be better to investigate someone else imo.
  18. We have actually found out quite a lot already from Maase and Vicar but no one seems prepared to speculate as to what any of the characters could be or what their goals are. :S Day time is the only time we get to talk. Surely we should go over what we have properly before we leave another townie to die in mafia hands.
  19. A kid with a bucket (no idea who this is) A fox - most likely Bazil Brush (oh dear god...) Puppy-like creature (seriously wtf?) The kid seems to silence ppl or at least stop them from doing whatever. Find it interesting that the puppy could reach his target. Mouse 1 - likely to be Pinky/Brain, Mickey, Jerry or Itchy/Scratchy (whichever is which... i dunno) Dog 1 - Too many cartoon dogs to mention really. Turtle - Ninjaz? Not many other turtles are there in kids TV shows Dog 2 Bear - Yogi? Big Ben? Mouse 2 - Looking more like PntB (pretty obvious it's Vicar now) Machine - Likely to be Thomas (Maase) now. Odd creature - again wtf? Cat - again, with the fucking cartoon cats and mice. Could be TC i suppose. Grown man - Any ideas? Dave from the Chipmunks perhaps? We know plenty about this now. Dunno what the Blob could be, the man is just as mysterious. Probably the big evil. ------------------------------------------ So I'm thinking that Vicar is Pinky. Pinky's shit... fucks up everything he does. Makes for a bad investigator if you ask me.
  20. "And finally we'd like to wish a happy April Fools day. Goodbye"
  21. Lol, thanks guys... i think :p I'll be ok. Just maybe expect me to be a little pissy on Sat night.
  22. Spent a lot of today catching up on Smallville. Went to work, had conversation woth Bluey, it was awkward. That carried onto an awkward MSN convo and now feeling under par. Tired of being the one who feels like crap when she deserves it more.
