Yeah, I beat a White maned Lynel yesterday but it took everything I had. I found another one today and decided it would be best to just leave it be lol

Yeah very suprising its not announced for Switch considering these are all NES games. Maybe it'll come at a later date.Anyhow, I'll buy this on Steam. Duck Tales is my favourite NES game and by chance I've been recently trying to buy these old Disney Capcom games. Duck Tales 2 and Chip n Dale 2 are pretty expensive these days.

I completed my second Divine Beast today (The Geko/Lizard thing on Death Mountain) and then spent another 6 hours wondering around and exploring. I activated another tower, went back to an older area I hadn't really explored properly in the past, finally killed some of the mini bosses, found bunch of Shrines and tons Korok seeds. I also went back to the house I bought back at Hateno Village and fully upgraded it. The only thing I'm having an issue with right now is I can't find that tree you give the Kotrok seeds to to upgrade my item slots lol

I've been playing for 16 hours, only have 4 heart containers and have not completed a single dungeon but running around exploring the land and finding things to do is so much fun I feel like I could do it forever

that's pretty shocking considering the price they are asking for it

Well, I got an email from Amazon last night: So still no Zelda for me but they offered me the download code for the same price and gave me £5 credit, so they've been really good about it.

I'm a Amazon Prime member and pre-ordered zelda. And yet: Edit- just checked my emails and there's one from amazon alerting me about this. Not too bothered, but I would have loved to start playing Zelda today.

I hope they show Nintendo's GDC talk somewhere. Some of the pictures of it look fascinating: ^They even built a 2D version of the game during production

I'd never heard of this game before but the devs dropped into giantbomb last week and did a playthrough a couple of stages. I'm really impressed with the way it looks and looking forward to it:

I'm not buying a Switch for the time being but just out of curiosity to those of you saying you're not buying one partially because there won't be a VC at launch, if the VC WAS there what games would you have wanted to be available on March 3rd? I personally don't think we would have gotten more then a couple of NES and SNES titles at best. I remember just a year after the Wii U was released for £350, Play.com was selling the premium model Wii U for £200 with NSMB and the Luigi DLC included. This is the reason I bought mine. Although of course that wasn't an official price drop, just a store trying to clear stock.

noticed Breath of the wild now has a page on the eshop. You can't buy it but it shows the price: £59.99 Thankfully amazon had the retail copies back in stock so i won't have to go digital and pay that much for it.

This is how I saw it too so this wasn't a huge surprise. I have to say, even if I was getting a switch at launch I've pretty much bought all of the games I've wanted through the previous two consoles VC catalogue so it doesn't make a difference to me as I'm unlikely to buy anything off the VC for it.

yeah I've been coming back to this game a few times over the past couple of weeks and I end up getting disconnected every few games, which pretty much ends my interest in playing for a while. I didn't have any trouble finding games though, lobbies filled up pretty much instantly in both ranked and turf wars.

I think i have a more positive impression of the game after watching this video but yeah, it feels a little shallow considering it's price. I think this would have been perfect as a pack-in game

Yeah I'm pretty much holding the same opinion as you are here, with the exception of Splatoon because I really enjoyed the first game. Very little about the switch itself appeals to me as I have zero interest in using it as a portable and its not going to have a lot of the features the Wii U had that I used all the time. Right now I'm leaning on getting a PS4 over the summer and then maybe buy the Switch with Mario is released.

It's a step back for me as I own a Wii U and if I was to buy a Switch, it supposedly would be the console replacing it under my TV. Having a bunch of features I've been used to, no longer be present in the next console, such as a browser, netflix and even Miiverse is regressive to me. Plus the Wii U browser is genuinely awesome so it's a shame the Switch won't have something like that. Hopefully they'll add it in the future.

I absolutely loved Dirt 2 but Dirt 3 went more inno being about drifting around stunt courses then being a rally game. If this is more like 2 I'd get it right away

Well I didn't pre-order Breath of the Wild for Wii U because I didn't think I'd need to (I've never had to pre-order any Wii U games in the past) but it seems to have sold out on amazon, which kinda sucks for me. Looks like I'll be buying it digitally unless it comes back in stock somehow.

ha that's pretty good: I remember in the original Wii U thread we knew when the first time the ad was going to air before hand and for some reason it aired really late at night, like past midnight or something on More4 ...and then I never saw it again. By January the ad was removed by the advertising standards authority: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-01-16-moderately-misleading-wii-u-ad-removed I hope in a year or so we start to hear some of the back story of what was going on at Nintendo during the Wii U's production. There is so much about the past 4 years of Nintendo that has confused me.
