im guessin you mean the black 'S' model? tis a good set but it's out-spec'd by this years models and carries a hefty price tag. By shite i really meant shite value. For the price of it you can get a 100Hz set from Panasonic, Toshiba or Sharp

Which 26" model though? Theres 4, 2 are good, 1 is OK and the last is a pile of poo

If it was my money i'd go for one of these 3: http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/3362511/LG-22LS4R-22-Widescreen-LCD-Monitor-With-TV-Tuner-And-HDMI/Product.html?dpr=4545 http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=622466 or the Samsung 215TW (no good prices on this right now, most are around the £240 mark but i've seen it as low as £200). If i was going to buy today i'd order the 22" LG from Play.com A little on the pricey side but it beats the competition hands down it terms of range of features. If you can get a hold of a Wii VGA cable though then ignore all that and buy a regular monitor. Should save you a fair bit of cash -
Samsung 26": http://audiovisual.kelkoo.co.uk/ctl/do/sort?catId=100311823&searchId=8724811722_1189418432667_1392833706&tsSearchId=1189418432666&pid=18078193&field=totalprice&sortcolumnid=total_price&previous=group Samsung 32": http://audiovisual.kelkoo.co.uk/ctl/do/sort?catId=100311823&searchId=8724811722_1189418511149_1392833706&tsSearchId=1189418511145&pid=18078185&field=totalprice&sortcolumnid=total_price&previous=group Toshiba 32": http://audiovisual.kelkoo.co.uk/ctl/do/sort?catId=100311823&searchId=8724811722_1189418569283_1392833706&tsSearchId=1189418569282&pid=18379226&field=totalprice&sortcolumnid=total_price Panasonic 26": http://audiovisual.kelkoo.co.uk/ctl/do/sort?catId=100311823&searchId=8724811722_1189418604254_1392833706&tsSearchId=1189418604253&pid=18045669&field=totalprice&sortcolumnid=total_price Theres a few to get you started. Try getting John Lewis to price match some of those stores

hmm, im really tempted to buy an 80GB classic. I should be able to get one for under £120 when they come in stock at my dad's work, pretty good value eh? -
This is what i bought my new PC for! Mods are one of the best bits about the UT series and there was no way i was going to miss out on them! Sure, mods might come to the 360 version, but so far it looks very unlikely. Microsoft don't want them on there! (think it's something to do with people hacking the 360 tbh) Anyhow, i really, really can't wait for this game! UT2004 is my favourite game ever! Just hope my PC can play it well, if not then come February i'll be changing the graphics card + procsessor (AMD Phenom + 8800GTS probably)

Not without a signal converter (i.e. hassle and more expense) -
I feel bad for the Italians, lossing Pavarotti like that. I know just how it feels, i lost a tenner last week... Bit soon? Someone at work told me that one, ranks second on the insensitivity meter to one of my other mates going to a haloween party last year dressed Steve Irwin (complete with Sting-Ray) On a serious note, rest in piece big man! You'll be much missed

That looks really good!

http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Products.asp?CatID=27&Category=Monitors&ThumbNails=Yes&FilterKeywords=&FilterMinPrice=&FilterMaxPrice=&FilterCategories=337&FilterManufacturers=80&OrderBy=1 Those 3 all have built in TV tuners too. Not sure how good they are though, not read much about them This has composite: http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/114797 Theres the Samsung 215TW too, composite, component, s-video, VGA and DVI. It's one of the highest rated monitors around, prices just over £200 -
Try connecting to the router via and ethernet cable, that will tell you if it's a wireless problem or a network problem

I'd be more worried about the presence of Flash memory than the size of it. If Apple weren't such greedy buggers they'd have replaced the flash memory with an SD card slot And i strongly agree on the charger front, i was horrified when my sister got her mini and there turned out to be no charger! It's a standard piece of kit, and a USB cable really doesn't cut it with me. Im never far from a USB port, but im always closer to a mains port -
I should have said an extended warranty. They aren't worth as much money as most shops will charge, but if you can get one for less than 10% of the items cost then it's usually worth the extra. The one in the first link is a lot better. The Argos one is Samsung's bargain basement TV from last year
-
They'll do the bad the day Halo 3 launches, just to piss you all off :p
-
You don't really need to switch it off, it's switched off automatically when you need the power
-
It's the best in it's price range, although some people prefer the Toshiba (more natural looking pictures + motion). Try EmpireDirect.co.uk Join they're club (£20/year) and get 3 years warranty for free! Theres loads of good companies selling TVs, Amazon are just meh. Neither the cheapest or offering a warranty

Checkmessenger doen't stop you signing in. It steals you're contacts list and changes you're name to "http://www.CheckMessenger.net <--Find out who deleted you from the MSN without noticing it!!! says:" If you can still log in at home and ain't getting these messages coming up then it ain't that

People say that because mobile ATI graphics cards share the system RAM. This can cause problems, because it effectively lowers you're system RAM in graphically intense situations. In this situation though the point is pretty moot. The card has 256MB of RAM to play with before it even needs to look at the system RAM, then another 2GB of that to share. It's unlikely it will need to share RAM very often and even if it does there should be a fair amount going unused in 2GB! I don't actually agree with these "don't go ATI" comments though, mobile ATI cards tend to be faster. Sure they guzzle RAM, but thats the upgradable part

What about this one? http://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/Asus_A8JR_Laptop_A8JR-4P072C/version.asp
-
This looks like a pretty ace deal: http://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/Asus_A8JR_Laptop_A8JR-4P072C/version.asp If i had a spare £550 i'd be placing an order on it right now :p

Both the Sonys are shite. The first is they're dirt cheap budget model and the other is the one above that. Both are out of date. The Samsung and Toshiba are fairly on-par. Amazon aren't a good place to buy TVs though
-
Im not sure what im getting it on yet, might be 360 so i can play with the usual lot. Depends on the price difference
-
WOW I can't believe i've never seen this guy climb before, wish i could climb as well as that! Not sure i'd make it to 45 if i could though, he's been lucky

I could see a merge of the Nano/Shuffle and Classic/Touch/iPhone happening withing 5 years. The Nano keeps getting smaller + cheaper so the Shuffle will soon be redundant and the market expansion is tilting towards use of HSDPA networks for high speed streaming of Video/Audio anywhere in the country. When all this happens theres no point in 5 SKUs, Apple could merge them in to 2 without loosing any custom. If Apple are the first in the market to do this then i'll buy another iPod
