I think including the terminator name in the title is a mistake, doesn't give a very good first impression. I can actually see good potential in the story, but the name Terminator Salvation just screams "cash-in"

Having read reviews im getting it on PC. For the reasons Solo just pointed out, reviews are saying the PC version plays a lot better and doesn't suffer slowdown issues That rumour about the games shop is false So it's either Steam or next Friday...

Except 32-bit Vista won't use a 4th GB of RAM, so it'd be pretty pointless. You'd get an extra 200MB or so out of that gig

Loads of games use Dual Core. Im not 100% sure on the science of it but you'd see more performance out of a Q6600 than an E6850, even before the apparently easy OC to 3GHz

I think it is time to make hard drugs legally obtainable. The argument that more people will take them is bull shit, i can walk out my front door right now and within half an hour have what ever narcotic takes my fancy. How can legalisation make drugs any more obtainable than that? So, if it can't make availability any better/worse then what will legalisation do? It will allow the government to monitor the flow of drugs, generate revenue (through tax) and remove the biggest money supply to the criminal underworld. Unfortunately it's unlikely to happen, imagine the fuss the media would make if Gordon Brown announced such a policy?

Yeah, you'd see a boost. Is it really worth the money though? Thats £600+ just to go from smooth frame rates at high settings to smooth frame rates at max! Also, why an E6850? The Q6600 is about the same price and performs better If you do upgrade though i might be interested in you're processor + mobo. My parents computer is away to die, when it does i'm upgrading my CPU and using the current one in a new PC for them. An E6600 would be a hell of an improvement over a 1.9GHz Athlon X2

nooooo! i just traded Oblivion in! The castle will just appear in you're game Wes, it's up to you if you go near it or not. I might have to bump the GOTY edition of Oblivion towards the front of my "to buy" list now, more new content is way too tempting! Interesting that it's the last bit of DLC too, guess that means they'll be starting work on TESV? Yayness!

My instant reaction to the word Acer is avoid like the plague. They're reliability rate ain't that great and they're repairs department suck. I've been kept waiting up to 7 weeks to get my laptop back from them. A lot of people have trouble, although looking at that pic you shouldn't have any of the hinge snapping problems that plague the travelmate (different style of hinge)

I did think about a decent headset, but i'd rather put the cash towards a set of Aego M speakers + a decent sound card. Im sure my neighbours would prefer the headset, but meh to them

Im looking to buy a new headset for my comp, at the moment im using the 360 one via the 360 controler and i can't keep at that! All i want it for is voice chat, the rest of the in-game sound will blast through my speakers. Anyone got any recommendations? Also looking at a new keyboard + mouse. Must be black, blue lights (if any) are preferable. All this is in aid of payday being this friday, Team Fortress 2 being out now and UT3 being on it's way. Need to update my kit

Wish i could, me and Paypal fell out about 18-months ago. Long story but i lost £50 Think my mum is gonna lend me her card though, so it's all good. Day off tomorrow, should have a good spin through Portal and TF2 (decided im buying the full box on PC now). Anyhow, im off to complete the rest of HL2 so i can play EP1+2 (How long is HL2? Im probably 2.5 hours in, im guessing it's a bit longer than Halo 3?)
