    In response to that, I would say that every album Opeth release is unconditionally my album of the year . I don't hear as many new albums as you every year though, so enlighten me, what gets your pick? As for KsE, Alive or Just Breathing is easily in my top 10 albums of all time, because it is for all intents and purposes, perfect. Every song on that album is immaculately conceived. Every riff is it's own microcosm of brilliance. End of Heartache and As Daylight Dies are two albums which when you first listen to them are like, "wow, this is good," but that wears down. I can't really listen to those albums anymore, and definately not without remembering that KsE are probably the most talented American metal band on the planet, and have (seemingly effortlessly) done so so much better in the past. Still, those albums weren't a huge misstep, they were both written and recorded within the space of two months, which just goes to show that if those guys actually tried to put out another defining album, they could probably release yet another paragon of modern metal. It's still great headbanging material, although I think the last two albums were sprung out of a lack of need to prove themselves. And excuse my seemingly selfrighteous sense of indignation, but the majority of posters on this thread can suck my balls if they think anything they say can or will be taken seriously, considering they have absolutely no knowledge or appreciation of the subject at hand. Also: Holy fucking shit, Coolness Bears and Cube both like Watershed? This makes me happy.

    Yeah, I like them all, they seem like cool bunch of guys. I kinda feel sorry for Bozon though, everyone just keeps making fat jokes, and making him do the Wii fit blog seems a tad humiliating.

    Hahahah ha. haha. Says the Alanis Morisette and Ting Tings fan. Honestly, every member of KsE has infinitely more talent in their little fingers than anyone in your entire last fm. Fact. But then, you're one of those popularist types who only listens to whatever track pops up first on youtube. The betting is that you've never actually heard anything off Alive or Just Breathing, but just listened to the ballady type songs on ADLD and EoHA. Therefore, I conclude that you do, infact, suck.

    Ah right, I understand (vaguely). I always wondered why university required grades were shown in terms of points rather than grades. Makes sense = ).

    All this DMM stuff is blady confusing. Why don't they just use the A B C D E system like everyone else So 360 points is DDD? ie AAA. Fair dooooos.

    Lol, fair dos . Yeah, I know, and thank fuck for platinum games, but even if they aren't going to make great original games themselves, at least they're willing to facilitate another developer thats trying. More of that plz

    Yeah, totally, I mean, SC2 is still one of the only fighters I've ever played that works quite well with an analogue stick of all things. A regular controller shouldn't handicap you like it does in VF or SF, but I still prefer the added utility of an arcade stick, so that's how I'll be playing.

    I went back to play REmake on Cube the other day, and I just cannot play it for more than half an hour at a time, the atmosphere is so oppressive it just makes me want to curl up into a ball in a corner of my room. Love the game though, but the design seems hella archaic after...well, it's been 10+ years now.

    There's not really much opportunity to put waggle in Tenchu apart from sword fights though, and those aren't really the most complex fights either. I think it could benefit from using the IR for shuryiken and other aiming stuff. I just hope it doesn't feel like it should have been on the PS2 7 years ago.

    For this reason, if I ever met up with you or Cox of Seagulls for example, it would just be awkwardness broken by the occasional Scrubs quote I tapped Dyson on the shoulder at the Pure Pwnage UK premiere, but he didn't recognise me :p. Apparently going to meet a bunch of people off here in the summer, which should result in a fun time. Never really done it before, but it's not like they're not normal people, so there shouldn't be anything to worry about. I would probably not have gone to meet anyone I knew online 3 or more years ago, but I guess you just trust yourself more when you get older. Or something.

    Wow, promising trailer. Although I'll be a little wary seeing as Tenchu Z was absolutely heinous. This looks a hell of a lot better than that game though. Somehow I know I'm going to be eating my words when this comes out though

    Went to the park with friends, a stack of beer and some dominos. Had no idea that there was some sort of fair thingy going on at Platt fields part, it was awesome. They've got a new BMX track, tightrope walkers, fire jugglers, a midget riding a bicycle. All sorts of crazy shit. Best thing was when four of us took out a paddle boat for half an hour, boarded the island in the center of the lake and tried to steal the geese until a policeman rowed up to us and told us, using a variety of expletives to get off the island. Got home at like, 10, and watched The Cat Returns, and My Neighbour Totoro, which were freaking AWESOME. Awesome day .

    Speaking of the site, it's doing pretty freaking well for itself. I'd like to be there the day it's seen in the same light as 1up and Gamespot (you never know). Although, being a Nintendo site, just saying that there's a slight lack of objectivity . Anyway, I don't see what's to be excited about this, but then I hate Sonic anyway. I just seems that this is going to be mediocre on all the platforms it's released on. It would be nice to see SEGA really try something new for once, they haven't been risking anything with new IP's in recent memory at all. I would, for example, like to see something in the vein of Condemned or at least something more gritty and atmospheric. It seems that publishers seem to think stuff isn't going to sell on Wii unless it has a fisher price colour palette and quirky gameplay mechanics. It's good to see that they're trying something great with Madworld, but I'd like to see more of the same.
