i think nintendo are gonna be releasing a lot of exclusives through this magazine before the net if they can. it's a big investment for them, and i think very little has been released news-wise for a while now (NOM had nothing past few months of interest) possibly for this reason. besides, there's just something about a good magazine, and sitting down to relax with it. as much as i love the net, it can't compete in that way lol and i'll always buy magazines.

tried replying to your message but you've got ur quota of pm's maxed out... you were asking about starbucks since you thought they were t-mobile and wouldn't work with the ds... well they sure do! yeh i thought they were t-mobile, but apparently t-mobile is a part of the bt openzone, that's what comes up on my ds anyway. i went in there when i had an hour to kill one day and it was just coincidence that i had my ds with me... even though they said it cost a fiver an hour and you have to put a code in thru a laptop i tried it out since ninty said it was free... and after about twenty seconds it connected! once it's set up it only takes a few seconds every other time, so rocks!!

that show is an instant classic! the whole cast is superb and the writing hilarious! such a shame it's not getting the same treatment over here as it obviously is in the states, it deserves to be a massive hit here too

george was just an angry little man, chandler's humour was completely differnet. altho i liked both shows i preferred friends and didn't make any special effort to follow seinfeld. joey did suck tho, feels like one of those cheap teenage sitcoms that trouble love to show so much. two and a half men is a great one tho, following it now...

why not just give the info instead of openly asking if you should...? ofcourse you're gonna know we all like to gossip and share stories about the revolution, no matter the source, as it gives us topics for conversation and debate

i don't think any of our ideas, no matter what we try to come up with, will be anything like what the game will end up being, to be honest. only because nintendo themselves have said that they can't show the game because it is so innovative and unique that their competitors would steal the idea behind it. we could speculate forever, but we're still thinking about current generation genres and how they could work with the wand, nintendo are thinking on a whole different plane... think about it, we couldn't have predicted some of the diverse gaming we're enjoying and about to enjoy on the ds before its launch. personally, i can't wait for launch to play this, as i do think it'll be a launch title. nintendo have said they made a mistake not having a big proper mario game for launch with the cube and that they'll not make the same mistakes with the revo. also, i think it'll use the wand on its own, not even with the nunchuku, as not only will nintendo need to show people that it is a viable controller on its own and can control a huge and involving game such as mario128, but also remember the promo video showed a girl playing a platform game with just the controller...

yeh i saw those pictures of her in the magazines, it's obvious she has been trying to get famous for a long time, and i bet those naked pictures helped her get INTO the house as i'm sure c4 were aware of them and hoped she would strip inside. she always seemed a bit stupid to me, she has no skills, no talent, yet now she's gonna be famous and earn lots of money... doesn't seem fair to me when there's so many talented people out there trying to make it. i'm glad charities have benefited, i'm also sure the "celebrities" who didn't win will contribute anyway to the charities they were going in for, but i think it's all just stupid now. i watched it the year alex, jade etc were in and i enjoyed it as it was my first time, watched it again last year until they got rid of the good characters in the first few weeks, and this one just didn't interest me at all.

definitely not as hardcore as yourself my first concert experience was the corrs, a band i never listen to anymore... nothing to do with them i'm sure they're still great but my whole music taste has shifted to motown/jazz. have to say their gigs were brilliant tho! actually my first one was in a virgin megastore at a signing of their's where they performed a half-hour set if you wana be technical lol. went to see them twice after that in belfast, right up the front so a clear view... "hmm... caroline the drummer mmmmmmmmmmmm".... ahem, apart from them the only other concert was p.diddy (again my music has shifted but i still think he's one of the few hip-hop stars out today that i can still listen to) in dublin in 2000. man! that was day and a half!! concert itself was nearly three hours, with guest appearances from everyone you could imagine!! only thing is every muscle in my body was in agony the next morning thanks to the full eight-minute version of "come with me" from the godzilla soundtrack, complete with fireworks, explosions and a helluva lot of shouting, jumping etc etc lol.

with sony touting the ps3 as an all-in-one media hub i DO hope this is the price so they scupper themselves instead of our launch! i think sony are more scared of nintendo than their silence would have anyone believe, IF this launch date is for sure. but hey, let it have the limelight for a couple of weeks then let the revolution steamroller come in and ruin it. HOWEVER (are you listening nintendo?? ) space at the front of shops MUST be bought for the revolution, otherwise sony will get there first and the shops will be shoving a brand new console from nintendo down the back as soon as it is launched! that's not exactly gonna give a good public impression of how much faith stores are putting into ninty's revo, whether they wana put it there or not! as for the prices of these games for download, i find them fine, especially when you place them side-by-side with the pathetic wee games microsoft are charging people to play, like moria said. how about a monthly unlimited download... then just download everything you could ever possibly want that year jk!! also, for a few pounds more than most of you would like (understandable, by the way) we get these games officially from nintendo, all instructions will be downloaded too (something we'd be missing buying them 2nd hand most of the time) and they're guaranteed to work... with the possibility in some cases of advanced frame rate and MAYBE online multiplayer on some 1st party game (it'll probs be very rare, but maybe a few of the most wanted games). and counter-balance this with completely FREE online play for all your revolution games! can't forget that! all-in-all, a great all-round package i feel... (if true!)

the sun gets a bad press because everyone reads it, whether they're business men and women, or students. when it comes to things like this tho it usually would just tow the line with popular "cool" opinion and stick with the ps2 because, through no real fault of their own, they don't have anyone working for them that probably knows any different. shame that the "article" didn't actually go into any detail about the controller other than it uses "movement" and is one-handed (with a picture of the two-handed device, d'oh!). but hey, i'm happy to see this too viva la revolution, and let's hope we get more support this time around... ...speaking of which, i think this is nintendo's doing. remember a lot of people were disappointed to hear yesterday's "announcement" (boy, i'm fond of quotation marks today aren't i?!) was just an event for the popular press...? well, i bet this is a direct result of that, enlightening more of the press means more support in the press, and a better public perception. nintendo ARE doing things right :D

i think this is a good thing. as much as they were nice to look at from a guy's perspective (well, one or two were to be honest) it's not exactly giving out a good image. you expect this sorta thing at car shows and stuff, but if the industry we're following is wanting to expand like it says it does, this is a good but small step.

two and a half men is another good show, took a while to get going was quite slow and "canned laughter" at the start but it's picked up speed and is excellent now with a proper audience and the best one-liners too. brilliant stuff. but i did like friends, yeh the final year wasn't as good as, say, the first couple, but that was only because it was fresh and different back at the beginning. fans will rejoice, anyone who doesn't like it just don't watch, there's plenty of rubbish on out there that i don't care about.

ah, but... nintendo didn't announce this, konami did. this is great news! never played the games before but konami is usually not a keen supporter of nintendo, so for them to consider an exclusive of such a big title to them is brilliant! that AND the possibility of an exclusive game from the makers of resi... drooooooooooooooolllll........ hope it's true!

i can't wait myself!! even though i've seen them all, if i'm flicking thru the channels and they're on (well, they're always on e4!) i'll always end up watching them, even just for chandler, that character has gotta be the best in sitcom history! yep david schwimmer directed some aired episodes of joey too, didn't make them any better tho :S sorry, don't really like the spin-off. can't see one working with the three fellas since ross has his child and especially chandler since he's married to one of the other female leads. shame tho, look how good frasier was as a spin-off...

you know what'll happen at launch don't you? we'll be down the back with no shop-front advertising because sony don't want a fair fight and will buy all that space up. nintendo needs to get this sorted out!

bit disappointed there's no mention of the new official magazine from future publishing tho. that "coming soon from the makers of ngc" ad as it turns out is for a new website for games.

nintendo's own official website is stating 2006 for us, take it as gospel. if they weren't 100% behind that it wouldn't be up on their site for us to see. let's hope that once people get a chance with it, that shops won't shove it into a dark hole somewhere down the back to make way for the george forman grill... ahem, i mean ps3.

lurvvin' it lol this is great stuff! really, may seems too bloomin' far away right now, that's an awful lot of mario kart ds wifi to be getting on with between now and then tho anyone read edge this month? i glanced (read: read thru a lot of it but never actually bought it coz i only had enough cash for NGC) thru its main feature on the "ps3 vs the world", and it had an awful lot to say for the nintendo system. nothing on its wifi abilities but then again they're unknown at this time, but edge have been "bigging up" nintendo and in my book that says an awful lot too (now i'm away to buy it lol)

d'oh! lol. thank you so much i'll have to get my hands on this, as toonami are seriously messing it up. they have a double bill on every night at 11pm, and on wednesday the second episode was the first part of the original story. brilliant i thought, as i've never seen it, and it seems to have a lot more depth behind its conception than i originally gave it credit for! then last night (thursday) i sit down to watch parts two and three... but what do bloody toonami do??? they show part two, then skip on to half way thru season one!!
