LOL! Yeah Battlefield Night would be awesome! I'm a lot more free now..changed jobs at work so work a lot more sociable hours! Also I picked up a new official sony headset before I went to SA not managed to use it yet!

BUMPAGE!!! Right lets going this going! We have a growing PS3 community let's have some gaming nights. We can either give nights themes or put specific games on certain nights...Its never really kicked off before but lets hope it does now!

One thing I've been thinking about is multiplayer. Whilst I hate tacked on multiplayer that detract from the single player development. How cool would a mode like that one in splinter cell be where one person is batman and the others are henchmen....

I do agree with you cookyman....I've never known so many of my friends to be online at once but everyone is playing something different! It's cool though how the slim has reinvigorated the PS3 community... Even amongest previous owners... Didn't realise you were on VGEVO. I am on there, more a lurker than a poster listen to a lot of their podcasts...

finally! I mean how long has it taken for them to finally realise this is what we all want? When they unveiled the Unleashed trailer the bits everyone cared about were the 2D-esque bits not the naff werewolf sections. -

If enough people get into Fat Princess I may pick it up. I fully intended to pick it up when I got back from South Africa and was somewhat shocked at the complete and utter lack of a following not just on here but all round, really shows how early server problems can just outright kill a game if your not quick enough to act on them or if its thats frustrating. EDIT: Agreed Dwarf, the PS community doesn't seem to really get behind games on here...its a problem all round though, I have a mix of people on my friends list and people seem to always be playing different things not those big games that everyone is instantly drawn to even R2 and KZ2 didn't really, neither did LBP in quite the way expected.

Yeah its a bit of ball ache getting your computer to format a HDD larger than a certain size into FAT32. There is a program called CompuApps SwissKnife that apparently does it but whenever I tried to do it using that the program crashed you may have more luck could have been my system set up that made it crash...

For me its all about the Megadrive! Just the sheer diversity of games that were out and whilst I've grown older and now enjoy 2D Mario games at the time I was a sucker for Sonic and his "blast processing" also Sonic 3 + Sonic and Knuckles was simply the coolest invention ever at the time and still amazes me even now. Also so many other iconic games on Megadrive; Kid Cameleon, Shinobi,Mega lo Maniac, World of Illusion and Castle of Illusion, the list really does go on. Sega should be bringing all these titles back, although they should remain selective I don't think there is quite the following that Nintendo's big franchises have built up over the years. One thing about this list is how the fook did the Atari Jaguar make it onto the list it really was an absolute turd of a console.

One good thing about Samsung netbooks as well is their keyboard design is much closer to full sized than a lot of the shitty minature versions you get with some netbooks.

I don't know where I stand on music games now...only have GH3 been thinking of getting RB2 but was waiting for it to go down as it was £45 a lot of places now you can get it for £30 but now theres Beatles RB and GH5 throw into the mix...what should I do?

Via Japanese ad-hoc party do you mean? I've not got it downloaded, think also it only works if your PS3 is running off a wired connection mine is off wireless, but we can always try it tonight, get in from work at about 5ish. I hate the gauntlet mode, am stuck on one of the techniques its trying to teach me can't remember which one, its not something I ever do as part of my playing so I don't care! Love the game though really need to put some more time in, only played a couple of hours because been spliting my time between this Ninja Gaiden DS and 100%ing Batman Arkham Asylum.

Yeah going early does help...although I didn't got until 11 the day I picked up my Dreamcast...good thing is here as well there is an afternoon one 12-4...which is where i got my megadrive from..Still cannot believe yesterdays complete lack of stuff... To kind of make up picked up these two on ebay; Both games I have previously owned and decided I wanted again...Moonwalker has been going for crazy prices recently but I picked it up for £8.50.

Yeah I had thought about this for some of the retro games I wanted to include..want to include Links Awakening for example as well which will be tricky to record properly..what sort of onscreen recordings programs can you use... I am hard at work with regards to the intro and got a few features planned as well... There is mention of metropolis somewhere in the game can't remember if it was one of the guards or what but definitely was there.

I found fuck all today!!! I was looking at some PSOne games and the woman offered me them for £20 with the console but I have one knocking about and most of the games were shit. I went to two actually my usually favourite Ripon Racecourse didn't have many gaming delights a lot of PS2 and PSP stuff and nothing I was interested in though. Only stuff I bought was a copy of Tony Adams Autobiography and Aldous Huxley's Brave New World for 10p each! Bit deflated by it all tbh was well up for some megadrive or gameboy bargains!
