You should have gotten PS+ when this game was free. The boss fights suck but are bearable if you don't mind wasting a few points on combat upgrades, and personally I thought the DLC was a letdown. If they're still making you lose your upgrades for the duration of it, I don't think integrating it into the full game is a big deal, and if anything, it'll just slow the pace down. If you have money to spare, then sure - go for the improved version. Personally, I'd just go with the cheap option. :p

Erm, did you watch season 2? Talk about going nowhere! Honestly, it really sounds like you're just having problems adjusting to watching it once a week instead of at your own pace. The deer hunter guy rounded her up and put her there before all that other stuff happened. At least that's the official explanation. But yeah, pretty much everyone on the show is an idiot. Which is another reason why I don't understand why people single Andrea out. :p

I found the combat really frustrating in the first game and much better in the sequels - plus the mix between platforming and combat is much better. No idea what Dr4khon is on about.

Bwahaha. I doubt they'll have time to fix it in time for the reprint, though. Unless they delay it! *Won't get to play the game until 2014* I don't know whose brilliant idea it was to take a game that was lauded for its mix of social links and dungeon crawling and make a bonus scenario that removed the social links entirely and focused solely on dungeon crawling. Never mind the fact that it was extremely difficult and what little story there was really wasn't worth it. Blah. Hopefully the new scenario in Devil Survivor 2: Break Record is better. It's good so far, but I've only played for an hour and a half. I decided to do some research on the game after beating the first dungeon and found out that it's apparently rather dungeon-crawley and fairly difficult, but I'm hoping the story will make up for it. :p

Welp, I got an email from Amazon on Thursday saying that they didn't get enough stock in and to sit tight and wait for the reprint, so I started playing Digital Devil Saga instead. What's another few weeks at this point? :p In other news, Devil Survivor 2: Break Record is going to have a casual mode, a new character, full voice acting, new anime cutscenes and a brand new scenario that takes place after the end of the game (which worked so well in Persona 3: FES).

That makes no sense. If you die, you should be stuck haunting the mansion forever as a ghost.

The timing is always the same as when you're shown what to do beforehand. If you die when you miss them, then there's your answer, I guess. The only things that will kill OHKO you are falling down a pit or missing the final attack, as far as I know.

... And Persona 4.

It's only £5 more on Amazon, if that makes holding off on buying it easier.
