MEGAMI TENSEI. I was facing the penultimate boss in Digital Devil Saga 2, when it charged up for a powerful attack. I had no idea what to expect, so I was like, okay, let's just wait and see what it does. And then it hits me with an electricity attack that wipes out my entire party. Game over. So I go back, and this time I know to protect against electricity when the boss charges up. After fighting for twenty minutes or so and doing as okay as one could expect while fighting a boss in a MegaTen game, the boss starts charging up again AND THEN CHARMS MY ENTIRE PARTY. I can't protect against electricity attacks, my whole party gets wiped out and as if that wasn't bad enough, my healer makes sure to heal the boss fully before she dies. Sometimes I don't know why I bother.

Because this part would be hilarious: Squirm, Nintendo fanboys! Squirm!

All I got from that was, "don't buy Rayman".

How can people not use a mouse pad? I just tried using my mouse directly on my desk, and it's so noisy compared to with a mouse pad.

Small mouse pads are annoying, but when are you ever going to use your mouse underneath your keyboard?

Yep, that's what games were like in 1999, alright. I played System Shock 2 as a stealthy, melee-focused hacker only to get stuck with a sort-of-boss late in the game in a room filled with respawning enemies. Fortunately, they gave you a broken-down rocket launcher (?) shortly before the boss fight, so I poured some of my saved points into repair and fixed it up, and whenever it broke down again, I'd have to circle-strafe while repairing it from my inventory. Fun times.

Based on the released information, trailer and screenshots, there's nothing more to the game than building roller coasters to complete challenges.
